Who really cares its a private club and they have the right to do whatever they want, so long as it does not harm others or break the law. Personally I think its stupid, and some diversity in the club might create fantastic discussions and up the competition, but really its a private club and if they feel best around white guys they have the right to be around white guys.

This is pretty common still in the South. A few years ago in Savannah, Ga there was a G8 summit just south of town. The city was in an uproar about possible protesters coming into town to spoil its pristine beauty. The whites-only club downtown, the Oglethorpe club, took down its plaque and boarded up its windows for fear of being targeted.

Army humvees roamed the streets, but not a peep from protesters anywhere. It was fun to see racists in a panic.
