Actually, I think it was the other way around..

McCain’s September payments of $8,672.55 to “American Idol” make-up artist Tifanie White, who has also worked on the reality dance show “So You Think You Can Dance,” are a drop in the bucket on the campaign’s beautification front compared to the GOP vice presidential nominee.

The Sleuth has learned that Palin’s high-paid traveling make-up artist is Amy Strozzi, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work as head of makeup on “So You Think You Can Dance.” Strozzi was paid $13,200 by the McCain-Palin campaign last month alone, according to the campaign’s latest financial disclosure report filed this week.

Remember the complaints of John Edwards and his hair cut ? How the repugs ran ads criticizing that ?

Can we see an ad: John McCain flies in a special makeup artist who spends 3 hours making him presentable. And still you can see his evil smirk through the makeup.

So how much of this spending spree on narcissism are considered gifts and subject to taxation? I know the hauling the kids around was not reported by Palin as income though many tax experts conclude otherwise. This is well beyond the “customary” threshold one would think.

Hell, we know that Senator McCain and Governor Palin are truly one of us. Hell, I spent $8672.55 on books just yesterday and I’m sure that we all have $8672.55 to blow away on petty things. Besides, this just shows how ELITIST Obama truly is, because he doesn’t need to spend this much to look presidential.

McCain/Palin: such candidates of the people that they HAVE to spend this much to keep up with the Obamas…
