Glenn Beck to join Fox News next spring.

Michael Calderone reports that right-wing talker Glenn Beck is leaving CNN and joining Fox News. “Beginning next spring, Beck will host FOX News Channel’s (FNC) 5 PM/ET weekday program as well as a weekend show on the network,” a Fox News statement says. Fox News’s Roger Ailes remarked, “As we embark on a new political landscape, Glenn’s thought provoking commentary will complement an already stellar line-up of stars at FOX News.” Check out some of Beck’s worst moments here.

    Perfect.

Now I know I’ll never run across that giant well-scrubbed baby again.

This is great . . . for CNN. Glad they traded this bad boy off. Hope they got lots of cash and a couple first-round draft picks.

Lots of changes over there at FoxSnooze. Brit Hume is retiring at year-end but will be a “senior statesman” for 100 days a year . . . the other 265, he will just plain be drunk on his ass, I guess.

I wonder if Fox is making room for that great objective journalist, Little Seannie Hannity, to move directly into its “news” operations.

Hahahahahaha! Rats ALWAYS find their way to the nearest sewer.

NOTE: I apologize to any rats or sewers who are offended by my an@logy.

The sewer aquires another turd. Same smell as ever.

CNN sees the writing on the wall… time to clean house…

  8. paleolib says:

Great news. That almost makes CNN something akin to a news organization again. Also one step closer to congregating all the nutters on Fox where they belong.

  9. techsong says:

That’s where he belongs. Good riddance

  10. Willy says:

It’s good that so many of the right-wing newscasters move to Fox News. That way there’s only one channel that I need to avoid.

(I hope Lou Dobbs is next. He pretends to be an independent, but he’s really a far right-winger.)

Agreed. We’re sending them all to FoxSnooze so we can fight/ignore them over there instead of fighting/ignoring them all over the place.

  12. tom says:

Lou Dobbs, Johnny McNumbNuts . . . separated at birth.

  13. 5th Estate says:

And I assume its the only way Beck can improve his ratings.

  14. pete says:

I wonder if FAUX will have a job for Bible Spice when her disastrous run for VP convinces the fine people of Alaska to give her the boot.

  15. gummitch says:

Beck added, “I am thrilled and profoundly humbled to have the chance to bring my program to FOX News. Expanding my audience is exciting, but I’m really looking forward to joining Mr. Ailes and his world-class team.”

world-class team of thugs.” Fixed it for ya, Glenn.

CNN will probably replace Beck with Coulter. For, you know, balance.

  16. Cappy says:

About freakin’ time. He was MADE for FOX news. I mean literally made…as in some underground cloning (clowning) lab where they combined the DNA of Bill O’Riley, Sean Hannity, and some kind of slime mold. (my apologies to slime molds everywhere)

  17. Cappy says:

“…will complement an already stellar line-up of stars at FOX News.”

    Stars? More like black holes.

  23. pete says:

I don’t think so, lurker. I think it’s more likely that the other FAUX bimbos will return to their natural hair color as part of the “rebranding” of all things GOP.

  24. Buckie Boy says:

Well, just maybe all those EMails about not watching CNN because of that POS made them not re-up his contract…

….I still won’t watch CNN because they had that FASCIST on their channel for even a second.

Really you know little glen beck it thrilled to beable to take part in the faux news circle jerk wonder if he will get upset that when mann coulter comes by she will be the biggest D*ck in that cicle..I wonder if little dicky morris will ask him if he wants a free toe suck

  26. fletc3her says:

Ugh. Maybe I can start watching CNN again. Although the whole Glenn Beck episode has soured me on their entire network somewhat. They come across like Fox lite.

  29. EugeneDebs says:

Did Ailes really say Glenns thought provoking commentary???? Are you freaking kidding me? The man is retarded. He even gives stupid a bad name. I suspect he is Daryll

    PEE-YOOK!!!

If Beck has to work then let if be for Fox. We need all of these whackos in one place; that way we can keep an eye on them.

This is great news! Now that we’ve got them all in one place, it’ll easier to avoid them. FAUX News is now the wingnut concentration camp of cable TV.

  43. JaneaneTheAcerbicGoblin says:

I guess CNN finally noticed that no one is watching Beck’s show, despite CNN’s constant promotion of it.

Beck and Fox “News” is a great matchup. Both willfully ignorant and stupid.

Moving Beck to Fox will drop the collective IQ of the Clinton News Network by about 90%

You mean raise the level of journalistic integrity which has been nonexistent during Beck’s show, right??? Glenn Beck is not a journalist, far from it. He’s a right wing hack who goes not on facts and credible sources but on any one of the many conservative talking points which have been disseminated as containing factual inaccuracies. Keep watching Fox, you’re IQ may drop even more.

  51. tomazulob says:

Another in a long line of reasons to ignore Fox.
