Joe the Plumber lashes out: McCain ‘appalled me,’ ‘I wanted to get off the bus.’

joeplum-mccainpoint.jpgJoe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher has a book coming out later this month, called “Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream.” He previewed it on Glenn Beck’s radio show, revealing that “a lot of liberals are going to love” some of his criticisms about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). He was particularly angry about McCain’s support for the $700 billion financial bailout:

WURZELBACHER: When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen. Yet he voted for it. … And I asked him some pretty direct questions. Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.

BECK: Really? Now why didn’t you get off the bus?

WURZELBACHER: Um, you know, honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.

Listen here:

Wurzelbacher said he supported McCain only because he was “kinda the lesser of two evils.” However, his criticism of McCain didn’t extend to his running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). “Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.

Don’t be scared, Joe, Obama won’t pay any attention to you whatsoever. He has a tendency to drop people who bullshit him.

  2. RUCerious says:

Yeah, right. You’re freakin fifteen minutes of fame came at the price of your soul, didn’t they SamJoe the unlicensed day labor can’t actually legally drive guy!

  3. spicecakes69 says:

Palin is the real deal as opposed to the blow up woman he keeps in his closet. Puhleeeeze – he hung around for what he could get out of it and his attempts to put “sumpin” in Sarah …
he’s just as phoney as McCain/Palin

  4. Zooey says:

    Joe the Dumb-assed weasel.

  5. Nevar says:

Saruhh needs you in Alaska, Joe. There’s lot of burst pipes, no ones going to ask if you’re licensed, and it’s dark all the time.

  6. RUCerious says:

Umm, SamJoe, the Arizone Drivers License Bureau would like you to call them. Heh.

  7. wisedup says:

I hate to tell you this joe,but America likes FORREST GUMP better…sorry.

  8. lokidog says:

    What’s next?

A book from that old lady bigot that McInsane grabbed the microphone from when she was sh*tting her pants over Obama being an “Arab”?

Working title: “Gramma The Bigot: Fighting For Whitey” by Regnery Publishing.

  9. RUCerious says:

Would someone please have a camcorder rolling when this idiot goes to renew his Ohio driver’s license? Thanks, I’ll be looking for it on the MeTubes…

  10. lvdragonlady says:

WHY is the clown still getting air time?

  11. Roket says:

BECK: Really? Now why didn’t you get off the bus?

WURZELBACHER: Um, you know, honestly, because then I would have had to pay for my own way back home. Corporate Welfare rules!1!1!

  12. Leftside Annie says:

Why, that ungrateful wretch!! Tossing the guy who gave him his 15 minutes of fame directly under the bus! Shame!

    Oh, the humanity!!!!

    /snark ;O)

  13. Nevar says:

Joe: “In fact I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”

BECK: “Really? Now why didn’t you get off the bus?”

Joe: “‘Cause it was dark and we were in Pennsylvania….”

  14. suziq says:

WTF??? He will move to Alaska as soon as the IRS starts checking up on him…

  15. Cats r Flyfishn says:

Joe the Plumber will do anything for a buck. He must be out of his mind if he thinks that “liberals” are going to love parts of his books because he trashes McCain. This is a non story. Now if Joe the Plumber was telling Beck that he just took a job as a pole dancer, well, that would be different. It would interesting and worth reading.

  16. Witch1 says:

These guy’s are all alike..He’s no diffrent than newt, o,lilie, limpballs or beck…Well with one exception they all make money off their crazyness.

.Her’s some advice joe, take the pipe wrench, buy a ticket to Alaska and leave your coat and shoe’s at home, it’s spring time in palin town…LOL….Blessings

  17. rmwarnick says:

The bus driver told him his 15 minutes of fame were up, but he stayed on the bus anyway.

  18. liberalinaredstate says:

What a snarky little a%*hole. Who in the hell does he think is? A pulitzer prize winning economist, a foreign affairs expert, a historian perhaps. He’s dilusional and creepy, perfect for Palin’s future political aspirations. Go figure, Glenn Beck interviewed him!

  19. Perry logan says:

I still say he’s a character from a Jackie Gleason sketch.

  20. mausium says:

Nothing on Glenn Beck’s show is ever interesting and worth hearing.

