Karl Rove is reportedly one of the key architects overseeing the “Bush legacy project,” predicting that the President will be remembered as a “far-sighted leader.” In a new interview with Cox News, Rove rails against all the people in America who never “accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush,” saying that he plans to call them out in his new book:
Rove sees a presidency clouded by the way it began.
“There were people who never accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush and acted accordingly,” he said. [...]
Also reserved for between the covers of Rove’s book is his checklist of the “great many of the political actors in this town (who) never accepted him as a legitimate president.”
“I’ve got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States,” Rove said, adding: “I’m going to name names and show examples.”
In the Cox interview, Rove also refused to acknowledge the role of Bush administration officials in various scandals, including the Valerie Plame, instead blaming “Washington partisanship.”
Dang – TP isn’t gonna turn over names to rove, right?
Bet MILLIONS AND MILLIONS are shaking in their bootstraps, after all, this is the most unpopular president in US history.
December 7th, 2008 at 9:36 amRove planning to ‘name names’ of Bush haters in his new book.»
– - Naming 70% of American voters will make for quite a tome.
December 7th, 2008 at 9:40 amWe’re being told he has had a “big bounce” after the elections and approval is now about 43% (brought to you by the same maintream media that said Iraq had WMD and was a threat – ummmmm, yeah, sure, whatever)
Even using this number, assuming America has over 300 million cizizens, WOW…
This has to be one honkin’ big book!
December 7th, 2008 at 9:41 amI’m interested in this. One example I have heard Rove give – without going so far as to name names – was that there were 22 Democratic members of Congress who were with Bill Clinton on free trade issues but completely reversed with Bush in office. This is something that happens with both parties in Congress whenever the President of the United States is from the opposite party, and I think it is pretty sad.
December 7th, 2008 at 9:42 amI will borrow said book from library on day one and scan the whole fcuking contents and post it widely on the Internets so that he looses as much money as possible.
ARREST, TRY AND HANG THIS MOTHERFCUKER!!!!!
December 7th, 2008 at 9:43 amPUT ME IN!!!!! put me in!!!!! please
December 7th, 2008 at 9:45 am/snark
December 7th, 2008 at 9:47 amAlecto, while I agree with your premise, I wish you would watch your spelling!
December 7th, 2008 at 9:47 amAh, yes. Karl Rove is such a credible turdblossom, always making something pleasant out of a pile of cow dung. Now why would there be people who never accepted the legitimacy of Georgie Bush? Oh yeah, because he’s a fookin crook that stole the election in 2000, started stealing with his cronies (Enron), lied us into what they hoped was a perpetual war, tried his best to steal the Iraqis oil, sat idly by while his appointees like Heckuvajob Brownie stood idly by and watched New Orleans suffer for days AFTER the hurricane, and now his Treasury “boys” have been shoveling out a trillion dollars so quickly, they haven’t kept tabs on it.
But, hey, Rove’s the guy that bugged his own candidate’s office and blamed it on the opposition, so we should trust him, right?
That this guy isn’t in jail after this is a travesty.
December 7th, 2008 at 9:50 amGood luck pushing that rope uphill, RoverBoy!
December 7th, 2008 at 10:00 amI hope to be listed at or near the top!
December 7th, 2008 at 10:04 amIt would be a very small pamphlet and it would save a lot of paper if they just listed the people that pretend to like him.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:08 amNaming the “Bush haters” would be 3/4 of the people in the country and would be a very large book.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:10 amRove sees a presidency clouded by the way it began.
This is such Bull$hit.
Bush had the Entire Country, and most of the rest of the World Supporting him on Sept. 12.
The Fact that he Thoroughly Blew it, was His Fault.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:13 amCox News Who the hell are they, and what do they do other than rah-rah with unsupported claims for the chimp-in-chief? Is KKKarl on their board?
December 7th, 2008 at 10:14 amThe rest of the world understands how dur chimpfurher was installed via 2 stolen elections. In fact, there is a much higher percentage of “bush haters” in the rest of the world than here.
If we assume 6.7 billion, can he really create a manuscript that identifies more than 4 billion people?
I know that number is peanuts compared to what the military-industirial complex has stolen in Iraq, but it represents more than one lifetime of work.
I don’t believe that even a billion monkeys randomly pounding away at keyboards could ever finish this book.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:16 amBadger – 9/11 was an inside job.
Here’s a good place to start – see what folks that design buildings have to say: ARCHITECTS FOR TRUTH
December 7th, 2008 at 10:18 amMr. Rove, why aren’t you in prison yet? Imagine if Joseph Goebbels, leader of the Nazi Party’s propaganda unit, could have gone around after WWII spewing his BS?
SHAME ON EACH AND EVERY CORPORATE MEDIA ENTITY THAT ENABLES SOCIOPATHS INCLUDING KARL ROVE TO CONTINUE POLLUTING OUR PUBLIC DISCOURSE AND PUBLIC-OWNED AIRWAVES. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU!

I did not accepted DUBYA as President…..Add my name to yuor book of LIES……….
