It seemed to me years ago a fact that while debating Jason Hendler or Exley , 2 of our best trolls here in the past , they could twist facts and figures to form a good argument ,the moment the ethics or morality of their propositions was attacked , they retreated .
It must be difficult using the supposed Christian right as a wedge issue . They simultaneously had to defend the ideas of Milton Friedman and , unchecked self interest and militarism , as well as good Christian values ?
Someone needs to explain the message of Jesus to their constituency !

Not just that, but he did a good job keeping the campaign and its associates on message. That’s why you rarely if ever saw Obama’s people contradicting each other and themselves like the McCain surrogates.

I do hope that he will indeed be good for the job. Campaign communications director and White House press secretary are very different jobs, and good campaign people don’t always translate into good White House people – think Stephanopoulos.
