During an event in San Francisco Tuesday morning, a protester tried to “smack handcuffs on Karl Rove, but Rove slapped back, and the woman was taken off stage.” Watch it:
When Rove complained of negative campaign tactics by Democrats, his co-panelist — former Sen. Majority Leader George Mitchell — quipped, “I have to say, I feel like Dorothy in the Land of Oz hearing you lecture about negative campaigns by others.”
Rove truly has been one in a million. I think he might actually be behind the whole Obama’s not elgible to be president/where’s his birth certificate rumor that’s going around the Internet.

The master of the whisper campaign. Rumors travel in America seemingly as fast as the speed of light. So Karl had better reformat that hard drive to military standards so as to clean away all that kiddie porn and the Jeff Gannon late night visits to the White House.
October 22nd, 2008 at 12:52 amHe’s going to have to learn some martial arts – it looks like he’s going to have to defend himself from citizen’s arrests for the foreseeable future.
October 22nd, 2008 at 12:53 amHe reacted like the vermin that he is.
October 22nd, 2008 at 12:55 amThe protesters should have rushed the stage and facilitated the arrest. We, the people, should make it unsafe for Rove to show is face in public.
October 22nd, 2008 at 12:58 amGeorge Mitchell — quipped, “I have to say, I feel like Dorothy in the Land of Oz hearing you lecture about negative campaigns by others.”
Mitchell’s retort was priceless – probably startled karl for a second.
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:04 amI was there. She would have hadcuffed herself to him, but she stood there for a second too long. Rove preached to the choir with his usual talking points. He got very upset when the Senator brought up the Carolina rumor and implied that it was rove’s deal. Mitchell aws pure class in a very unfreindly environment. He was getting applause here and there by thge end of the presentation.

R E M E M B E R:
John Conyers decided to NOT push a House vote of contempt…
… I guess if John Conyers is the House Judiciary Chairman, you CAN tell him to F’off when he subpoenas you because as we are witness, and the NSA as my witness, John Conyers is …
IMPOTENT!!!
.
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:32 amIf she had succeeded no doubt they would have beat her. Good for her!! Hope she’s not wound up in some interrogation room of the White House getting waterboarded.
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:33 amI’ve never been so proud to be a Californian. Keep up the good work!
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:36 amGood for the woman to slap the handcuffs on Tubby McTreason Rove. Somebody got to do it since the HJC can’t get this criminal frogmarched to the pokey.
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:53 amGeorge Mitchell’s response to Rove was fantastic! It is one of those quotes that is memorable.
October 22nd, 2008 at 2:19 amThat whole scene was hilarious. I love it. Imagine rove wanting to have his kids or family around for that humiliating experience.
He has finally been relegated to being the fool that he is.
The whole thing just made my day. Ya.
October 22nd, 2008 at 2:27 amRove will never be permitted to fade back into decent society. He is the OJ Simpson of politics, and he’ll wind up dead or in jail at some point.
OT, but have to share this. Here’s Joe the NotaPlumber on Hannity, sharing that he, and his parents, had been on welfare “a coupla times”.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnK84mM5N-o
Amazing how Sean just glosses over that little fact.
So, Joe admits he’d get a tax cut under Obama’s plan, but still resents paying taxes? Because taxes might wind up going to… welfare? “I got mine, go get your own” – The GOP motto.
You can’t make this stuff up!
PEACE
October 22nd, 2008 at 2:32 amThe patriotic woman who attempted a citizen’s arrest of the traitor Karl Rove deserves a Medal of Freedom.
Karl Rove is a cancer on our democracy, just as Dick Cheney is, just as George W. Bush is, just as so many other Republicans are, but Rove, Cheney and Bush participated in (if not orchestrated) the outing of a super-secret covert CIA agent, Valerie Plame Wilson, so should have been hauled off in handcuffs a long time ago.
October 22nd, 2008 at 3:30 amin most jurisdictions a private citizen is entitled to arrest a person if they are in fact guilty of the crime the person is trying to arrest them for. I dont know how this defense would work in practice, but it seems that if they try and press charges against this lady, she would be entitled to introduce evidence (including questioning witnesses) in her defense to prove that rove is guilty.
So folks…consult an attorney, then if he tells you that your state follows the common law rule for citizen’s arrest, then arrest away..you might get charged but you might be able to bring up some pretty interesting stuff in the trial…
October 22nd, 2008 at 3:37 amshe should have handcuffed herself first, then attached the other to him…then they wouldnt just have been able to drag her off..
October 22nd, 2008 at 3:41 amconyers, pelosi. shameful.
October 22nd, 2008 at 3:53 amChocolate Jesus beat me to the punch, but yes, that would have been a much better tactic. It’s amazing how the ’system’ originally built to protect and serve its citizens is now the system the protects and serves the government of elite. And kudos to a Californian woman representing!
October 22nd, 2008 at 4:11 amI can’t have enough disgust for that pig faced bastard.
(No offense meant to the pig species in general)