Y Manor
December 7th, 2008 at 10:22 amI wonder who he thinks is gonna buy his piece of shit book when/if it gets published.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:27 amWho gives a sh!t? It’s not like revealing anything we don’t already know, or even care about. It’s actually cool to be a Bush-basher, unless you’re a socio-path redneck married to his sister…
Rove, you fooled the people twice, but apparently, not a third time. Just leave now.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:29 amRove has a long and storied history of lying. Why should we expect this to be anything but another tale from “Bush’s brain”.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:30 amNaming names is the only way he’ll be assured people will BUY his damn book.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:36 amDo you think kkkarl rove will post a blog where we can all sign up for inclusion in his great new book?
Heck, that thing would just write itself if he just asked us to post names and comments. He could just copy and paste a virtually unlimited set of names and reasons.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:41 amJust go to any city’s phonebook and take all the names between Aaron Aaronson and Zbigniew Zweig, there’s your list turd blossom
December 7th, 2008 at 10:42 amIt’s going to be a long book.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:45 amCan we set up a website where we can put OUR names in?
December 7th, 2008 at 10:46 amHey Karl, make sure you spell my name right.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:47 amRove’s math is backwards, once again. Staunch reich-wingers are still laboring under the delusion that a silent majority supports this (p)resident, as if his detractors are an underground club buying off the poll numbers of the four major networks.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:48 amFor eight years every thought of these two was considered a national secret. Now that it’s “Book Time” ol’ rove boy is hyping up all the “dirt” that he pretends to know about. What is it? These people didn’t think gwb was the lawful or rightful president? Gotta do better than that kkkarl.
Is it alright to submit our name to kkkkarl if per chance he may have missed us along the way?
I wonder if it will be publiched in two versions. The normal “intelligent” people can read version or the GWB picture book with few words.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:49 amRove sure knows how to name names, just ask Valerie Plame.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:49 amWhoever gets “outed” by Rove should be inducted into the Good Government Hall of Fame.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:49 amkarl is good at
naming names.
*
how much does he
want for the book?
^
December 7th, 2008 at 10:50 amSomeone should “out” rove – after all, homosexual prostitute with fake press credentials jeff gannon/guckert had to have been “servicing” someone over there on those overnights.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:52 amIf he’s naming the Bush Haters, I sure he spells MY name correctly…
December 7th, 2008 at 10:56 amWonder how many hundreds of volumes long this is gonna be.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:58 amI’m sure that there were people who were insufficiently respectful, but Rove seems to be speaking about it in conspiratorial tones like Bush was the first president to experience this.
Surely Rove isn’t saying that the Bush Administration was undermined because (boo-hoo) some mean people didn’t treat him like a real president?
That would be particularly ironic since Bush and Rove seemed to treat the half of country that voted for Democrats as illegitimate citizens.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:58 amMe, me, me, Pick me!
December 7th, 2008 at 10:58 ameveryone that he names is my hero..i also dont consider rove as a legitimate human being
December 7th, 2008 at 10:59 amHere’s a suggestion for a title.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:01 am“Phone Book”
Pete – you earn respect, you don’t steal it with stolen elections. The support he generated from 9/11 – the most popular leader in the world and perhaps the most popular president in US history, was all squandered.
He shamelessly exploited that tragedy and used it to undermine our democracy and to enrich the military-industrial complex (of which oil is a major component).
And then, waddya know – a critical look at 9/11 shows that the real wacko-conspiracy theory is that bin laden defeated the most sophisticate traffic control system and military in the world from a cave on a cellphone while on dialysis and that a rag-tag bunch with boxcutter pulled it off.
And Americans should have respect for this criminal cabal?
December 7th, 2008 at 11:02 amOH GOSH, will I be able to continue my commenting duties once I’m outed? For once Karl should have a taste of his own medicine, out his bad cholesterol for the world to see.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:03 am“There were people who never accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush and acted accordingly,” he said. […]
You mean, just because he LOST the popular vote, and was installed by the coterie of SCROTUS justices beholden to his father, there could be ANY doubt of the legitimacy of his rule? And “won re-election” by virtue of the largest and most pervasive election fraud in the history of the whole fukcung GALAXY?
Man, people are just sooooo unfir…Just knock me over with a feather
December 7th, 2008 at 11:03 amThe first step is to “out” us as “bush haters”.
Next, they will round us up as “enemy combatants”.
Then, its torture and life in prison without representations, charges, or right to redress.
Oh – and democrats signed on to undermine the US Constitution too, so it wasn’t just repugs.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:04 amTokin – he would have lost 2000 in the electoral college too if we had free, fair, and open elections.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:06 amExit Stage Left Says:
I wonder who he thinks is gonna buy his piece of shit book when/if it gets published.
The RNC will make one of their famous “Bulk Buys” to get it on the NY Times best seller list (with the * so people know it really shouldn’t be there.) Then they will give it away free at all their meetings. Then the rest will end up in the $1.00 bin.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:07 amAPEC not OPEC – they will probably give it away to tons of libraries too.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:08 amPlease Turdblossom. Will you put my name in the book? Please? I’ve emailed that evil bastard you worked for more than 20,000 times since it took office. Doesn’t that count for being a Bush hater? Please Turdy, name my name in your book. OK?
December 7th, 2008 at 11:08 amNote to Karl the Thief: AlphaLiberal is one word.
Thanks.

