I am horrified. I live in New Hampshire. I went to MIT, I saw rich frat-boy Johnny in my classes. He is a waste of an MIT education with his rubber-stamp of Bush’s policies. He votes against issues where the science is clear. I am ashamed to say we went to the same school. I’d vote for The Penguin before I vote for Johnny Sununu.

Between the oil crash, the high cost of American labor and Palin’s increase on oil company taxes in Alaska, “Big Oil” has much less incentive now to expand domestic drilling. I even heard it said on CNBC today that most of the world’s leading oil producers are themselves over-leveraged, so OPEC is unlikely to cut production much more than the 1.5m bpd announced this week, so why would the western oil companies be in any hurry to build new wells in the US when they cost $100m each?
