In a segment on the future of the GOP leadership published today, the Baltimore Sun puts the wrong picture of a South Asian male for its profile of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. Jindal’s actual picture is on the right:
It’s yet another Divine Miracle! First the Lord showed His will on Tuesday night, now He shows His will by showing the picture of someone intelligent and effective, not Bobby (How to Exorcise At Home) Jindal! Let’s hear it for the Lord, Amen!
Impeach, while There’s Still Time!
He will become the next “sarah palin” for the Repugs …… as soon as people figure out what he REALLY looks like. (Or not)
The GOP has been hot on him for awhile, and he’s certainly smarter and better prepared than Palin. It would be pretty freaky, especially for their “base”, to have one dark guy running against another in 2012. The Appalachian crowd wouldn’t know whether to shit or go blind.
As an Indian woman I say this sincerely – Jindal is an asswipe who belongs to the stone age (even those folks would want to throw him out) and I couldn’t be more shameful of someone who shares my heritage.
LOL, I’m brown and I wouldn’t have noticed unless someone pointed it out. Now that you mention it, the guy on the left has better a better haircut and more eyebrows than Jindal.
The Freepers were pushing a Jindal/Palin or Palin/Jindal 2012 ticket while McCain’s political corpse was still warm. Do we need any more proof that these people are delusional?
Be careful. Do not underestimate this man. Bobby Jindal is a potent force. He has a reputation for getting things done and is pretty popular here in Louisiana. He had bi-partisan support because he has shown himself to be an advocate for the people of Louisiana, no matter what their political affiliation. The best thing that happened for him this year was that he was busy with Hurricane Gustav when the Republican convention was going on. Because of that, he didn’t get roped in to participating in the losing effort, but managed to stay above it all, helping the citizens of his state in a crisis. Make no mistake about it, he is ambitious, personable, smart and popular.
ooops. Or, maybe the Sun decided to have their ‘macaca’ moment.
November 6th, 2008 at 4:17 pmEh, one little brown guy looks just any other little brown guy.

November 6th, 2008 at 4:35 pmSomeone must have said something when they tried to put a picture of Abu from The Simpsons.
November 6th, 2008 at 4:42 pmgummitch,
He was on the short list as the VP pick along with Crist. I think either of them would have been a better choice.
The Repugs ar now running as a headless horse. And you know things are bad when Mitch McConnell is the top dog in the party.
Heh Heh
November 6th, 2008 at 4:48 pmbagdude; or.. a picture of Krusty the Klown.
November 6th, 2008 at 4:51 pmMan, that Jindal looks like a tough, brick-chewing ass-kicker…oh wait, who’s the dude that looks like Alfred E. Newman?
November 6th, 2008 at 4:54 pmI’m pretty sure the photo they used is of Fareed Zakaria, from Newsweek.

November 6th, 2008 at 5:12 pmSeriously, they don’t all “look alike.” Get a clue.
November 6th, 2008 at 5:28 pmDoes Jindal have that bad a deviated septum ?

November 6th, 2008 at 5:51 pmMeh, kinda looks like him if he was 10 years older and 30 pounds heavier. Maybe it’s a picture of Jindal from the future!
November 6th, 2008 at 5:52 pmArgh, we forgot to read the fine print!!! “This is Bobby Jindal and I approve this better looking wrong picture.”
November 6th, 2008 at 6:03 pmJindal’s another know-nothing Flintstone rethuglican who thinks his ancestors walked with dinosaurs.

Why can’t (R)epublicans borrow that (R) for a decent spell checke(R) and p(R)oof (R)eader?
ANSWER:
Because they’re too busy using it for (R)acist, (R)epugnant and (R)egressive ideals.