“Phone Book”
Brilliant! But now I have to clean off my keyboard!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:18 amHey Turdblossom, include me!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:28 amseriously, that would take many volumes…
hell, you could fill a library, if you go name by name!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:31 amAs if anyone will care what Rove has to say.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:33 amPlease add my name in bold print.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:33 am“I’m going to name names and show examples.”
Thank you Karl ‘Kakistocracy’ Rove. Now we’ll know who our heroes are.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:36 amWe already have a phone book, thanks anyway Karl!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:39 am“I’ve got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States,” Rove said, adding: “I’m going to name names and show examples.”
Included in the book will be satellite photos, third-party accounts, and documentation (provided by a former member of Italian intelligence) that conclusively shows who these inhospitable insiders are, and their nefarious, behind-the-scenes snubs.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:43 amIt’s still just roves word…….how much is that worth…really?
December 7th, 2008 at 11:49 amPut my name on the list, Karl! I would be proud to be on it!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:50 amI’m coming out with a book of Bush ass lickers. Rover, you’re No. 1.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:52 amSign me up, as aWol certainly was not elected by voters; rather he was selected by the Supreme Court in one of the great miscarriages of justice in our history.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:54 amJust make sure you spell my name right, Karl.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:55 amWill it be called “American Heroes” or “Profiles in Courage”?
December 7th, 2008 at 11:58 amWill there be any republicans on the list or will they all be democrats?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:00 pmBoy, I bet those people that Rove is going to “out” as Bush haters are shaking in their boots.
Rove conveniently forgets that the nation was behind Bush after 911, including many who thought he stole the election. Bush had an enormous amount of political capital and he squandered it by invading a country that had nothing to do with 911 and was not a threat to this country.
Unfortunately for Rove, all he can do at this point is to preach to the choir. No one else is going to care what he has to say other than to laugh hysterically at each and every absurd statement he makes.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:03 pmAnother Joe
I don’t disagree with you about the administration’s failure to earn respect.
My point is that Rove seems to think that since some people didn’t respect Bush’s legitimacy from day one, that somehow mitigates or excuses what an epic failure they were. It’s not only a silly claim for Rove to make, it’s pathetic.
Even if Rove is telling the truth, what he is claiming flies in the face of the carefully crafted image of Bush as the bold, decisive leader who doesn’t care what people think.
Rove had gone from painting Bush as John Wayne in a flight-suit, to an ineffectual wuss who was undermined by schoolyard name-calling.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:11 pmMy feelings will be hurt if you leave me out Karl. Please include me in every chapter going back to jr.s time as TX gov.
George W. Bush Sucks. I authorize you to use that quote. : )
December 7th, 2008 at 12:18 pmP.S. You suck too Karl. But that’s another book.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:20 pml o l… lots of funny comments here!
and, like everybody else, i want MY name on that list…
but then i see he wants the “political actors in this town”…
oh well… sign me up anyway…
does it even occur to him that dubya was not accepted as a “legitimate president” because he was not legitimately elected?
why, of course he does… but denial is the hallmark here…
December 7th, 2008 at 12:23 pmnot reality…
Rove belongs in prison for treason.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:26 pmI seem to recall that Bush had to tell Cheney to stop running the Cabinet meetings because it made Bush look like he wasn’t in charge.
Rove had something to say about “legitimacy”?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:28 pmWho cares what this tub of sh*t has to say; and why isn’t he in prison?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:29 pmI hope I’m not out of turn here but please put George Carlin’s name in and use the Comic font.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:29 pmHow many books have been made and will be made that name Rove as a traitor to America?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:30 pmWow, so Rove is going to publish the biggest book ever.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:32 pmBs sure you get my name right, you disgusting piece of garbage!

December 7th, 2008 at 12:36 pmBush Hater
Tallahassee, Florida
“The Big Big Book of Bush Haters” by Karl “butt-sniffer” Rove.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:37 pmdamn – this may not be a good idea and could have serious social consequences.
What if people start mixing up “The Big Big Book of Bush Haters” with “The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous“?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:41 pmRove planning to ‘name names’ of Bush haters in his new book.
This is an admission that he’s a spent force in national politics. You don’t “name names” in Washington, if you’re planning on securing employment there, and this smells like a bi-partisan shit sandwich, with democrats and paleocons both having a served portion.
He’s tossed a metaphorical Molotov, a “Lee Atwater Memorial Fire Sale,” of sorts. One last book cash-in, on a torched style of politics that failed because it never took the concept of actual governance as seriously as achieving it.
He’s also firebombed his links within the party; a party that never forgets such acts.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:45 pmBush-haters?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:47 pmThat will be a mighty long list.
And he earned every bit of that hate – with enough left over for Rove. May they suffer before they die.
rove has been a major distraction that has served the repugs/neocons well.
He has served his purpose and is cashing in. He was never responsible for the theft of 2000 or 2004 – these feats required insiders that had access to the means to do it – kkkarl rove did not have this.
He was the clown that the media told us was “bushes brain” – a “genius” that could do almost anything.
In fact, he was just part of a crowd of halfwits that stood in front of the camera while the unprecidented popularity dur chimpfurher gained via 9/11 was flushed down the toilet.
But all of this served their masters well, the military-industiral complex has pocketed hundreds of billions of dollars – it will be TRILLIONS before everything is paid off (if it every is).