  21. Tired Of Fighting says:

F Joe the “unlicensed, tax-evading” Plumber. All this talk about this idiot, and the love affair between him and the Repuppetcans, while Art and Arlene “the Auto Worker’s” may not have a job. Lets talk about “real” Americans and not some B-rated celeb like Samuel “the sycophant”.

If Joe the Unlicensed Plumber tells us that Caribou Barbie is the “real deal” then I have great hopes for Caribou Barbie in the 2012 election. Maybe Caribou Barbie will select Joe the Unlicensed Plumber for her running mate since he’s the “real deal” also.

  23. jondor says:

Palin is the real deal: ignorant, dogmatic, and uninformed like Joe.

  24. gummitch says:

He previewed it on Glenn Beck’s radio show, revealing that “a lot of liberals are going to love” some of his criticisms about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Uh, no, sorry “Joe”. There aren’t a lot of liberals that will even read your little self-published pamphlet. In fact, there are probably zero liberals who will read it.

  25. pdennany says:

If the plumber is real, he had plenty of opportunity to make be heard. He was right in the media scene when the Bail-out issue came up. Too late now, I doubt there will be many rushing to buy his book.

  26. sectionop92 says:

It’s nice Joe still has a friend to reach out to in Glenn Beck, that will actually return his calls. Maybe not so now.

Hopefully both of them and Sarah Plain and Dumb will all be forgotten and rendered inert and useless by 2012. Maybe not Sarah, if her skirt hemlines go north for party approval.

  27. Dirty Hippie says:

If you believe Sarah Palin is the real deal, you probably believe this putz is a real plumber.

  28. rogerD says:

Perhaps now would be a good time for Sam the Non-Plumber to STFU.

The rest of us have more important things to think about.

    He’s not one of them.

  29. abarts says:

Wait. He read a book, or wrote one?

  30. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    gummitch,

For any liberals whio might be, you know, curious, about what’s in his book, I recommend waiting for it to be published, then checking it out of their local library. That way, Joe doesn’t see a dime of your money.

  31. RUCerious says:

Yo! SamJoe! Go check out Palin’s plumbing, wouldja? Toddster’s out to sea in a few months, good times to be had for all!

  32. 49erDem says:

I’m hoping “Joe” starts calling himself a “Palin-republican” and continues using that word to describe himself for the next few years.

  33. McWars says:

Joe simply wanted to make a lot of money and he’s lashing out at McCain for not staying on as his marketing tool after the election. So no, Mr. Wurtzelbacher, there will be no visible charitable foundation in your name, no multi-dollar book deal, and no lucrative speaking gigs. Please get back to work and work on obtaining your license.

  34. McWars says:

Oh, and Mr. Wurtzelbacher, if your book contains the criticism of McCain not being conservative enough, don’t expect admiration out of us, unless you intend to own up to your party’s smear campaigning, fear mongering, and scorched-earth governance style.

  35. gummitch says:

    Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    gummitch,

For any liberals whio might be, you know, curious, about what’s in his book, I recommend waiting for it to be published, then checking it out of their local library. That way, Joe doesn’t see a dime of your money.

The only problem with that strategy is that the “publisher” is a vanity press in Texas with one other title in the catalog–written by the “publisher.” It looks like sales will be limited to online purchases from the “store” (the publisher) and it’s highly unlikely that any self-respecting library will buy a copy.

The “publisher” is apparently the ghost writer for joe’s book. If more than 10 people buy the book, I’ll be amazed. Even the dippiest wingnut is unlikely to care enough about Joe’s opinions to waste the money.

  36. 49erDem says:

I don’t know. Wingnuts are getting pretty damn dippy these days.

  37. impeachcheneythenbush says:

For a guy who never bothered to get his plumbing license, pay his taxes and was on welfare once or twice, he’s got an awful big mouth that is only matched by his miniscule brain. I hope his agents take him for about 90-95% of any money he makes.

  38. mausium says:

“It’s nice Joe still has a friend to reach out to in Glenn Beck, that will actually return his calls. Maybe not so now.”

Who else is going to go on Glenn Beck’s show? I bet he gets a great Bush “scoop” when he starts making his post-presidential Fox rounds to hawk his book.

  39. drago says:

    Wurzelbacher is a F**KTARD!

