Report: McCain’s tax plan would have saved the McCains $730,000.

Earlier this year, the Center for American Progress Action Fund calculated that Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) tax plan would have saved his wife Cindy and himself $373,429, based on their 2006 tax returns. Since then, McCain has proposed additional tax cuts and Cindy has released another year of tax returns, so CAPAF re-calculated the McCains’ savings. Now, if McCain’s tax proposals were enacted, he and his wife would have saved $730,000 over 2006 and 2007.

If you make under $250,000 a year and vote for McCain you are an idiot, if you make more than $250,000 a year and for vote McCain you are an a**hole. :-)

Cindy NEEDS more, more, more. Ugly, socialist, poor people shouldn’t have the right to deny her that. Even poor, ugly, Joe the Faker knows that. Anyone who loves Jesus knows in their heart that beautiful Cindy NEEDS more.

And if the Anheuser-Busch sale goes through, Cindy and Johnny will reap ginormous relief from those pesky capital gains taxes.

Obamas made almost as much as McCains, in 2007? Wow!

  7. Keith H. says:

Didn’t she just sell sludge-weiser for a couple gazillion ?
Maybe she could finance the next ‘bail-out’, or was that a ‘rescue’ ?

McCain’s “Country First” campaign is a scam. As we can see, McCain’s tax plan would have cut Obama’s taxes substantially as well, and yet Obama has his own plan. Resulting in a substantial decrease in tax savings for Obama. Which one of these candidate is actually for “Country first,” and which is for “Me first?”

  9. dasm says:

Of course it would; it’s McCain’s plan!

  10. MrSquirrel says:

Well they’ve worked so hard all those years, distributing much needed beer to the citizens. It wouldn’t be fair to redistribute that hard earned wealth!

    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The difference is that Obama is supporting a policy that would RAISE his taxes because he believes it is good for America and with thos Tsunami like debt in the backround McCain is supporting policies that would CUT his by almost three quarters of a million dollars.

NO everyone doesnt need a tax cut. The wealthiest have been getting the lions share of the benefits from all the tax cuts we have gotten since 1980 and we have a 10 TRILLION dollar debt. Its time for THEM to kick back some of the tax cuts they have gotten.

  13. EugeneDebs says:

Yeah I make that much and since I am union I have NEVER had to kiss any butt. I dont know what your site is about but we dont MAKE a salary we get paid by the mile. Those districts like ours that have a long run with a lot of miles make more those with shorter runs make less. At a hundred K a year I would be below the threshold of tax raises but if I had to pay more to address the debt tsunami I would be willing because I can afford to do so. That wouldnt make me resent those who dont pay more because they cant. See I dont WORSHIP Ebeneezer Scrooge. I read the story and realized he wasnt supposed to be a role model

I just cant get over how stupid you are Tracy

“I dont know what your site is about but we dont MAKE a salary we get paid by the mile.”

Oh, you are a service conductor not a yardmaster. Why didn’t you say that?
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I DID moron. I said I was a conductor for the BNSF railroad. What part of I AM A CONDUCTOR did you read as I am a yardmaster? MAN you are stupid.

“At a hundred K a year I would be below the threshold of tax raises but if I had to pay more to address the debt tsunami I would be willing because I can afford to do so.”

Oh, but you wouldn’t pay more unless the government asked you to. I am sure there is a way you could donate more to the feds. I suggest you look into it considering you don’t pay your fair share in taxes.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Typical selfish toad of a conservative talk other people into paying MORE so you can dodge YOUR societal responsibilty. Yeah why not tax social responsibility so you Ebeneezer Scrooge conservatives can take ADVANTAGE of societal investments while not paying YOUR fair share. You are a selfish and ignorant piece of human debris. Maybe you cant try to talk people into paying your electric bill too you selfish punk?
