No the Republicans are hiding from responsibility once again-whatever concessions the Union offered wouldn’t have made a difference here because the R’s know that W will pony up the cash out of the TARP funds to keep the Big Three at least solvent through Jan. 20 and then they can blame the ‘bailout’ deal on Bush (who they’ve thrown under the bus anyway) Obama and the Demoratic Congress… they also think they see a chance to get rid of unions altogether but by refusing to compromise early they are helping to assure that the USA is going to get single-payer healthcare and CEO salary caps… that’s the deal.