And it was all possible because people are willing to talk and blog about chimpy, kkkarl, cheney, rummy, rice and a long string of morons instead of the folks that actually lead and benefit from this criminal cabal.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:51 pmThe world’s frit 52,000,000 page book?
December 7th, 2008 at 12:52 pmAnd according to this article, turdblossom assumes that someone will buy a book written by a criminal thug? I see he is reverting to what he most probably was during his childhood, tattletale.
December 7th, 2008 at 12:57 pmShould have been a prison memoir.
December 7th, 2008 at 1:03 pmLet’s just make it official and agree that, henceforth, the official, accepted honorific given to Dubya is “Pretender Bush” rather than “President Bush.” At least that will make Karl feel all warm inside (if not down his leg) about how the Bush haters are savaging his “legacy.” History now knows that Bush was not honestly elected in either the 2000 or the 2004 election and we might as well cement his Pretendership in the public consciousness.
December 7th, 2008 at 1:06 pmName bush haters…on paper? There isn’t that much paper on planet earth.
December 7th, 2008 at 1:35 pmKarl is quite correct…Bush was NEVER the legitimate President. Al Gore won the 2000 election. For once I am in total agreement with King Turd.

I’d sue him for distress and defamation, take all his profits to help people keep their homes, but there aren’t going to be any profits. Rich Bush supporters will expect free copies, and everyone else can’t afford one anymore.

December 7th, 2008 at 4:26 pmWow, a lot of people are going to hope that they are on Karl Rove’s “Honor Roll”.
How embarassing would it be to be revealed as NOT questioning George Bush jr.’s ability to be President…
December 7th, 2008 at 4:29 pmTo #105, al92lt1-
Probably not the whole Census (I know some in-laws who are still true believers), but your post gives an idea-
How about some new questions on the 2010 Census such as:
Did you ever vote for GWB/RC?
December 7th, 2008 at 4:35 pmAre you pleased with the results of his time wasted in office?
Do you want him to refund to the US Treasury all monies paid to him, and room & board charges for visits to Camp David, carrier visits, AirForce One, etc?
Seems to me the problem was we never had enough “haters” to expose the SOB. The Justice Department should hold Bush 43, Rove, Cheney, and the rest accountable. The American people should hold every single politician that ever supported Bush 43 accountable by never voting for them again. If they thought it was a good idea to endorse or campaign for Bush 43, then their judgement can never again be trusted. Rove wants to name Bush-haters? Fine. I’ll support those folks with my vote and my wallet.
December 7th, 2008 at 4:35 pmKarl, you lying gas-bag, add me to the list of those who not only consider Bushes presidency illegitimate, but believe history will judge him as the WORST, MOST INCOMPETENT, UTTERLY UNFIT PRESIDENT in modern times. Now that is a distinction…
December 7th, 2008 at 4:36 pmDon’t the phone book people have a copyright on their work? I really think Karl should look into this before printing his list.
December 7th, 2008 at 4:38 pmIs my name on the list? Can I email Karl and have him add it?
December 7th, 2008 at 4:51 pmHwy, I want to be included on the list. I never accepted Rove as a Human Being either.
December 7th, 2008 at 5:17 pmExcellent! How do I get my name in this book? I’ve been ridiculing Dubya way before the rest of the nation caught on. I feel I deserve to be in this book.
Anyone know an email for Rove so I can send him my information?
December 7th, 2008 at 5:35 pmA book? He’s gonna need a whole library for that list.
December 7th, 2008 at 5:38 pmWouldn’t it be a lot less time consuming to list those who aren’t Bush haters? After all, listing ALL Bush haters will be laborious and the book would be incredibly heavy and expensive. Besides, if Rove left someone out, that person might become angry and sue. Best to publish on cd rom.
December 7th, 2008 at 5:39 pmWhat do I have to do to get on the list?
Is there an email address where we can contact Karl?
Maybe we should inundate him with emails and snail mail asking to add us to the list.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:02 pmIn Washington, most Democrats and nearly all Republicans were so servile to the Tard King that if they doubted his legitimacy, they kept it very, very well-hidden. Even now with record low approval ratings and a Democratic Congress when Bush comes up with a new scam like the Wall Street bailout, Congress can’t rush fast enough to give him what he wants.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:07 pmLet’s say there are 300 million residents of the United States. Let’s say that 50% of them are eligible to vote. Let’s say that 50% of these hate Bush. Let’s say that there are 300 words per page of a hard-cover book. Then naming all Bush-haters will fill 250,000 pages.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:11 pmGee, I wonder why that was – maybe because he was an illegitimate president? Could that have something to do with it? The way he so blatantly brings it up is intriguing – I should think they’d want to not even discuss Bush’s election “victories.”
December 7th, 2008 at 6:17 pmLet me guess…
These will be the same people who actually caused the new depression. While Bush fought it.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:18 pmI find it hard to hate someone who has no heart…. who has no social conscience…. who is so sure of his “god-connection” that he neither understands or wants to understand that the voice he hears is his own EGO, and has nothing holy or godly about it… Karl can write all he wants, but the pox on their souls is a stain and infection that “SPIN-DRY” will not change… now or ever…. I try to have compassion, but find I am far from perfect in that way…. just like all humans….