October 22nd, 2008 at 4:23 amThe regulations Carl is talking about began to be eliminated by Newt and the boys when the Republicans took over Congress. The media, in general, didn’t seem very concerned. It took only twelve years for deregulation to destroy our economy. The Republicans wanted deregulation and taxes cut for the rich. They got it. By their own measure the economy should be doing swimmingly now.
October 22nd, 2008 at 4:41 am“Depends.”
Every time I hear that word it reminds me of a skit I saw somewhere…
George: I depend on leaks.
October 22nd, 2008 at 4:56 amLaura: I leak on Depends.
Oh how I wish that woman was a serious maniac. These headlines would be a lot different today!
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:07 amKarl slaps a woman, big man? Just go away, go away-away.
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:41 amshe should have had a billy club, smacked the fat beyotch senseless with it for resisting arrest, then slapped the cuffs on him.
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:43 amKudo’s to you ladies!!! And that is why I just love San Francisco…my all time favorite city. Just sorry I wasn’t a part of the audience to witness such a wonderful moment. “Depends” vs. “Terrorist, Traitor,”! Hmmmmm…Carl and the rest of the Repub. campaign just don’t get it. But then it’s hard to teach mentally challanged moron dogs new tricks! I am soooo very proud of California. Awesome.
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:55 amI’m proud of California too. Doubly so if Prop 8 goes down in flames.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:15 amThat woman has more guts than all the congressional Democrats combined!
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:25 amHe probably also bought some property in Paraguay along with Bush–most likely because there is no extradition. Can’t wait till Obama wins and people start DEMANDING Rove go on trial for war crimes.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:45 am#21, Arctic Ghetto: except people are inherently greedy.
greed is endemic of a capitalist society.
we treat the symptom of greed with regulation, and that typically works: our trade is regulated.
however when you take away the regulation, add a dishonest money system (central bank) and unfair taxes… well then… hello economic meltdown.
October 22nd, 2008 at 7:26 amDid everyone notice Karl Rove’s wimpy wrist action in the video? Huh. I thought Karl Rove was one of the Kings of the War Party? You’d think he would have been a little bit more manly if you know what I mean.
I guess they duped us there too. The War Party is filled with a bump of limpy wrists. Bah hahahahahahaha!
October 22nd, 2008 at 7:45 amAbout time somebody tried to hold this creep accountable.
http://www.sunstateactivist.org/ssablog/
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:21 amBut even as we take his fingerprints, we should salute Karl for engineering the destruction of the Republican Party. Thanks, big guy!
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:23 amAll I can say is: Get used to it, Karl.
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:29 amOff to a**-raping prison with KKKarl.
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:32 amKKKarl. An arrogant, pompous Pig in the first degree.
A wanted man.
America will NOT forget you, Rove. You have a long and sordid history of demeaning, lying, tricking people and manipulating ‘facts’.
Your day is done, but you must face consequences. I hope you lose sleep over this, knowing it’s just the beginning of the end.
KKKarl, paybacks are definitely a B!TCH…
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:46 amThe Turd Blossom escapes, this time…
October 22nd, 2008 at 9:00 amFolks, if we don’t seeing more accountability, then this is what we can expect. Citizens taking the law into their own hands, if you will. If nothing gives, expect this to eventually get worse and worse. When our laws fail the citizenry, what else to we have but to ourselves to get the job done? This may be the first of a line of defenses our government shouldn’t want to go down.
October 22nd, 2008 at 9:42 amOMG! Wonderful!
Big TOUGH Karl H. R. Puffenstuff Rove
Slaps the mean woman – LIKE A LITTLE GIRL!!!
BwaaaaHaaaaaHaaaa!!
October 22nd, 2008 at 10:43 amKarl says, DON’T TOUCH ME! DON’T TOUCH ME!!!
OMG! I Can’t stop laughing!!
October 22nd, 2008 at 10:45 am“And we’ll go no more a-Rovin’…”
====
October 22nd, 2008 at 10:59 amAwww.. And just when I was beginning to think that since I haven’t heard Rove on the TV lately that he had crawled back under his rock. I’m sorely disappointed.
October 22nd, 2008 at 11:22 amStart Arresting Billionaire CEO’s!
Scare the Scat out of those Bastards!
October 22nd, 2008 at 11:44 amWhy isn’t Rove arrested? If it were any of us you can bet your last buck we would be.
October 22nd, 2008 at 1:26 pmKarl Rove is a brilliant political tactician and the left can only DREAM of having someone half as good.
All the vile attacks he’s been subjected to these past 8 years provide ample evidence of the completely bankrupt ideology of the left in this country.
Nuff said.
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:38 pmPaxil anyone? Hahahahahahahahahahaha
