President-elect Barack Obama believes that Gov. Rod Blagojevich should resign. “The President-elect agrees with Lt. Gov. Quinn and many others that under the current circumstances it is difficult for the governor to effectively do his job and serve the people of Illinois,” said incoming White House press secretary Robert Gibbs. Obama is joining Sen. Dick Durbin and others in calling for a special election.
How about 4:20 this afternoon, Blagojevich?
December 10th, 2008 at 12:49 pmAs a resident of Illinois I wonder why we aren’t taking to the streets demanding his resignation.
December 10th, 2008 at 12:56 pmDemocrats calling for a special election which at least has the potential for a Republican being elected to replace Obama. THIS is “country first”.
December 10th, 2008 at 12:59 pmPat Quinn will make an excellent governor. He is very progressive and honest. He should have been governor in the first place.

mebbe cuz you remember the LAST time people in Illinois took to the streets for justice, in august, 68?
December 10th, 2008 at 1:02 pmThere are big names of former and current Law Makers involved in the crimes G-Rod committed and like Nixon resigning can save them all. G-Rod was an equal opportunity criiminal Govenor who enlisted those from both Republican/Democrat Parties. List of names to protect are Illinois Attorney General/crook Lisa Madigan, Deputy Govenor Peters and a name we know well former Rep. Dennis Hastert. Yes there’s also a very rich man with connections who would be more then willing to gave one million for the Senate seat.
December 10th, 2008 at 1:14 pmPOOR OLD ROWDY RODDY
THERE GOES YOUR ASPIRATIONS FOR PRESIDENT
December 10th, 2008 at 1:23 pmHe was only conducting himself in such a manner so as to at least be considered as a potential candidate for the seat himself.
December 10th, 2008 at 1:41 pmWonder how it is that Obama so quickly and rightly speaks up on the corruption of the Govenor, but remains silent on the hoax wars on terror that is bringing this country down. Everyone that has really looked knows that the World Trade Center came down as a result of very well planned demolition that had to be wired prior to 9-11, and could not have been done by anyone except insiders. Why wasn’t there any real investigation, and why hasn’t the President Elect Obama yet spoken up at all except to press on with the hoax war on terror that has never been justified?
December 10th, 2008 at 1:59 pmAs I predicted yesterday Jesse Jackson Jr. is the guy to watch. I think he may be in trouble.
December 10th, 2008 at 2:00 pmAnyone with a shred of honor and integrity would resign immediately. I guess that’s why Blago is staying.
OT: Is that Blago’s real hair?

________
You’re right. He also hasn’t given a press conference on all those faked moon landings, or the government cover-up of crashed flying saucers, or the secret mind-control doomsday death ray device at Area 51.
Why oh why won’t Obama talk more about ridiculous nutjob conspiracy theories???
