McCain adviser dismisses evidence of Bush’s Iraq lies as ‘conspiracy theories.’

rkagan.jpg In a recent interview with Der Spiegel, Robert Kagan, a leading member of John McCain’s war cabinet, dismissed wrongdoing by the Bush administration in the run-up to the Iraq war as “conspiracy theories”:

SPIEGEL: Isn’t it true that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld took advantage of the outrage over the 9/11 terrorist attacks to strike Iraq? Is it even possible anymore to deny that the war was based on manipulation, exaggeration and flat-out lies? [...]

KAGAN: In retrospect, we have to admit that Washington could have waited a while longer. That’s a different question. But I think it’s about time we moved beyond this silly conversation and these absurd conspiracy theories.

Matt Duss at the Wonk Room writes, “We can ‘move beyond this silly conversation’ when people like Robert Kagan cease pretending that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Feith, et al were arguing in good faith about the need to invade Iraq, and stop dismissing the overwhelming evidence of their dishonesty as ‘conspiracy theories.’”

F-ing traitor. Kagan must be from the Un-American part of the USA.

People who lie this blatantly need to be arrested & put in prison, to show our children that dishonesty (particularly political dishonesty) has consequences. I’m sick of these liars never being called on their lies, & never being held accountable for them.

  3. jb says:

I don’t think Kagan can even see the truth from where he is. Not qualified to be a toilet cleaner.

  4. ChrisSEA says:

It’s so painfully evident that they lied. It’s been documented over and over (do a google search for 935 lies). How is it possible for this guy to try and pull this over our heads?

I hope Obama investigates the living daylights out of Bush et. al.

  11. Tim Vaculik says:

    Fact #1

In order to lie, a person must know that what they are saying is in fact untrue.

If, as most of you contend, the President lied then had to have known that pre-war intelligence was completely false and unreliable. This was simply not the case and no amount of saying it was doesn’t make it so!

  12. Tim Vaculik says:

The so-called “evidence” that the President knew certain things to be untrue, yet claimed they were true simply doesn’t exist.

If it were, he would have already BEEN IMPEACHED, you morons.

It’s amazing to me how easily some people are fooled!

You folks that are just so certain that you know the REAL truth about the Iraq war, 9-11 etc., etc., are just fools being lead by the nose.

You know next to NOTHING about almost every topic, yet you think you are so smart. It’s almost comical.

  16. Tim Vaculik says:

The notion that the President lied in the months preceding the war requires an absolute suspension of rational thought.

But I guess anything is possible for folks who fervently BELIEVE in something, despite evidence to the contrary.

I read a study not too long ago that examined the thought processes common to people who are prone to believing conspiracy theories. The interesting part was a common attribute of confusing coincidence with causation. In other words, the conspiracy theorists always put together random and disparate occurances in such a way in order to reinforce their already strongly held BELIEFS. They discounted any evidence to the contrary.

Now I’m saying it is the folks that just KNOW there was a conspiracy by the President to go to war that are in a mental state that requires them to REJECT all evidence to the contrary!

Note the pattern: Bush lies are “time we move beyond this silly discussion”.

IN the Veep debate, discussing McCain’s voting record was “There ya go again, bringing up the past rather than looking toward the future”

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What is amazing is you Fascist Bush Idolators are willing to say ANYTHING no matter how stupid to deny reality.

FACT On Sept 7, 2001 Bush said ” I would remind you that when the inspectors were in Iraq, when they were finally denied access (which could only be 1998) an IAEA report came out saying Iraq was six months away from a (nuclear) weapon. (the only kind the IAEA would be involved in writing reports about) THAT WAS A LIE. No such report Bush pulled it directly out of his rectal database. The same place you morons get most of what you post. That was NOT a mistake of intelligence, it was NOT a misinterpretation THERE WAS NO SUCH REPORT as the IAEA reported. There is also the Aluminum tubes. Not ONLY did Bush send 12 reports to congress saying they could ONLY be used for gas centrifuges he did so AFTER RECIEVING THE REPORT FROM OUR SCIENTISTS, the experts in the field who denied it was even PLAUSABLE they would be used that way much less could only be used that way. Three of the top scientists ridiculed the very idea. One saying that while it would techinically be possible to use them that way it was also technically possible to turn his Yugo into a Cadillac. They ALSO sent out Condalizzard Rice to say the anodyzed coating on the tubes PROVED they were for GCs. Except to use them as GCs the ANODYZED COATING WOULD HAVE TO BE REMOVED. OK we GET that you love to be lied to and are brainwashed beyond belief but its just flat out IGNORANT to claim Bush didnt lie about this he DID and its beyond dispute.

