Job #1 for President Obama and his team should be reviewing each and every person who Bush brought into the White House and determining if they are actually qualified for the position they hold. Scientists should be in control of science, not partisan anti-science political operatives.

This isn’t Bush hand-from-the-grave per-se. Rather, it has all the markings of big oil. They now have an embedded loyalist who will report back to big oil on global warming effects from NOAA and a mole inside the Energy Department’s Office of Science who will try to steer money away from global warming research.

It didn’t take long when I searched on the various National Laboratory sites to zero in on a project (probably one of many) that I am sure big oil is interested in.

Check out PNNL then Battelle Labs and finally their venture startups.

Take a look at Velocys’s technology. Is there anyone here who would argue that big oil wouldn’t be very interested in this avenue of energy?

This mole’s job will be to report on the leading-edge technologies that might threaten big oil, and to then follow big-oil’s directives as to steering money into or away from the technology in question. He’s a spy plain and simple.
So? The goal should be to “mushroom” him i.e. keep him in the dark and feed him S^@T!

You still have to document their lack of ability to do the job as described…myself being a government employee and union steward, it is hard to get rid of dead weight. Document, document, document.

Bush is the most subversive president in American history. HE is the ENEMY of the majority of Americans. The man deserves to rot in a concrete 8′ x 8′ cell for the remainder of his wholly destructive and failed existence. He has done so much harm to America and Americans, and will continue to do so until his last disastrous day in office, that it will literally take decades of hardship and suffering for millions of Americans to recover, not to mention millions of innocent Iraqi men, women and children. The ONLY action that would make precedent gump have a slightyl positive legacy would be if he took his own life AND while doing so, also took cheney’s.

Like having cheney be on the other side of his meoon-like head, while gump pulled the trigger of a 357 magnum against his temple. It would pop the air, and sail straight across the chiasm, and out the other side to strike the Traitor-in-chief cheney.

I would be the FIRST to sing his praise for the rest of eternity (not really, but for about 3 weeks) if he did that.
THEN the history books would glow about him for “doing the right thing.”
