McCain and Palin to stump for Chambliss.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), who is locked in a run-off election against challenger Jim Martin, will be calling on support from John McCain and Sarah Palin:

U.S. Sen. John McCain will come to Georgia to campaign for Republican U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, the Moultrie lawmaker’s campaign confirmed Friday.

“We just have to work out the dates,” said Chambliss’s spokeswoman, Michelle Grasso.

Grasso said the campaign is also in touch with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s office about a possible Georgia appearance.

“She wants to come down, but right now we are working with her schedulers to see if that’s possible,” Grasso said.

Did someone forget to tell Saxby that McCain LOST?

  4. Bobwurst says:

Hey, she just thinks she’s doing her part to fight off Russian aggression…

She will bring her chain saw to help cut up the stumps.

  6. tarazan says:

After Sarah’s visit to Georgia she will claim that she has now foreign experience about Cuba and Castro.

  7. Bilbo Hussein Baggins says:

So, how is that going to help him. I suspect that Obama will campaign for Martin. Chambliss is a thoroughly evil human being and I am hoping we can send him packing along with the rest of his ilk who were turned out in this election.

  8. Zooey says:

Nothing will bring out the Dem voters in force like McCain/Palin campaigning for that disgusting prat.

  9. EugeneDebs says:

How much money does Saxby think he will have to put on Bimbostiens Neiman Marcus card to get her to do anything for him?

  10. RUCerious says:

Prediction ~ Palin not available, clothes being recycled, jeans are all in the wash, impeachment IS on the table, no can do.
Why Sexy Saxby would want her, still beyond recognition.

I’m sure her calendar is chock full of activity . . . or not.

More importantly is the Alaska diva going to bring her looted clothes on the RNC’s dime on the campaign trail? Is the Straight Talk Express plane getting fueled up on the RNC or Chambliss’ dime? Will Caribou Barbie stop by the nearest Needless Markups (Neiman Marcus) store for spare clothes? And will the RNC give her more Diet Dr. Peppers for the road?

Geezer and Dingbat are back again. Sigh…

  13. Jackie says:

Don’t give those clothes back yet. If the RNC has given the clothes to Good Will Sarah will need to go on another shopping spree. John McCain will do more harm then good right now. McCain should be more concerned about the woman who’s running to replace him right now.

  14. SP Biloxi says:

    P.S.

Didn’t the twit tell her entourage of media in Alaska that she couldn’t wait to get back to work as Governor? Who will be minding the store while she is campaigning in Georgia? First dude? That woman is a piece of work.

Just when I was starting to regain a little respect for McCain..

How can ANY veteran of ANY war support Saxby Chambliss? His attack on Cleland in ‘02 remains the most vile, reprehensible ad in political history.

McCain slammed Chambliss for the attack in 2002…how far he has fallen

I doubt it. And McNumbNuts is leaving the trophy wife at home, too. It’s time for a private tryst with his running mate. It’s been too long already.

The big question, though, is who Failin’ Palin will be accusing of “pallin’ around with terrorists”. I think Obama is off the list at this point.

Saxby Chambliss is a man without honor. Do the good people of Georgia really want him representing them?

    EW ew ew ew EWWW…

no way! she is disgusted by him, couldn’t you tell?!?

  28. tigger says:

This is very good news for Saxby Chambliss!

  29. Greytdog says:

Of course Palin has a busy schedule – who to fire, who to persecute, what snow machine races Todd will win, baby shower for Bristol, and checking on Putin. She also has to keep the Alaskan airspace clear for Santa who we all know is American.

  30. Tawdry says:

They’re in withdrawal. It’s difficult to come down after addiction to nasty campaigning. They need just a little hair of the McNasty dog and who could make them feel better than a shot of Saxby Chambliss. The nastiest of them all.

  31. Jess Wonderin says:

I’d expect palin . . . she’s got the clothes now and Todds got nice warm silk boxers for winter . . . but how can a VETERAN like McCain even STAND next to Sackosheet after what he did to a REAL WAR HERO, Max???

  32. jb says:

Maybe Michelle Bachman would help out as well.

  33. Uncle Fester Lurks says:

Get ready for the labels of anti-American, socialist, communist and elitist to be put on Martin.

  34. singe_101 says:

McCain gets a horrible rating from Disabled Veterans of America, of course he won’t stand up for Cleland (now) or stand with Martin.

Reaching across the aisle means trying to assimilate Blue Dogs, like the Borg. “Resistance is futile, join our groupthink and get perks!”

  35. unbelievable says:

Obama did not campaign here, yet only lost by 4.7%.

Martin, who actually has a bigger support base lost by less than 3% – precisely the number of votes the third party candidate received.

The main problem I see is getting all those people who voted for Martin on Tuesday back to the polls December 2nd. It’s a different demographic than those who support Chambliss (senior and self-employed).

I’m afraid it’s a long shot for Martin, even with McCreepy showing up to remind the people why he lost by a landslide.

  36. KEVKEV IN APACHE JUNCTION says:

How’s about having Joe the Plumber* helping out?

*Are Joe and Jeff Gannon some kind of Wierd Republican

  37. krdaddy says:

Chambliss should invite all the Republican who lost their
jobs last Tuesday to come and campaign for him, they all
    have lots of time now.

  38. trishthedish says:

    That’s really tactical ! HA!