YOU are the stupidest poster on the site. Calling US morons is pure projection and more of your abject stupidity. Impeachment is a POLITICAL action and there are other reasons than guilt that are involved in whether or not to impeach. The House PROVED that Reagan violated the Boland amendment. They produce a paper with his signature PROVING he did. This is why he publicly appologized but they didnt impeach NOT because they couldnt or the PROOF of a violation of the law wasnt there but as a political decision that is wasnt worth the public trauma. My GOD you are stupid. You didnt really think that made sense as an argument did you? Hey I can PROVE that Capone had nothing to do with the St Valentine massacre he wasnt imprisoned for it. 40. wearechange says:

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that WTC Building 7 was not hit by an airplane or significant debris on September 11th, that by the afternoon of September 11th there were only a few small fires of unknown origin evident in the building, and yet this building collapsed neatly into its own footprint (through the path of greatest resistence) at virtually “free fall” speed?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that fire has never — prior to 9/11, on 9/11, or after 9/11 — caused any steel frame building to collapse? The official 9/11 narrative posits a fire-initiated, gravity-driven collapse theory for all three WTC buildings.

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that George W. Bush’s brother, Marvin Bush, and his cousin, Wirt Walker III, were principles in the company [Stratesec, formerly named Securacom] that was in charge of security for the World Trade Center, with Walker being the CEO from 1999 until January 2002?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that the Secret Service broke their mandate by allowing President Bush to remain in a well-publicized classroom location long after it was known that the U.S. was under attack and that he may well have been a target?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that unidentified insiders made millions on the stocks of American and United Airlines and those of other corporations that were likewise impacted by the attacks?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that several war games scheduled for the morning of 9/11 involved inserting phantom jets onto RADAR screens as well as exercises which involved hijacked airliners flown into buildings (as reported by credible news sources)?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that the 9 or more war games scheduled for the morning of 9/11 caused enough confusion to make NORAD ask “is this real world or exercise?” when FAA reports came in alerting NORAD to the hijacked airplanes?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that NORAD routinely intercepts aircraft hundreds of times a year but on 9/11 they failed on four separate occasions?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” when NORAD tells us three contradictory stories in an attempt to explain why they were unable to intercept any planes on 9/11?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” when Senator Mark Dayton said in testimony during a Senate Governmental Affairs Committee hearing that NORAD officials “lied”?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that not one single person within the FAA, NORAD, FBI, CIA, etc was fired, demoted, or otherwise reprimanded after the events of 9/11?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that key individuals responsible for preventing the attacks were in fact promoted?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that the Huffman Aviation flight school — where Mohamed Atta and other alleged hijackers trained — had a Lear jet seized by the DEA with “43 pounds of heroin” onboard and there was not one prosecution in connection with the “biggest drug seizure in central Florida history”?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that the FBI’s top Al Qaeda investigator, John O’Neill, “resigned in July of 2001 in protest over the obstruction of terrorist investigations”?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that the Bush administration blocked the formation of the 9/11 Commission for 441 days? Similar investigations, such as those for the first WTC Bombing, the Oklahama City bombing, and Pan Am Flight 103, all started in about one week. (In fact it was “The Jersey Girls” — four courageous 9/11 widows — who finally forced the administration to create the 9/11 Commission and who also presented many penetrating questions… most of which were ignored.)

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that Bush and Cheney agreed to being questioned by the 9/11 commission only on the conditions that they appeared together, without taking oaths, with no family members present, without audio or video taping, and with no records of any kind being kept?

Is it a “conspiracy theory” that on the night of the Sept. 11 attacks, the White House Medical Office dispensed [the anthrax drug] Cipro to staff accompanying Vice President Dick Cheney as he was secreted off to the safety of Camp David… and the public was not warned about anthrax or alerted about Cipro for another six weeks, when anthrax-laden letters were sent through the mail to top Democratic congressmen and to others?

