Apparently, TP’s Ali and a lot of people here either misread the highlighted quote of Andy Card or are so biased against him that they totally can’t see his point: he’s saying that Palin (supposedly) attracted women who didn’t feel comfortable voting for a democrat during the primaries. It’s a debatable point. Is that so hard to understand? Geez.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the Republican Party, or at the very least, the ultra right-wing branch of the Party, doesn’t know how to read.

My grandmother participated in the political process, starting when she was a teenager. She even got arrested for participating in the political process, as did a lot of other women. They were called “suffragettes.”