December 7th, 2008 at 6:23 pm…. may we survive his legacy, and make the world safer for all 7+ billion souls…
Well I reckon if there is an end of the world scenario where Cheney retains the keys to the underground cities and Rove and neo-cons are the only survivors, Rove and Bush can then create the history they wish to create. But as it stands there are far too many folks like me who will not allow this version of history which Bush and Rove are attempting to create to exist. We will always be here to ridicule their attempt and retain the facts of these last 8 years. His arrogance knows no bounds apparently and someone should remind him sociopaths are as arrogant. Sure there are those who question Bushes legitimacy but its because the facts of 2000 for some reason point to the first President being appointed to the office by the Supreme Court. On top of that he will be remembered as the worse President.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:29 pmMore like The Rove Legacy Project. Oh, and he’s a disgusting turd of a human being.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:36 pmso does anybody know who exactly is publishing this book? and do they sell glazers near their offices? i might need some.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:39 pmI can only hope that my name is added to the list – I would wear it as a badge of honor. The Bush legacy will be much like that of Nixon – as the years go by, the public will discover just how bad he was. There would be no surprises for me, I only hope that I live to see his total humiliation and disgrace.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:44 pmKarl - your gonna need a bigger boat.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:45 pmWhoops sorry – You’re gonna need a bigger boat.
So he is going to retaliate against people who knew Bush was a morn, yet this administration will get off scott free for all their wrong deeds, amazing. He has some big turd-blossoms that is for sure.
December 7th, 2008 at 6:51 pmBush’s approval ratings are increasing because folks are happy that he’s leaving. They might jump 20% if he resigned next week!
I doubt the veracity of anything Karl Rove writes. I’d like to check his truthfulness by questioning him thoroughly. He just might tell the truth if we waterboarded Rove, Rumsfeld, and Cheney at the same time (but in different locations).
December 7th, 2008 at 6:54 pmcouldn’t resist… this 2nd headline is humorous:
Discovery’s Bear Grylls injured on Antarctic trip
Los Angeles Times – 42 minutes ago
British adventurer Bear Grylls, host of the Discovery Channel series “Man vs. Wild,” was injured Friday during an expedition to Antarctica.
Wild 1 — Man 0 TMZ.com
ain’t that how it’s s’posed to be?
December 7th, 2008 at 6:58 pmPlease don’t leave me out. God knows I work hard enough reminding anyone who will listen how bankrupt (hmm…that has familiar ring) Republican ideas are.
And oh yeah Karl, you go on and tell the world (or your world, I guess, FOX News, right?) how your administration would have been so very different except for all of us haters. We made you go to war in Iraq, and gut the EPA, and ignore the Kyoto Accords, and deregulate and deregulate and deregulate so that we could all be free of our money!
And yet I have to admit that I admire the cojones…
December 7th, 2008 at 7:00 pmHe’s making political threats to get back at people. What a nice guy !
Considering questions around the legitimacy of the 2000 and 2004 election process, there ARE serious reasons to question Shrub’s legitimacy as president.a
Considering Shrub’s performance, I’m sure a lot more people question his legitimacy.
December 7th, 2008 at 7:19 pmGee some people questioned the legitimacy of President Bush? I wonder if it had anything to do with the report that if all the ballots had been recounted in Florida Bush wouldn’t be President now. Bush a “far sighted leader”? Oh come on now. He was just a long nosed puppet with good ole Haliburton Cheney pulling the strings. Oh and you can add my name to list of ‘Bush’ haters.
December 7th, 2008 at 7:30 pmThe challenge for Rove, if he was any kind of an honest merchant, would be to write a book explaining why anyone should love Bush.
The book Rove intends to write comes from the faulty premise that Bush-haters prevented Bush from getting anything that he wanted. With one exception (the privatization of social security), Bush got everything that he wanted.
What more could Bush want that he didn’t get through a thoroughly obedient, compliant Congress, signing statements and issuing more executive orders than all previous presidents combined?
December 7th, 2008 at 7:37 pmDear Mr. Rove…
Please enter my name in your upcoming book about Bush-haters.
I did not start out hating Bush. You yourself sir, just assisted in making me first alarmed by Mr. Bush’s quirky views of Presidential power. I just wanted Mr. Bush to be a decent President for the nation. But, step by step, speech by speech you sir made this Mr. Bush increasingly despotic, overly hubristic, and truly a pathological liar.
You led Bush to infamy sir. Your actions are just part of a concerted plan to steer this completely undeserving man, who hates and indeed detests governance, to do the bidding of men with less than honorable agendas, and God knows we see the failure of Mr. Bush right before our eyes.
You may include me in your book sir. Furthur, please accept my fondest wish that you suffer a long and harrowing incarceration in a federal prison for what you have done to this nation and I would also keep a good lookout over your shoulder for the Bush’s themselves. They are a vindictive lot and considering what has happened to their son, for whom you sir were Svengali, and what has befallen their family name, you sir may be more punished than you care to imagine.
Worst regards Mr. Rove,
Boilerman10
December 7th, 2008 at 7:46 pmblogger
Tell rove to put me on top of the list of bu$h haters. Every time that idiot spoke on TV or Radio, I’ve muted him. I have never consciously listened to anything he’s ever said.