The CIA did NOT believe Iraq tried to get uranium fron Niger when Bush claimed he did having MADE BUSH TAKE THE REFERENCE OUT OF HIS CINCINATTI SPEECH A MONTH EARLIER. Only signing off on his using it in the SOTU speech IF he attributed it to British Intelligence. So he used the tactic of attributing a claim to the British that our CIA would NOT support. 60. Tim Vaculik says:

    EugeneDEbs,

Actually the speech you were referring to was a joint press conference with Tony Blair on September 7, 2002, NOT 2001.

    Here’s some quotes:

    Prime Minister Blair: Thanks.

…The point that I would emphasize to you is that the threat from Saddam Hussein and weapons of mass destruction, chemical, biological, potentially nuclear weapons capability, that threat is real. We only need to look at the report from the International Atomic [Energy] Agency this morning showing what has been going on at the former nuclear weapons sites to realize that.

Note the reference to the supposed NON-EXISTENT IAEA report you so breathlessly reported to me as a FACT earlier.

    The President: AP lady.

Question: Mr. President, can you tell us what conclusive evidence of any nuclear—new evidence you have of nuclear weapons capabilities of Saddam Hussein?

The President: We just heard the prime minister talk about the new report. I would remind you that when the inspectors first went into Iraq and were denied—finally denied access, a report came out of the Atomic—the IAEA that they were six months away from developing a weapon. I don’t know what more evidence we need.

Now, interpretation of the IAEA report can be debated, but what can’t be denied is that there was a report and that it wasn’t just the President who drew certain conclusions from it.

    A lie? I think not!

Timmeh Wilson made an ORAL report to the CIA the person he made the report to would have made the PROPER WRITTEN REPORT and YES it says that it is unlikely that Iraq tried to buy uranium from Niger since the entire Uranium trade IN Niger is under control of an international consortium from mining through shipping and Niger couldnt cough up significant amounts of uranium if they wanted to. Also Iraq already HAD 500 tons of yellowcake. The question is do you EVER know what you are talking about? Or is repeating the nonsense you were TOLD to believe all you can do?

    A lie? I think not!
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A lie ABSOLULTLY here is the difference Blair was talking ONLY about Iraqs history which was reference in the report we are talking about that is 1991. THAT wasnt good enough for Bush who then LIED and tried to say it was in 1998 that they were six months from a nuclear weapon. This is made clear because when the IAEA DENIED the report instead of just clarifying that Bush was wrong they tried to say they meant an IISS article. They did that to KEEP the LIE that in 98 or later Iraq was six months from a nuclear weapon. This is actually another LIE because A) the report came out TWO DAYS AFTER THE STATEMENT, a statement that began I WOULD REMIND YOU. He could not POSSIBLY be reminding them of a report that hadnt come out yet. Bush lied then lied again in order to maintain the lie. ALSO the IISS report did NOT say Iraq was six months from a nuclear weapon but IF THEY COULD GET ENRICHED URANIUM they would be six months away. The thing is since enriched uranium (or plutonium) is the sine qua non of nuclear weaponry that is about like saying IF you gave me the money I could buy a Ferrari. So Bush danced and told FURTHER LIES. This is proof he was lying HAD he just admitted his mistake I wouldnt be calling this a lie. And NO it is NOT open to interpretation of whether or not the IAEA was saying in 98 Iraq was six months from a nuclear weapon and NO Blair did not make the same claim. You DO know that you arent very good at this dont you?

    Mobile labs

    …:
In late January 2003, as Secretary of State Colin Powell prepared to argue the Bush administration’s case against Iraq at the United Nations, veteran CIA officer Tyler Drumheller sat down with a classified draft of Powell’s speech to look for errors. He found a whopper: a claim about mobile biological labs built by Iraq for germ warfare. – Drumheller instantly recognized the source, an Iraqi defector suspected of being mentally unstable and a liar. The CIA officer took his pen, he recounted in an interview, and crossed out the whole paragraph. – A few days later, the lines were back in the speech. Powell stood before the U.N. Security Council on Feb. 5 and said: “We have first-hand descriptions of biological weapons factories on wheels and on rails.”

