Dennis Blair has a quite sordid record when it comes to East Timor and Indonesia. In 1999, as militia and Indonesian military violence was escalating Blair went to Indonesia and instead of ordering the Indonesian military to back off, offered understanding and further U.S. military assistance. Looks like the racist Omar Fox fell for the GOP meme about Obama being a secret Muslim. Sorry to disapoint you and your vision of a Cabinet resembling a Bennaton ad. It looks like we’ll have to deal with a Cabinet assembled through the rarest of ideas…putting capable, experienced people in positions aimed at solving problems and pushing a forward thinking policy. Placating Muslims or any ethnic/religious group for that matter, do not appear to be among Obama’s top priorities right now, Omar. His plate is pretty full dealing with the myriad of blunders and attrocities commited by Bush. I’m sure once he fixes the economy, ends the occupation of Iraq, catches Bin Laden and forges a troop withdrawal pact with Afghanistan he’ll get right on that for you!