Let me know when he dies, ’cause I’ll be dancing in the street and if I live long enough, I’ll pee on his grave. ;-0

December 7th, 2008 at 8:01 pmHey Rover-to accept the legitimacy of the Bush presidency-he would have to be ELECTED…stealing an election doesnt count.
December 7th, 2008 at 8:07 pmPlease spell my name correctly when you list me as a Bush hater:
Vicki Kinghorn Ellefson
> We’re being told he has had a “big bounce”
> after the elections and approval is
> now about 43%
who exactly told you that?
http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm
dont see any survey with a 40 percent approval anywhere..fox has it at 26 percent and I havent even seen more than one or two polls that are even as high as the 30s since september..
December 7th, 2008 at 8:13 pmOh! Oh! Name me! Name me!
December 7th, 2008 at 8:58 pmGreat! We’ll have a list of people to look up to.
December 7th, 2008 at 9:00 pmHow do I pay to guarantee that my name is on the list?
December 7th, 2008 at 9:40 pmStrange, I thought Karl Rove was in prison somewhere, doing hard-time, breaking rocks with his hard-boiled right-wing traitorous egg head?
But add my name to the list, Karl. I figure your book will look like the largest phone directory in world history, once all the people who despise Bush, Cheney and you, for what you’ve done to our once great nation, are included. In fact, it would probably require a fork-lift to hoist your book if all the people from the reality-based community are included, those who haven’t been seduced or fooled by your neo-Nazi propaganda tactics.
Karl, Karl, your name (along with Bush’s, and Cheney’s, and so many other Republicans) will go down in infamy in American history.
And corrupt and criminal Attorney General Mukasey’s recent defense of corrupt and criminal Republicans just won’t cut it…because it is said that the path to Hell is paved with good intentions…which describes perfectly what you and your Republican crony pals have created for our country…Hell…which really calls into question the “good intentions” part. Evil is as evil does, and the last eight years have been anything but “good intentions,” unless one believes that Adolph Hitler and his Nazi crony pals had “good intentions” for Germany and the rest of the world. Evil is as evil does…and Hell on Earth is the result in one form or another.
So, Karl, why aren’t you in jail yet? And why isn’t a U.S.-version of the Nuremberg Trials being discussed?
December 7th, 2008 at 9:45 pmNow we know where the “Bush is the most vilified president in history” meme that’s been floating around lately has originated. Those of us who lived through the Clinton years find that laughable, especially considering that Bush deserves the derision far more than Clinton ever did.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:02 pmNothing KKKarl says is relevant. Did anyone buy his last book of lies? KKKarl will be in jail someday soon.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:02 pmKarl Rove is going to write a book naming Bush haters, we have one it’s called a phone book.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:15 pmThe only names that should be on Karl Rove’s list are the 5000+ American soldiers who have lost their lives because of the stunningly incompetent policies of Rove and his mentor, George W. Bush. This is the legacy of the 43rd president of the US:
THE LEGACY OF 43
Our President, too blind to see
Is looking for his legacy
He will not find one to his taste
But only to his shame
For eight long years of lies and fears
Corruption, torture, tricks and tears
Cannot be spun, the damage done
And so it will remain
Oh, with quagmire, fear and fire
Chaos, wreckage, death and dire
The legacy of 43
Is deep and truly stained
This President the Great Deny-er
Sees victory in Iraq’s quagmire
His mindless, faith-based happy talk
Confirms a sheltered brain
Of wisdom offered he’ll have none
He’ll stay the course ’til kingdom come
And thousands more will give their all
And sacrifice in vain
Oh, with quagmire, fear and fire
Chaos, wreckage, death and dire
The legacy of 43
Is deep and truly stained
A trillion dollars pissed away
A feast for cronies in his pay
A nation’s soul abused and torn
The victim of his game
Katrina, Enron, Abu Ghraib
Incompetence in every shade
A reign of fraud, all shock no awe
Hypocrisy unchained
Oh, with quagmire, fear and fire
Chaos, wreckage, death and dire
The legacy of 43
Is deep and truly stained
For crimes and misdemeanors, then
This President, above all men
Bears guilt for chaos cruelly spawned
And corruption unrestrained
When history judges Bush’s rule
Tis certain he’ll be deemed a fool
But we, the people, wiser now
Will not be fooled again
In quagmire, fear and fire
Chaos, wreckage, death and dire
The legacy of 43
Is deep and truly stained
The legacy of 43
The legacy of 43…
Is deep and truly stained

Rove:
You cannot turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse. There have been too many documented cases of Bush’s administration’s unlawful, deceitful, unethical, treasonous, and illegitimate actions. Actions you were instrumental in carrying out.
Rove, you may feel as though you are untouchable. Perhaps you’ll never be held to account for your actions in this administration. But to the majority of us who are convinced you have conducted yourself illegally, you are someone who holds his own benefit higher than that of the country who gave him so much. You should be treated as a traitor.
You should be in jail and not a nice luxurious minimum security one either.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:33 pmLet’s not forget, as upperleftcoast said, those policies cost the lives of over 5,000 US soldiers and possibly a million and one half Iraqis. Let’s not forget that we are less safe today. Let’s not ever forget that they outed a CIA agent for political reasons. Let’s not forget that they conducted torture and extraordinary rendition. Let’s not forget they wiretapped our own citizens… and went around the FISA court to do it (and sought and obtained immunity for companies that cooperated, after the fact). Let’s not forget the no-bid contracts in Iraq for Bush cronies. Let’s erect a memorial in Washington D.C. that says “never again” should we permit an administration to power grab like this.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:40 pmRove will be accomplishing just the opposite.