    ElBruce,

There’s tantalizing circumstancial evidence that Iraq’s stash of WMD’s, particularly of the biologocal and chemical variety, were trucked out of the country in the runup to the war. Syria was the most likely destination.

In fact, there was a plot by a group of terrorists post-war in which they obtained WMD material for an attack inside Jordan. The attack was launched from within Iraq. Problem is, they had no way to get that stuff unless it existed already. Where did it come from?

With respect to the actual existence of pre-war WMD in Iraq. If they didn’t have any, why did they keep saying they did? This came from Saddam as well as his battlefield generals. Our military was convinced they would be used against us in the war.

Bush Lied… COME ON! Tel me another funny one!

    more lies by bush admin

WASHINGTON – With U.S. troops entering their sixth year of combat in Iraq, New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez demanded Saturday that President Bush give an honest assessment of the costs of the conflict.

“The American people are still waiting to hear the straight talk we deserve,” Menendez said in the Democrats’ weekly radio address. “Instead of making more sweeping claims of victory, as he did this week, it’s time for the president to face the reality of the situation we’re in.”

In a speech Wednesday at the Pentagon, Bush said, “The world is better, and the United States of America is safer” because of the war.

“No one would argue that this war has not come at a high cost in lives and treasure,” Bush said. “But those costs are necessary when we consider the cost of a strategic victory for our enemies in Iraq.”

Menendez responded, “President Bush should tell us the truth — that after thousands of lives lost and perhaps trillions of American taxpayer dollars, Iraq remains crippled by violence and corruption, still light-years from building a stable government or a lasting peace.”

The senator argued that the war “has severely depleted the resources and morale of our armed forces” and said Bush should acknowledge “that because of Iraq, we haven’t finished the job in Afghanistan, al-Qaida is regrouping and our hunt for America’s No. 1 enemy — Osama bin Laden — has been compromised.”

Menendez also linked the cost of the war to the United States’ faltering economy. “Instead of building barracks in Iraq, we could be helping millions of Americans avoid losing their homes to foreclosure,” he said. “Instead of policing the streets of Baghdad, we could be investing in universal health care and a better education system.”

    2) NEVER POSED AN IMMINENT THREAT TO THE USA
    3) DID NOT POSSES KNOW QUANTITIES OF WMD’S

The fact that the Bush Administration is being let off scott free of ANY(!) consequential accountability for their needless and senseless war of aggression only gives permission for the radical Republicans to scapegoat the egregious atrocities wrought by the Bush maladministration upon dissenters and outraged people world wide as “NUTTY” conspiracy theorists.

More so, that CONgress refuses to hold the Bush Administration accountable for setting the stage for a rise in Al-CIA-DUH recruiting and civil unrest in the region, CONgress should ALSO be held culpable for the continuance of the WAR CRIMES that have been perpetrated in America’s name.

  155. ChrisSEA says:

Keith, AT THE VERY LEAST, Bush et al, should have been canned long ago for SHEER INCOMPETENCE.

Again, whether Bush lied or not is less of an issue with me (ok, it is a BIG deal). It’s the fact that he’s just INCOMPETENT. Truly, how many people would have kept their jobs if they made one MASSIVE mistake after another, year after year after year.

Oh, and let’s not forget that ALL the Republicans (and thus McCain) have to offer is THE SURGE! That’s it. That’s all they have. Obama was right in calling him out on the fact that there were year of bungled and mismanaged war (that Bush started) before they stumbled on this particular tactic.

  156. Keith says:

“trying to acquire uranium from Africa” was known to be a bad forgery 11 months before Bush said it in the SOTU. Ditto “the aluminum tubes”. Curveball was known to be lying before Powell’s speech in the UN based solely on his testimoney.

    Fact #1

In order to lie, a person must know that what they are saying is in fact untrue.

If, as most of you contend, the President lied then had to have known that pre-war intelligence was completely false and unreliable. This was simply not the case and no amount of saying it was doesn’t make it so!

Tim first of all you should stop talking long enough for someone else to say something. Second after 935 assertions that turned out to be not true makes GW Bush look like an uninformed uneducated Turdblossom if his staff could fool him 935 times.

