In the final debate, Bob Schieffer asked McCain this very question. This went completely unnoticed by the media afterwards. When asked if he could balance the budget by the end of his first term, McCain replied very quietly almost in passing: “Sure” and then pivoted very quickly and SURPRISE, SURPRISE, started attacking Senator Obama. Schieffer failed to follow up to nail him down on this answer. That “biased liberal media” was at it again!

It’s called out right lying for votes. Sarah knows what she’s doing and using as many people as possible that will believe her lies. Look Sarah was trained by Uncle Ted Stevens a now convicted felon who says it was his twin brother Chuck in the court room. Now notice how Uncle Ted has the art of lying in your face, that’s what he taught Sarah to do. She knows it’s over and will milk this for all it’s worth. The RNC better check on the 5 million dollar fund raiser Sarah is doing as it’s First Dude Todd collecting the cash and will pocket as much as possible. It’s the old switch and bait, Todd collects 6 million in cash but gives the RNC 250,000. Yes Sarah and Todd learned the lesson of Uncle Ted very well.

I did say both. I said “So, if you support McCain and Palin, then you support government with neither integrity nor intelligence.” That means that they do not have integrity and they do not have intelligence. Or, to put it another way, they have neither integrity nor intelligence.

And, as much as I didn’t intend it this way, it could also be interpreted as saying that if you support McCain/Palin, then you are doing so with neither integrity nor intelligence.

Let’s check out Scary Sarah’s track record of “balancing the budget.” When she was Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, she ran up a record City budget deficit, and when she left, Wasilla had many millions of dollars of debt, some $22,000,000 or $30,000,000, I am not sure of the exact amount. (For a city of only 10,000 residents, too). A visit to mudflats.wordpress.com or a google search should provide the exact number. The words of Scary Sarah are not to be trusted…

In fairness. I am not sure there are anymore. I think they may be just trying to save face. I have met no one in the last 2 to 3 weeks that defends her. But, considering the fact that the Republicans are trying desperately to poison the well with Obama, I think that even in safe states we need everyone to vote for Obama. And if the Palin rally they were just showing on MSNBC was live, then she repeated this balanced-budget-in-our-first-term lie again, not five minutes ago. And it is a lie, because it cannot be done and maintain the wars they both want to have going. Either they know this is a lie, which calls into question their integrity, or they don’t understand it’s a lie, which calls into question their intelligence.

So, if you support McCain and Palin, then you support government with neither integrity nor intelligence.