The people he names will be considered American heroes and should be celebrated as such. This nation isn’t going center-right anytime soon thanks to George W. Bush, Karl Rove and friends.
Karl Piggy should just keep his snout in the mud. Obviously when it comes to dishing it now, he can’t see past the layers of sh!t already caked up, obscuring his view of the world.
December 7th, 2008 at 10:52 pmWhy does this traitor still have the right to breath free air? He outed a COVERT CIA AGENT during a time of WAR!
If there was real “justice for all” in this nation, rove would be trading cigarettes for his life in a maximum security federal prison in a state far, far away from Washington DC. And, far away from the TV studios of faux spews. After all, nobody really gives a fiddler’s phuck what rove has to say now-a-days.
Seems the words of traitorous little doughboy rove, are important to rabid reich wingers and no one else on this planet.
Perhaps we should be sending this traitor a cigarette a day until his federal incarceration (a national day of celebration). That way he has something to trade while he finishes his life sentence…..
December 7th, 2008 at 11:10 pmRove is flailing his arms around like a movie or TV star that used to be a huge deal, but is now just a D or C-level political celebrity at best.
He has his niche/cult following, but beyond that no one gives two shakes. Karl will have to do his horrible hip-hop dance again, just on reality TV shows as a wh0re for attention and money.
Like his book will sell in a America that has regained its sanity. But it will be a best seller because groups like James Dobson’s will buy in bulk, skewing the numbers in a real way, not Billo fantasyland ratings way.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:20 pmI had to say it – Me Too!!! Please add me to your book
December 7th, 2008 at 11:31 pmI got an advanced copy, and my name is on page 678,442.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:43 pmIf I were Rove I would concentrate on those who actually think that the “Shrub” was worth a damn, he would have at least a workable number. Of course that won’t happen so if there is room Mr.Rove please get my name in your book, I would be honored to be among those who are sure to make it.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:58 pmI want my name on page 666,666.
December 8th, 2008 at 1:09 amWith all of the HATE being thrown around here, one would think that Freedom of Speech is only for Select People.
Be glad that Karl Rove still has the Freedom to write his “Tattle Tale” book.
Be glad that the Potty Mouths can spew their Hateful Profanities without fear of retribution.
December 8th, 2008 at 2:05 amWhere do I sign up for the Bush/Rove Enemies List? I’d be willing to pay to be on the list. Seriously.
December 8th, 2008 at 2:33 amIf I were Rove’s teacher I would make him stay after school for the rest of his life writing the names of all the people who never accepted the legitimacy of the Bush presidency. And perhaps a short paragraph after each name explaining why that individual was so unreceiving of Mr. Bush. Rove devised his own perfect punishment. If he actually carried out that assignment he might learn something. Just let me add my voice to the mighty chorus, “Put me in the book!”
December 8th, 2008 at 2:46 amWHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE ALL WAKEUP THERE IS ONLY ONE POLITICAL PARTY IN USA. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO WINS THE ELECTIONS THEY ALL SERVE THE DEMON-OCRACY NOT THE DEMOCRACY. THIS COUNTRY HAS BEEN HI-JACK BY A VICIOUS GANG OF HYBRIDS. UNTIL YOU ALL STOP THINKING THAT THE GREATEST LIE THAT HAS BEEN TOLD IS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE MAN. THERE ARE TWO INHABITANTS ON THIS PLANET MAN AND MANKIND. WAKE UP FROM YOUR BANKRUPT IMAGINATION. THE DNA PROJECT IS SO THAT THEY MANKIND CAN USE YOUR OWN GENETIC CODES AGAINST YOU. DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE LIVE LONGER, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY ALL THOSE PENSION. THEY HAVE USED YOUR TAX DOLLARS TO LEARN HOW TO KILL YOU LEGALLY AND TO CREATE MENTAL DECAY IN THE THINKING PROCESS. THE CHEMICALS BEING USED IN THE FOOD IS TO SLOWLY DESTROY THE RESISTANCE OF YOU INNATE CREATIVE MENTAL PROCESS.
WAKE UP BEFORE 2010 THIS IS THE YEAR OF THE INTRODUCTION OF MADOC A NEW NANO-CHEMICAL THAT WILL DESTROY ALL TRUE MENTAL ALPHA AND BETA WAVES. THIS PROCESS WILL START TO CREATE THE MATRIX IN YOUR MENTAL ABILITIES TO BE EASIER FOR THE MANKIND TEAM TO CONTROL AND MANIPULATE YOUR REALITY, INTO THE REELITY THAT THEY CAN CONTROL WITH FREQUENCY’S.
FROM WASHINTON TO OBAMA THIS HAS BEEN THE PLAN ALONG TO CREATE A NATION OF (OR SHOULD I SAY A HIVE) MINDLESS SLAVES. THEY USE THE MUSIC AND TEL-LIE-VISON, ALONG WITH THE POL-LIE- TICIANS TO SET THE STAGE FOR ALL OF THE WARS, MURDERS, CRISIS AND SHORTAGES.