  40. barfly says:

Joe the Plumber lashes out: McCain ‘appalled me,’ ‘I wanted to get off the bus.’

Geez. Ask him to unclog the Straight Talk Express’ toilet once, and he gets all huffy.

  41. dbadass says:

I love SamJoe Stone Cold Steve Austin the white trash plumber’s gopher. You can’t make this sort of stupid shit up. The boy is so being played and yet he seems to think he is some sort of meaningful person. I hope someone advises him to bank a little of whatever he is making during his brief moment in the absurdity limelight so as to have that nest egg for when his silly ass is thrown to the curb by those exploiting his lame ass

  42. sectionop92 says:

Given the Plunger’s last name is Wurzelbacher, you’d think he’d want to do commercials with McCain.

Just give McCain a set of big bifocals, bad threads for them both and they could both sell Wurzelbacher popcorn. At least it would extend their fame instead in an outward direction, instead of having JTP be the Gary Coleman of politics.

  43. Jackie says:

Now Joe is losing steam and attention. Joe made a point to push his way to speak to Obama, now why would he want to talk to a man that scares him. Watching the video of that meaning Joe didn’t seem scared but excited in meeting the candidate. Now I guess his best friend John McCain wont answer his calls and is finished using him. Joe brought into the McCain/Palin scam and now he’s paying for it. Talking stupid wont pay the bills for Joe the unlicensed Plummer.

  44. Bozo The Neoclown says:

why is this manwhore getting media attention these days?

  45. Anonymouse says:

Is McCain going to be savaged twice by fellow Republicans? SC in 1999 was bad enough, but if he gets thrown under the Palin bus…

I suppose it might be seen as karmic payback for his personal life (re: first wife).

  46. Bozo The Neoclown says:

joe the welfare cheat not even a plumber is in for a rude awakening if he thinks liberals would bother to read the swill he’s writing. what’s the anticipated printing? 15,000 copies?

  47. dbadass says:

So who is ghost writing this thing? That stupid annoying “Git r Done” guy or is it that “You might be a redneck” not so funny comic whose name I have no interest in knowing or remembering?

  48. Game of Life says:

Why doesn’t he go away like the chick who got “beat up” because of her mcmummy/mooseyak bumpersticker?

  49. RWeSafer says:

This guy makes my teeth hurt…

  50. lm945 says:

Of course he thinks Sarah Palin is great. He’s just like her.

Dragging out his 15 minutes of fame for as long as possible.

  51. darter22 says:

Why is Sam the not-a-plumber still getting airtime?

  52. TRDaggett says:

“Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.

    - That just about says it all about Joe’s intellect/politics.
Joe votes with his dick and/or he’s exceptionally stupid.

  53. susanwilliams says:

OMG Sarah Palin is so lame, i saw on MSNBC The Complete Book of the Collected Wisdom of Sarah Palin in here own words — it’s blank which is perfect. i can’t believe joe the non plumber is still milking his time and saying she has a force! ooooh, she’s a jedi now!

  54. IgnoranceIsNotBliss says:

“Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said

She sure is the real deal: the real delusional deal that is.

  55. jpopphan says:

No worries, “Joe”. The right-wing machine will go into full swing to make sure you sell lots of books. Well, they will buy up thousands of them (like they do for Ann Coulter) to drive up your ratings and try to put you on the bestseller list. Meanwhile, those thousands of copies will moulder in a warehouse until they can find a place in a landfill for them.

And anyone who thinks that Sarah Palin is “the real deal” needs to be checked in to a mental hospital for observation. Clearly, you’re out of your mind.

  56. tarazan says:

The Plumber :”I was angry. In fact I wanted to get off the bus”.
But later a publisher came with a better idea…”Get a nice size check, and throw McCain under the bus”…

  57. tarazan says:

Is he groomed to be the W House spokesman for the ‘Real Deal’ Sarah Palin when she wins?.

When was it the last time this guy did any plumbing work ?!

  58. KYJurisDoctor says:

Can you say: Joe the IDIOT!?!

  59. MapleStreet says:

Oh, so **NOW** he wants off the bus, but he didn’t say that before the election.

I happen to like ferrets and weasels. So I can’t use those terms in a perjorative sense.

    You sir are no weasel.
