The amazing part of this is that the GOP is still laboring under the delusion that Kristol has even the foggiest notion of what he’s talking about. This guy has been spectacularly wrong on just about every major issue of the last eight years. The New York Times has been forced to issue multiple corrections due to his cluelessness, and yet the GOP, for some mystifying reason, still values his idiotic opinions.

William Kristol is part of a class of people, who no matter how badly they perform, they still don’t fail. If most folks did their jobs in this fashion, even if you work at McDonalds, they would be fired.

I believe that no one – not anyone even somewhat qualified for the GOOP ticket would have accepted the ticket with McBush – it is a losing game and losing tickets don’t go well the next go around. Failin McPalin is toast and everyone knows it but herself. The debate last night with Obama and McBush answering about the qualifications of their VP choices were quite obvious about the faith that each candidate had about their choices. McBush lost; Obama won (on that question alone).

This is pure nonsense. Kristol is always right about everything, Palin’s doing great, and the McCain campaign should continue to take his advice because he’s so gosh-darned brilliant.

As a matter of fact, his recent advice to fire the entire campaign and go it alone – or even better, appoint Kristol as your new manager! – is just such a wild and crazy hail-Mary game-changer, that it’s sure to coast McCain into the White House with ease. I think you neocons have finally pissed off whatever is left of the actual true Republicans. And are you the only folks on the planet that can’t see what a total disaster she is, politically?

She did a great service to us all, in a way. She was so blatantly unfit, so abysmally unprepared, that despite her political skills, it has woke up a lot of formerly complacent voters, and opened their eyes to the cynical fact that all that matters to you neocons is allegiance to your agenda, and not quality or qualifications.

No Republican who sincerely cares two whits about their party anymore, is going to let Ms. Palin anywhere near a national elected office. She is poisoned forever as unelectable.

If true, I think its terrific news that Palin is being groomed by the neo-cons to be their standard-bearer the next time. You think Hillary’s negatives were bad? You only get one chance to make a first impression. Palin made a terrific first impression with the wing-nuttery, but the rest of the country has made up their mind, too. A toxic one-trick pony. I hope they ride her right off the cliff in 2012.

Even, even staunch republican friends are scared to think of Palin taking over the Presidency when Mccain keels over. Or worse goes into senility. How much stress can a 72 year old man after two years of constant campaigning take ? Of course maybe the people behind the scenes are hoping for that so they can pull the strings.
Palin is worse than incompetent because she thinks she knows everything and takes no direction.

I wonder if they’ll appoint Cheney to her VP selection committee and then he will find himself to be the most qualified and we can start the puppet master routine all over again. I think Palin is more dangerous than Bush. Bush seemed willing to be pushed around a bit. Palin is pathologically narcissistic and believes herself to be entitled to do pretty much whatever she wants. She already, supposedly, is blaming McCain for ruining her chances at national office. There’s gratitude for you.