Get a friggin real arguement will ya. All you are doing is shifting the assertion he lied over to an assertion he was an IDIOT> Both of which happen to be true.

Remember which Ahole ignored the GOOD intelligence about Al-Qaeda attacking inside the US. God who woul;d have thunk that would happen.

First off get a memory. Second make a decent arguement.

    sacopenapa Says:

    9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!

Ok this is way off topic but I have had enough of these windbag pyote dreams.

Bullpucky. 9/11 was the direct result of stupidity, lack of common sense, a sense of entitlement, poor judgement, an inability to read, and lack of education.

The Bush administartion was and still is too stupid to have put together something like that. Also if it were true we would have heard something about it by now given all the chickenhawks bailing ship and ratting on GW and his dishonest crew. Just think Scott McClellan for a second.

Want a real possibility for 9/11 try this:

In 1993 Al-Qaeda tried to topple the WTC Tower one over onto Tower two. The tried to blow out the supporting beam structure to make it fall over side ways. They were also hoping to knock over tower two. I don’t think it takes too much intelligence to determine that Al-Qaeda might try this again. It also doesn’t take much intelligence to think we just dodged a bullet and we need to do something about it right now so we are prepared in case they manage to pull this off again. DO YOU REALLY THINK NOONE NOTICED THE KIND OF DAMAGE THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN IF THE TWO TOWERS FELL OVER SIDEWAYS AND DESTROYED HALF OF DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN. If you do you are as simple as GW was!

So what would be the logical result. The best thing you can do to stop two 110 story towers from falling sideways is to demolish them under control and have them fall in their own footprint. Sound familiar? Watch the CNN tapes. The first tower starts to fall sideways and then the bottom falls out from it.

Take an overhead scale view of downtown Manhattan and superimpose a 110 story building, lying on it’s side across downtown Manhattan. Then do it a second time for the other tower. Now add all the people in the WTC tower and all the NYC citizens in all the streets and buildings across lower Manhattan. And that doesn’t take in to account the lose of businesses and having downtown Manhattan shut down for moths and maybe years! How much of a financial catastrophe would that have caused.

Now do you not think that it makes sense that they set those two buildings up for controlled demolition just based on that information alone. David Ray Griffin, for such an educated person, cannot see the forest for the trees.

It is better to sacrifice 3500 to save 10,000 more. And as bad as that sounds put yourself in the position of having to make that call and see if you would! That is what the government does. Makes hard ugly decisions about who lives or dies. It’s just a shame that that decision came from the stupidity of the turdblossom in chief.

I have plenty more common sense debunks for this crap and the official conspiracy theory. The government doesn’t want to cop to any of this because they think you will hate them for it and they will lose power plain and simple.

Now get over the stupid INSIDE JOB idiot theory. GW and his Admin got caught with their pants down, by Al-Qaeda, plain and simple. Then they did what they had to do to minimize the casualties. Then they lied there asses off about what they did in order to hold power. And that disinformation is why YOU THINK THE US GOVERNMENT ATTACKED ITS OWN COUTRY AND CITIZENS.

Sounds a lot more common sense than the US government planning and perpetrating this whole thing.

Get a grip and think clearly.

OK, this is an interesting theory, and one I haven’t heard before — that the WTC was preset for controlled demolition just in case something like this would happen.

If your theory is true, this means that for years, the WTC was wired with explosives, “just in case”. Presumably, any other building or structure that terrorists may have their eye on is also wired with explosives — the Empire State Building, the Sears Tower, etc. This would create a significant hazard for those who occupy these buildings — surely the fire departments in these areas aren’t happy about this (and it would be hard to keep this a secret from them, since they inspect these buildings regularly). Furthermore, the possibility of having any of these explosives go off accidentally is pretty significant. Can you imagine the PR nightmare as the questions rise about why demolition explosives are detonating in our skyscrapers?

Also, who made the decision to kill 3,000 to save 10,000? Such a decision — especially when our nation is under attack — would be made by the POTUS. And we saw that Bush was staring glassy-eyed in an elementary school classroom holding a copy of “My Pet Goat”.

