Today around 10:45 a.m. ET, President Bush began speaking about domestic policies at the American Enterprise Institute and President-elect Obama began his press conference announcing his picks to fill the SEC, Federal Reserve Board, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Both MSNBC and CNN ignored the lame-duck president and chose to cover Obama’s remarks. Fox News originally aired Bush’s speech, but even that Bush-friendly network switched to Obama’s remarks after a few minutes.
