I have always admired and respected Keith Olbermann. He’s one of the few people out there that tells it like it is. Ultimately, if he voted or not, that was his decision. Just like in a casino, in this ‘pseudo-democracy’ no matter who you vote for the ‘house’ always wins. We’re tricked into believing we still have a democracy. Right after a candidate wins he has to play it according to the rules of the elite no matter what he said he would do to get elected.

Yeah, had Olbie voted your vote wouldn’t have counted and who knows what would have happened! Good old Keith let us decide. ;)

I watch Olbie and MSNBC to get the liberal perspective just like I watch Fox to get the conservative perspective. He does good commentary as long as he controls his tendency to go off on psycho tirades. It’s almost embarrassing to watch him when he can’t maintain self control. His Murrow aspirations take a beating then. He looks incredibly uncomfortable in the photo above. They really shouldn’t have forced him to hold the flag.

PS: you call these “comments?” I’ve read better on bathroom walls. ‘Juvenile’ would be a step up. Now I remember why I hardly ever comment here. Last time, I complained about all the dim-witted personal attacks and surfeit of name-calling. You’re still the same!

Think Progress is a good source, I read it everyday. The comments don’t rise to the level of bad graffiti.

Two things happened today pertaining to KO. 1) He revealed that he doesn’t vote, simultaneously revealing himself to be a huge hypocrite: can’t complain or criticize if you don’t participate–absolutely no excuse for someone who wants to comment of our politics. 2) I learned not to listen to a word he says.

I’m a huge Olbermann fan, but I’m very disappointed that he didn’t vote. I know there are journalists who have made the decision not to do so because they never want to appear partisan…but come on! Keith NOT partisan?
