Just how well does it work out when a so-called maverick picks another so-called maverick for a running mate. Does the second maverick become too mavericky? Maybe John McCain should have consulted his dictionary first. Maverick: an independent individual who refuses to conform with his group. OOPS!

I found it a little strange, during the Brian Williams interview, when Palin (sitting right next to John McCain) held forth on what SHE was going to do when “I am in the White House”. I didn’t know whether to infer that McCain wasn’t long for this world (”whack job” or otherwise), or if she really thought she and the five kids would actually be living with John & Cindy.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow noted Palin’s word choice: “Your camps, plural? A McCain camp and a Palin camp? That does not sound good.”

Yeah, that jumped out at me, too. More evidence of the incoherence of the McPalin campaign. Can you imagine a comment like that from Cheney?