WATCHINGTHEDEMONS
December 8th, 2008 at 4:22 amIF YOU DO NOT THINK THAT THE WORLD IS CONTROLLED BY A GANG OF HYBRIDS KNOWN HAS THE MANKIND THEN YOU ARE ALREADY UNDER THE CONTROL AND YOUR ALPHA AND BETA BRAIN WAVE ARE ENSLAVED. THEY LOOK LIKE, ACT LIKE AND PRETEND TO BE MAN. THEY ARE ACTUALLY A MANUFACTURED HYBRID. ALL OF THE LEADERS IN EUROPE AND MANY OF THE COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD ARE BEING REPLACE BY THE HYBRIDS. MANY OF THESE HYBRIDS ARE USING A CHEMICAL NANO-AGENT TO CONTINUE TO LOOK AND APPEAR HAS HUMAN.
SO START LOOKING AT THE ACTIONS OF YOUR POL-LIE-TICIANS AND SEE THAT YOU ARE BEING DUPED. THE DRUGS, CHEMICALS AND FREQUENCIES IS TO CREATE THE ENVIRONMENT TO DECREASE THE ABILITY OF YOUR BRAIN TO UNDERSTAND AND DISTIGUISH THE REALITY AND THE REEL-ALITY.

December 8th, 2008 at 4:39 amYou can’t polish a turd. I hope that jackass remembers to name me.
December 8th, 2008 at 4:48 amKarl Rove is himself, a Terrorist, by our own government’s definition:
http://plungerspeaks.blogspot.com
Arrest him.
December 8th, 2008 at 5:15 amI don’t think a single book will cover the number of people in Wahington who don’t like GW and Rove wants to name. Better be working on a trilogy!!
December 8th, 2008 at 5:44 amThat would make it bigger than any phonebook in history. He’s no friend of the environment…
December 8th, 2008 at 8:20 amRove is threatening to tattle tale.
December 8th, 2008 at 8:39 amWhat a cry baby! Don’t these people ever go away to Argentina like the old Nazis they are? Will ANYONE buy a book by Rove?
December 8th, 2008 at 8:46 amKarl, list me under F for eff ewe.
I don’t know what Rove is smoking, but most people didn’t think that Bush’s selection by the SCOTUS in 2000 made him a legitimate president.
Name all the names you want to, Karl, but be sure to get mine right.
December 8th, 2008 at 8:47 amRove planning to ‘name names’ of Bush haters in his new book.
Heh. That book has already been published. It’s called the White Pages.
December 8th, 2008 at 11:53 amOh, and Karl…?
L-E-F-T-S-I-D-E A-N-N-I-E
Certified Bush Hater
Thanks. ;o)
December 8th, 2008 at 12:02 pmPut my name at the TOP of that list, K-K-K-Karl. And let’s start a list of Constitution-haters as well, with YOUR name at the top.
Wait, tell me again why the utterances of this fat pig make any difference to the nation anymore? Can you say “irrelevant”?
December 8th, 2008 at 12:08 pmLike being on Richard M. Nixon’s enemy list, being named in this book for “hating Bush” will be a badge of honor.
December 8th, 2008 at 12:41 pmKarl- Have you actually found a publisher yet – or is this just a teaser to try to drum up some interest?
Remember, most justice jurisdictions have a rule forbidding convicted felons from profiting from publishing or any money generating scheme. Better get your kid or wife to “author” it. On the other hand, back cover pictures of authors in orange always help sales.
Please, when you get your contract, set up a web site where we can send our names to be included. I’m sure TP will help out by notifying us when this happens.
You, Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, AG’s, the Walrus, and all the lies, lies, lies and incompetence helped convince the rest of us we would be proud to be in such a book.
Don’t forget to include the names of probably 1 million DEAD Iraqis. It’ll be quite a research project, to assemble the names but we know you’re up to it Turd Blossom -.
December 8th, 2008 at 4:46 pmYo Karl … where do I submit my name?
December 8th, 2008 at 7:39 pmMan oh man…that’s going to be one LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG book. By my count, the Bush Admin. must have about 100 million enemies…in the U.S. alone!
Pathetic. Will they never realize that they have presided over the biggest “leadership” disaster in the history of the nation, and that the last thing they ought to be paying any attention to is who their “enemies” are. Like that will redeem them…
December 8th, 2008 at 8:45 pmNoMoSheeples Says:
Ha you DEFINE Sheeple. I had to read your post twice. The first time it looked like BAAAAAA. Look you moron. Freedom of speech doesnt mean that you get to say what you want and no one gets to criticise you. I know the rightwing screechmonkey that does your thinking for you led you to believe it does but anyone with an IQ higher than lint knows better. You or Rove get your say. THEN we get to tell you what we THINK about what you say and THAT is also covered by the first amendment. Why are you so stupid?
December 9th, 2008 at 12:23 amLet’s offer to publish the book for Karl Rove if he gives it to us in manuscript form. Even if he writes one name per second, 86,400 names per day, 31,536,000 names per year, it’ll take him many lifetimes to write 6,000,000,000 names.
December 9th, 2008 at 3:46 amAdd me to the list, Turdblossom.
December 11th, 2008 at 6:18 pm
