Former Canadian General Roméo Dallaire would highly disagree with the current Canadian General Rick Hillier. Roméo was greatly affected by Rwanda and testified extensively in war crimes trial. Bolton and Hillier seems to ignore that humanitarian efforts require proper planning and Rwanda was NOT done with the required urgency. Seems odd for Hillier to agree with Bolton given how the the war in Afghanistan has gone.

Just wanted to let you all know that Hillier does not speak for all Canadians, just like Bolton doesn’t speak for Americans.
