On Bill Bennett’s radio show this morning, McCain campaign manager Rick Davis claimed that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin drives “liberal feminists” crazy because “she’s a conservative Republican” who is “raising five kids” while serving as governor. Davis then agreed when Bennett suggested that what drives feminists “more crazy” is that Palin is “very attractive,” “very competent,” and “very happy”:
BENNETT: I don’t know which drives them more crazy. Let me give you three things that I think drives them crazy, and you don’t have to comment. That’s she’s very attractive. That she’s very competent or that she’s very happy. You know, as a human being.
DAVIS: Yeah, all of the above.

She is touted as "attractive", and I suppose her looks are good enough that she doesn't scare animals and small children, but I measure attractiveness a different way. Saying hateful things about others just for the sake of saying hateful things is truly unattractive.
And it's not Palin's competence that drives me crazy -- it's her lack of competence. She doesn't possess anything close to the minimum amount of knowledge needed for the job she aspires to, and she's so far out of her league that even loyal Republicans are finally admitting it.
If she's happy, that doesn't drive me crazy. I really do prefer that people be happy, and if she's content, that's fine.
I suspect that Rick Davis just doesn't know us "liberal feminists" very well.

First of all, she didn't in any way belittle his imprisonment and didn't "attack" his war record. Where did you get the false information that he was the only one responsible for the design? He, myself, and a few others worked on the design but even that, neither of us is the architect of record. Firms like ours have principals-in-charge (PIC) who sign the drawings only because they hold the liscense in the state in which the project is built, i.e. they pay the fee to maintain it and from a legal stand point it's necessary. If it were built in Texas he or I would sign the drawings depending on who is the project architect.
BTW how did you come across his name anyway? You must have snooped hard.
