I do not follow politics, and know very little about the subject. So i found the Movie Entertaining, I understand there is a lot of inaccuracies, that is what made it
interesting. But the accuracies explain ALOT!!
I’m very glad I watched it just to see how F-ed up politics are, which will interest me more from this day forth. I typically watch films more than once…I hope years down the road I come across this movie in the “comedy” section at blockbuster!!
If only we knew then what we know NOW!!

Maybe he watched it with the volume turned off.

Or maybe he just thought it was “awesome” that somebody made a movie about him at all.

W. couldn’t compare to Nixon, but it was a strong film nonetheless.

Have to watch it a few more times to truly appreciate it, though.

I saw “W” and found it very boring. I went to it with an open mind but soon realized that I wanted it to be over way before it was, just like Bush’s presidency. Anyone who knows who Bush really is will find the movie pathetic and poorly written. It makes no attempt to capture the viciousness and arrogance of the Bush family. It’s all Oedipal, all the time.
On another site I wrote that it’s Stone’s worst movie. Somebody responded that I must not have seen “Alexander.” I haven’t, and won’t.

It may well be that Dufous has actually seen the movie, and that he does like it. At this point any attention he can get, good or bad, is desirable. I’m certain his most terrifying nightmare is to be forgotten. We’ll watch him grovel, apologize, whine, plead, kick himself around, anything to get attention. Now he’s the bad little boy who wants forgiveness…

I’m sure it’s very entertaining but if you want to see a decent look back as W’s tenure as our president perhaps looking at parents in Iraq picking thru piles of the dead for their children’s body parts taken by say Robert Fisk would be a bit more revealing and accurate portrayal of his influence on world affairs ?
