Sorry. Christianity is a choice. So are Islam, Judaism, and other religions. As such, why should they receive protection under the law?

Now, if one wishes to compare apples to apples, one must look at individuals. You know? David Koresh(sp?), Jim Jones, clinic bombers, witch hunters, and various fundamentalist terrorists. Not to mention the twisted psychos from the Westboro Baptist Church.

And, if one wishes to examine religiously motivated genocide, one would be remiss in excluding the virtual extinction of Native Americans who refused to convert to Christianity. Also, by bitty-brain’s “logic”, one would need to blame several plague pandemics on the Crusades.

Where is the part where you contrast these numbers you quote with numbers of people killed in the name of religion?

You have any numbers for those? And what about all the people killed by disease and overpopulation because there is a concerted refusal of religious entities to refuse to discuss birth control with them? Have any number for those, baconbit?

Ever notice that when Bitbit mentions “ex-gays” or people who “claim” to have changed their sexual orientation, that not one single time has Bitbit ever made mention to a number in regards to Bitbit’s claims?

One would assume that anti-gay groups, such as NARTH & Exodus, would be more than willing to state the number of people who’ve “succeeded” in their “programs”. Unless, of course, that these programs are not quite as successful as these groups proclaim.
