In other words? the ‘dick’ is sure that the re-write of these days will be completed and only all the changes of the facts and events will be around. So, those 30 year later historians will have a parade of totally bogus crap to review, on what else can they base their opinion?

george W and company in 30 years will look every bit like the ‘hero’ Mathews thought he saw on that glowing day of “Mission Accomplished”.

Who are these people who think that Ford was right to pardon Nixon? The respect that people had for Ford at his passing had more to do with his being the last Republican president before “Republican” became synonymous with “far right.”

You do realize Bush and Cheney are very popular right now in the present.

*Popular with 18 percent of America that adore their every move Limbaugh speaks to them of.

*Popular with the 72% that desire him to leave office now instead of waiting to Jan 20.

*Bush is popular with shoe throwers.

*While Cheney is popular with his Attorney he shot in the face (still).

*No doubt both will be very popular with everyone that was tortured and imprisoned in general round ups anad had nothing to do with terrorism.

*Their entire Adm is popular in New Orleans and will be for at least 30 years to come.

*Extremely popular in America on the domestic economy front.

*Bush will be so very popular and in great demand for speaking events after he leaves office. Every university will be using him to promote, ” get an education or end up like Bush”.

President Ford is a traitor. His actions in pardoning Nixon set us up for the travesty of the Bush administration. It gave the impression that crimes no matter how large would not be prosecuted. Unfortunately, Obama is likely to follow after Ford and pardon, or at least decline to prosecute, the crimes of the Bush administration.

However, in this metaphor I think Bush is more akin to Nixon than to Ford.
