After whining, Fox’s Megyn Kelly finally gets her interview with Palin.
On Monday, Fox News host Megyn Kelly complained that Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) “has yet to do any Fox daytime. She has not gone on this broadcast. She hasn’t gone on Fox and Friends. She hasn’t done Brit Hume’s show. She hasn’t done O’Reilly.” Kelly’s wish is apparently the McCain campaign’s command: Palin has now agreed to sit for an interview that will air next Monday at 9 a.m.
Meanwhile, Palin will appear on Fox’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” tonight. Palin’s interview with Kelly will be her seventh on Fox News (though Bill O’Reilly is still complaining that she has yet to come on his show).

October 31st, 2008 at 11:44 amThe photo of Sarah Palin on the official McCain campaign site (http://www.johnmccain.com/) is from her official Governor’s portrait(http://gov.state.ak.us/official_portraits.php). My understanding is that it is against Alaska state law to use this photo for campaigning purposes. I did notice that they added a line to the effect that it was okay if she or her Lt Gov gave permission, but I am unsure if the law allows them to make exceptions to this. Besides that, what they did add clearly states that credit must be given to the photographer, and it does not appear the McCain campaign has done that.

October 31st, 2008 at 11:49 amTP — I don’t know if you realize this, but you just used the word “whine” to describe Kelly’s displeasure at not getting a Palin interview, and you used “complain” to describe pretty much the same feeling from O’Reilly.
While I’m sure you don’t mean to be sexist, it’s coming across that way. Let’s not suggest that a woman’s complaint is “whining” and a man’s complaint is not.

Kelly: Governor Palin, John McCain was a POW which is instant qualification for the title of Commander in Chief and is therefore more likely to lead America to victory in Iraq. Do you believe Barack Obama’s cozy ties to the Muslim Iraqi terrorists who attacked us 9/11 would hinder his ability to lead America to a great and resounding victory in Iraq?

Wow, talk about a brain trust, a true think tank. I here that they won’t allow Elisabeth Hasselbeck to be there, unfortunately. It seems Homeland Security has deemed it too great a security risk for the US if our top three geniuses were in the same room at the same time. God forbid if something were to happen, this nation would be truly lost! Too bad for O’Lielly, maybe Rupert will let Bill and Shawn onto Kelly’s set after the interview for a chair sniffing session. It took FOX a long time to clean up their bed bug infestation. Now they’ll need a good exterminator to extinguish all of teh stoopid cooties left lying around after this, what is sure to be a monumental, game changing interview!
