I’m predicting the wingnuts will cite this as “proof” that Obama is a secret Muslim with a secret terrorist agenda.

But I applaud it. I’d like to see Obama use his middle name as often as possible for the same reason so many of us here have inserted “Hussein” into our posting handles. People will eventually disassociate the name from evil.

Gotcha. The way you were describing it earlier, it implied that any attack on Israel – conventional, terrorist, or other – would result in a nuclear response by the U.S. I guess I read too far into it…

That’s not quite accurate – the Haaretz article stated that a nuclear attack on Israel by Tehran would result in a nuclear response against Iran. Since Iran does not currently have nuclear capability and very likely won’t for the forseeable future now that oil is at $50/barrel, it’s really an empty gesture.

Besides, we all know that Israel is perfectly capable of its own nuclear response against Iran – this leakfest is just a little attempt to catapult the propaganda that Israel is a non-nuclear state.
