Hope shes having a nice 08 christmas! While her blog about her boasting about how she was responsible for investigating a small southwestern Pennsylvania business who in fact did “no wrong”. Now the small business has people laid off! Yes! Partly because of the economy, but mostly because of her and shes bragging about it. They did no wrong, but our system seems to think otherwise and they are trying to appeal. I say get rid of her and replace her, before she runs our state into the ground . Still getting rid of those dam communists.

She won’t quit..huh? Well the Democrats should do what the GOP would do in this case…keep digging until they find a “scandal” then blow it all out of proportion (if they have too)..drag every member of the U.S.A.’s family into it….make sure every talking head, pundit and MSM brings the scandal up and (”embellishes” it) at least six time a day…..start a congressional (and very public) investigation….she’ll quit..trust me…!

Excellent point! Clinton actually did fire every US Attorney at the beginning of his administration, yet no one made a peep about it because ALL US ATTORNEYS SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT! There was no so-called “scandal” when Bush fired those few US Attorneys not so long ago. He didn’t need a reason to fire them because: ALL US ATTORNEYS SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT!

Actually Nobama, if you did some research, you’d find Clinton fired every US Attorney at the beginning of his administration.

George W. Bush ALSO fired every US Attorney at the beginning on his administration.

Clinton also fired the White House Travel office….who ALSO serves at the Pleasure of the President…..and we watched Republicans scream bloody murder about it too.

George W. Bush ALSO fired HIS OWN US Attorneys (only like 9 of them) at his second term. (And Democrats screamed bloody murder — but the question of whether or not the DOJ (and other organizations) had become politicized (they’re not supposed to be) was conveniently ignored by the Media.

After reading all of the current blogs for this subject, I noticed that only misshusseinmolly, # 15 wrote in a clear and intelligent way and did not resort to name calling or foul language. I applaud her style, tact, and grace as well as respect her opinion. Thank you ma’am for your honesty, elloquence, as well as your strenght of character to state your opinion and without resorting to insults and abusive language. I actually enjoyed reading your blog and thought you made very interesting and valid points. I only wish everyone else had shown the same restraint and spoke in a more appropriate way

There was no so-called “scandal” when Bush fired those few US Attorneys not so long ago. He didn’t need a reason to fire them because: ALL US ATTORNEYS SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT! You’d think these alleged “progressives” would turn the volume down on their rhetoric now that their Michael Jackson wannabe has been elected and they are in firm control of both Houses of Congress. It would appear that the only requirement for being a liberal today is the ability to spew hate-filled tirades against anyone who believes something different than they do, and just be for anything and everything any one individual wants to do with his or her life. That last part means “progressives” don’t have to take any positions they might have to defend with reasoned, intelligent thought. It’s a coward’s position when you think about it. Just be for anything and you can be everybody’s friend. Except if that other person is a conservative or believes anything different from what liberals think. How sad to live your life hating every person who doesn’t believe how you do. And worse, not being able to carry on a reasoned conversation or even trying to enter into an intelligent dialogue so that an exchange of ideas might bring some further understanding about one’s opinions.

Boot this witch out. I am incensed that 12 million dollars of taxpayers money went towards putting Tommy Chong in jail. She obviously doesn’t have a life. Her hubris is too much, AS IF the Obama administration would even want her around. Looks like these scum won’t leave the inside of the Beltway unless they are dragged out kicking and screaming. They need to accept and deal with the fact that their party is no longer in power and get over it. The air really stinks here in DC, I can’t wait for the new administration to take over so I can breathe again.

But worst of all she hired that sterling attorney Monica Goodling. That blond idiot, that Palin clone who knows nothing about the law. The lady that claimed her first loyalty was NOT TO THE CONSTITUTION but to Bush. Between Buchanan and Goodling you get an idea of the level of intellect and professionalism.

Nah, keep her around. If any evidence of unethical behavior on her part during the Bush administration surfaces, she’s on the hook. Not like others, who have left the government, and so, aren’t prosecutable.

Make her a “Dirty Mary,” by giving her only child-molestation, sexual-slavery, and internet porn cases.

Make her work for that salary.

And have an Obama-appointed assistant, to keep tabs on her.

Ashcroft appointed her back in 03′ and her first priority was entrapping glass bong salesmen over the internet and through mail orders. 12 million in federal dollars was spent to bring down Tommy Chong’s son’s mail order business and others. This was Ashcroft’s culture war and they used the Patriot Act and other civil rights abuses to tie them in with terrorism. She’s front and center in the documentary “AKA Tommy Chong”. It was plain and simple entrapment. They didn’t even notify these businesses that they would start enforcing the laws that had been on the books for decades. They just raided the 54 companies and ruined the lives of each of them including Tommy Chong who took the wrap, serving 9 months in federal prison in a plea bargain to protect his wife and son who were the actual owners. Great, just what we need more police fighting the culture war of the 60’s and 70’s when out main concern should be within our own Justice Dept (Gonzo). IN HER STATEMENTS TO THE JUDGE DURING SENTENCING SHE USED “UP IN SMOKE” AS AN EXAMPLE OF HIS MOCKING AUTHORITY TO ACHIEVE A JAIL SENTENCE WHEN ALL OTHER INDICTMENTS ENDED WITH PROBATION. Her work for Bush after Ashcroft speaks for itself.

Let’s not forget what else Ms Buchanan is famous for: railroading Tommy Chong into a prison sentence using entrapment and the threat of putting his wife in prison, when his son shipped a bong to a county that prohibited it. She’s a Bush crusader that needs to be kicked to the curb.
