Drunk George Tenet lashed out at Bush’s neocons: ‘The Jews’ who tried to ‘pin the Iraq WMD fiasco on him.’
Atlantic reporter Jeffrey Goldberg recently picked up a copy of Patrick Tyler’s forthcoming book, A World of Trouble, which focuses on “America’s tortured relations with the Middle East.” Goldberg says that the book’s prologue contains a “whopper of a scene” featuring former CIA director George Tenet “drunk on scotch, flailing about Prince Bandar’s Riyadh pool, screaming about the Bush Administration officials who were just then trying to pin the Iraq WMD fiasco on him.” Tyler reports that Tenet also “mocked the neoconservatives in the Bush administration” as “the Jews“:
According to one witness, he mocked the neoconservatives in the Bush administration and their alignment with the right wing of Israel’s political establishment, referring to them with exasperation as, “the Jews.”
A footnote in Tyler’s book says that Tenet “initially denied staying at Prince Bandar’s palace, then denied that he had said anything in the pool.” “He disputed the remarks attributed to him and denied that his memory might have been affected by the amount of alcohol he was reported to have consumed on top of a sleeping pill,” reports Tyler.

Nah, that’s not even remotely true.
First of all, Iran would be destroying, or at least making uninhabitable, Jerusalem/al-Quds, the third holiest site in Islam. That’s not going to win them any friends among their Arab neighbors.
Secondly, the absence of Israel as a regional hegemony would allow other back-burner tensions between Levantine neighbors to boil to the surface, particularly as the aquifers supplying Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan dry up.
Thirdly, Iran does not have nuclear weapons and won’t for the forseeable future. They know full well that such an action would cut them from the rest of the world, whose Euros they depend on to placate their underemployed and increasingly disaffected populace with social programs.
So, no, we would not have world peace in a world without Israel.
We might, however, have much more world peace in a world where Israel gives the Palestinians the rights they deserve under the Geneva conventions, or – better yet – gives them their land back.

They should be tried and hung as traitors. Why do we allow people with dual citizenship and non-US loyalties into positions of power in the government?
These Jews (a loose term since they are neither religious nor moral) would sell their soul and the US for Mother Zion. They murdered dozens on the USS liberty without remorse and allowed thousands to die on 9/11.
Time to rethink that plan from the 40s!

December 18th, 2008 at 7:03 pmThe situation of Jews in the US and Europe today is not much different than in GErmany in the late 1920s and ‘30, when a combination of economic depression and the post war situation made the scapegoating of Jews for Germany’s loss of WWI and the subsequent difficulties fashionable. Nothing has really changed, except that the word “Jew” has been replaced by such more “PC” euphemisms such as “Zionists” or “neocons.”
December 19th, 2008 at 2:34 pmThey’ve even attempted to pin 9/11 on the “Zionists.” As my mother, a holocaust survivor, told me as a child, that antisemitism is in the blood, and while it may go underground for a while, never really goes away. Thankfully, today there is a Jewish state where Jews can defend themselves if required. Otherwise, not much has really changed.

For example, Paul Wolfowitz belongs to no synagogue, no Jewish organizations, but he does have an Arab girlfriend. Ask any knowledgeable member of the Jewish community, and they will tell you that in the past Wolfowitz has always associated with the Arabs!
And for those who say, “Wait a minute! The entire war was fought only for Israel’s sake!” Sorry. Hate to burst your bubble, but the neo-cons don’t give a damn about Israel. We now know that Israel opposed the US invasion. According to those present at Bush’s private talks with then PM Sharon, Sharon told Bush not to attack Saddam because it would open the gate for Iranian expansion and cause other problems. Note the comments of former State Department official Lawrence Wilkerson, who is one of these eyewitnesses. Just do a web search. There are plenty of news stories on this.
