Biden to chair ‘White House Task Force On Working Families.’
President-elect Barack Obama will form a “White House Task Force on Working Families,” to be chaired by Vice President Joe Biden. According to a transition team press release, “The Task Force will be a major initiative targeted at raising the living standards of middle-class, working families in America.” On ABC’s This Week, Biden explained:
My focus is going to be, I’m going to chair this group and it is designed to do the one thing we use as a yardstick of economic success of our administration, is the middle class growing? Is the middle class getting better? Is the middle class no longer being left behind? And we’ll look at everything from college affordability to after-school programs. The things that affect people’s daily lives. I will be the guy honchoing that policy.
The task force will be composed of the Secretaries of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Commerce, as well as the Directors of the National Economic Council, the Office of Management and Budget, the Domestic Policy Council, and the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors. It will conduct outreach sessions with representatives of labor, business, and the advocacy communities.

Since Max Headroom Ronnie Raygun spewed forth his traitorous 11 words for all to be afraid of: “I am from the government and I am here to help.” No one has listened to the continuous traitorous vile GOP eminations and their desire to circumvent the Constitution at every possible turn. All Rightwing radio, Christ-fascist preachers, K-street “think tank”, and crap like Grover UNdies-in-a-twist, “I want to shrink government to the size it fits in a bathtub and then drown it. HELLO!!! that is MY government, and the ONE your Heir Leader has sworn to defend and uphold. Yeah right. ANd then we have the LOVELY PNAC.
The GOP needs to be executed, entombed in concrete, have lye poured into the tomb, and then blasted off in a rocket to the sun.

The middle class is the backbone of the nation and they have been systematically, dramatically, and deliberately ignored and undermined.

We have had no advocate for so long, that cynicism is high – I am eager to see progress in the middle class benefiting from government for a change. The uber-rich, the well-connected, and the repugs can go eff themselves.

As Bush/Cheney have brought down the Middle Class in this recession it seem petty interest of Rick Warren and what Fox News said is more important. After 8 years of a White House dictating and stealing with an arrest of anyone who speaks up it is hard to remember what America was like before the illegal invasion of the Bush Administration. Let’s hope the voters become more grateful for getting their jobs, homes and life savings back. Obama/Biden are working for the American people and following the US Constitution while Bush/Cheney committed the crimes of the century.
