I kinda miss it when people who wrote books were limited to people who were good at writing books, instead of anybody even remotely famous. It gives a bad name to books.

The idea that anyone would even dare to approach a publisher is laughable. Are “ghosts” waiting in the wings to write it? He could, perhaps, write a book of his philosophies, something like “At Randomness” and it could reach a fair amount of success on the humor shelf.

Another point: would he be writing it from his “retirement” home in Paraguay? He could be truthful about a lot of stuff and not be extradited.

In order not to contradict his actions and policies as president, he would have to dream up a lot more lies. That’s just too must trouble for poor ‘ole Georgie, who has admitted that he’s never been interested in details.

I’ll happily diss Georgie as much as the next guy. But it still seems totally unbelievable that the publishers wouldn’t want a memoir from a president – no matter how deluded and fabricated it is.

There has to be something in the terms that the publishers won’t accept.

May I suggest the title:

History repeats: George Bush and his ancestor President Pierce.

There’s nothing memorable about Bush. What is there to publish about the idiot? I can suggest titles like ‘The un-President’ or ‘The Un-Elected President’ or how about ‘A Chimp in the Mist’? ‘Illegitimate War Criminal President’ all these titles fit the idiot’s legacy.

When the first draft was received, it was full of fart jokes and titty doodles in the margins.

Doesn’t bode well for Bush’s “legacyerating”. Our future, however, is looking better every day.
