I’m glad Crist didn’t make it on the ticket:

1. I like Crist, he seems like a smart, decent guy. I don’t want the Republicans to win and he would have helped guarantee a Florida win.

Sorry for the O/T but news has just hit the wire that Senator McCain is suspending his campaign again! It seems the GOP is nervous about the pending tsunami about to hit America tomorrow. News agencies are calling it “the Obama ‘08 Tsunami” and all hardcore Republicans are being advised to stay indoors tomorrow until further instructions are posted. The storm is expected to effect the entire Nation and is expected to subside some time after 8p.m. pacific time tomorrow nigth. Hardcore republicans may want to continue hunkering down for at least a day or two after the storm due to anticipated dancing in the streets all around the free world. They are also being advised to not watch television from late November 4th through the 5th as psychiatric professionals have determined that this can cause severe depression and anxiety. These complexes may be unavoidable in most circumstances, particularly among neo-conservatives and christian fundamentalists and are expected to last through the forseeable future. Now back to your regular scheduled entertainment…

NM-1 is close. The Bushevik, Joe-Arpaio-wannabe, Sheriff Darren White is tied with or only just a little behind ‘community organizer’ and peace activist Matrin Heinrich, an “effete” Nob Hiller. White is much beloved by Bush and the rest of the Pukes. The ABQ Urinal, the local fish-wrap, endorsed McShameful and White (a “lawman”). I think the margin’s pretty close now between White and Heinrich, though the D has an advantage outside the MOE.
Interesting: “A total of 192,229 (NM voters) have cast their ballots for the election already, either via in person early voting or returned absentee ballots. That’s right, nearly 200,000 people — or 74 percent of 2004’s total turnout.”