  165. nofltwlt says:

Kagan while seeming to dismiss this “conspiracy theory” is actually ignoring his complicity in taking our nation to a war of choice in Iraq.

    upnorth Says:
Now do you not think that it makes sense that they set those two buildings up for controlled demolition just based on that information alone. David Ray Griffin, for such an educated person, cannot see the forest for the trees.

NOT yelling at you, here, but the implication is either as
misshusseinmolly said above (the buildings were pre-set with demolitions to take them down): which is pretty insane, and in itself would be a HUGE security flaw. Or you propose that in a very, very short time after the first strike that demolitions were brought into each building and set. The problem with the second scenerio is that to properly calculate and set demolitions to bring down such buildings it takes considerable time to plan and to properly set such demolitions. Up to weeks to plan such an event, and at least days to set the charges.

Now, full-blown “inside job” or complicit ignorance (ala Pearl Harbor), one or the other must be true. Far too many things had to go WRONG for this to have happened as it did.

To claim that the series of events that allowed this were “just an unfortunate series of coincidences” is actually much more difficult to believe than that there was some measure of inside complicity to the atacks which aided them in succeeding. And it is certainly NO MORE a stretch of the imagination to believe that these events were orchestrated than to believe that such a ludicrous series of coincidental failures occurred at PRECISELY the right moment to allow these attacks to succeed. Really.

  167. CageyCretin says:

And the convenient use of “conspiracy theory” as a bad thing — there has been a huge push to make any thought or use of “conspiracy theory” to mean “lunatic fringe”. Which is not true. There are and have been conspiracies. It is an actual legal term, and an actual crime. You can be charged with “conspiracy”. It is not automatically a brand of the lunatic and untruth. Those who conspire on very large scales would like for everyone to maintain the assosciation that “conspiracy theory” = “raving of a lunatic”.

  170. ctcadguy says:

The Bush Administration biggest lie and perhaps biggest crime centers on the fact that 911 and the Anthrax attack was obviously an inside job and a poorly executed one at that.

The reason why half this country does not believe 19 arab young men learned how to fly airliners, took over 4 aircraft with nothing but box cutters, successfully attacked 3 out of 4 targets in the most heavily defended airspace on the face of the earth with no help from the ground defeating the FBI, CIA, Law Enforcement, Norad and the US Air Force is that the story is unbelievable.

Further, 3 steel frame buildings completely collapsing into their own footprints at free fall speeds due to fire goes against fundamental laws of physics. Fire has never done this to a steel framed building ever yet we are to believe it happened three times on 911. Hell, one of the buildings, tower 7 was never hit by an aircraft.

When the government releases the extensive tape of the so called airliner hitting the Pentagon then maybe I will start believing the Bush administration. Go to the video and pictures that day and ask yourself where is the wreckage? Where are the engines, bodies and why was the hole in the side of the building so small?

We now know the Anthrax sent to the Liberal Senators and liberal news stations came from a US lab and not Al Queda.

Me thinks it is time to investigate this war criminal administration and their involvement in the most horriffic crime in the history of this country.

We alrady know the lied about Iraq, yellow cake, and outing a US spy.

Bush supporters or so called trolls or Dittoheads have been hypnotised by hate radio and need to be de-programmed by exposing to them the real truth.

    Re-Investigate 911!

  171. ctcadguy says:

The last post ends with re-investigate 911. I should have said investigate 911.

Most people do not realize the 911 Comission was never tasked to find out who did it. They were tasked to come-up with ways to fix the system from ever letting it happen again.

I should have said it is time to finally investigate the biggest crime in U.S. history.

Sure is interesting that Salman Pak would be a facility used for counter-terrorism when the people using it were NON-IRAQI’s (read terrorists) training to take over aircraft with box cutters! The facility was top-secret and staffed by Iraqis, but the Iraqis WERE NOT training there.

    You make me laugh.

As far as Mohammed Atta’s meeting in Prague is concerned, the Czechs stand by their intelligence and assert that the meeting did indeed take place. If memory serves me, the 9-11 commission language didn’t deny it, just said there wasn’t enough evidence to say it happened with 100% certainty.

Again, I get a lot of chuckles reading your posts.
