Yesterday, TVNewser reported that Fox News’ John Gibson would be filling Bill O’Reilly’s radio slot on Fox News radio. Now, Page Six reports that former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is “the leading candidate” to succeed Bill O’Reilly’s radio show on Westwood One. Giuliani and Westwood are reportedly in negotiations. Giuliani is not without radio experience. As mayor, he hosted a weekly call in show, which resulted in one memorable incident where he berated a ferret owner as “deranged.” Listen to it:

Well, he needs a job.
Perhaps manual labor would be more to his liking, though.
December 17th, 2008 at 10:27 amThe Rudy Giuliani show! Tune in to 91.1 FM on your radio dial!
December 17th, 2008 at 10:29 amone good turd deserves another………………
December 17th, 2008 at 10:31 amwell, he sure has a face for radio…
December 17th, 2008 at 10:34 amIs there any doubt left that politicians and media are in bed together?
December 17th, 2008 at 10:35 amThat’s why Rove,Huckabee, Giuliani and others are all working for Fox network.
Fox network might call the new show – G’Reilly..!
Who CARES ?
December 17th, 2008 at 10:37 amIt was fox or used cars. Only the type of choice that assh… could hope for.
December 17th, 2008 at 10:39 amAwesome. This means he’s out of politics for good. Once you do right-wing talk radio, the opposition research will have so much ammo on you that you can’t even run for dogcatcher.
December 17th, 2008 at 10:54 amI guess Westwood is trying to generate enough losses to ask for that sweet, sweet bailout money. A Giuliani radio show would be a big help there.
December 17th, 2008 at 10:54 am“Gheezs, that’d ssbe ssswell, sssthanksss…”
How does one with a speech impediment get a job, in which the first priority is speaking?
December 17th, 2008 at 10:55 amMaybe he negotiate to do a few shows in drag, that would be something to see on Fox.
December 17th, 2008 at 11:00 amSort of OT but still a good song especially on a free day without work

December 17th, 2008 at 11:04 am“Snow falls, 911. Traffic jammed, 911. Man killed, 911. Store robbed, 911. Conservatism losing, 911. Market improving, 911. Healthcare reformed, 911. Obama reelected, 911″
Hmm, doesn’t seem like a very interesting program. I think I’ll just pass.
December 17th, 2008 at 11:06 amWell shufferin’ shuccotasshh! Stick a loofa up my behind and color me shocked! Well, if anyone had a face for radio it would have to be Ghouliani.
December 17th, 2008 at 11:08 amPut them in a bag, shake it and pour them out — Giulilani, Gibson, Hannity, O’Reilly, Limbaugh — won’t make any difference which one you choose, they’re all the same.
December 17th, 2008 at 11:33 amRudy needs a job bad things haven’t been going well. He needs to help Burnie with his trial and the New AG Eric Holder will find out crimes that Rudy committed, so he’ll need to lawyer up.
December 17th, 2008 at 11:45 amSo what is the difference between O’Reilley and Ghooliani ? How will we know that they have changed positions ?
December 17th, 2008 at 11:47 amSo, it will be the slurry Guiliani or the blurry Gibson to replace the faus-burly O’Reilly. I, surely, will not care.
December 17th, 2008 at 12:25 pmI hope he gets the job…and he can expect me and others to call every day regardless of the subject and ask why building 7 was not mentioned in the 911 Commission Report???? Why did building seven fall 5 hours after the first plane hit the first building????
Go ahead rudy take the job…and we’ll make sure your life is miserable recounting the facts of 9/11 .
The truth shall come out.
December 17th, 2008 at 12:58 pmThe former mayor of 9/11 getting a radio show!?! Who the phuck would want to listen to that pompous ass and his lisp?
December 17th, 2008 at 1:17 pmWhy not a good liberal voice on the radio? The corporate media could spare the airtime.
December 17th, 2008 at 2:07 pmWould he preface every sentence with “The Reality is” and finish with “during 9/11″….as he did during the republican runoff…?
December 17th, 2008 at 7:21 pmenough is enough…go away.
And no one will listen , no one wanted to listen to this fool during the elections why would anyone care now?
