My position as the ruler of the free world is a very important, dangerous and stressful job as the citizens of the planet rely on me to remain safe from terrorists and liberals.

Now because of my importance to the free world you must understand that you, my grandchildren must remain eating and living healthy on the Organ Harvesting Farm, that your grandpa has forced, allowed you to live on.

Text of Cheney’s letter to the grandkids while acting President –

Dear Kate, Elizabeth, Grace, Philip, Richard and Sam,

As I write this, our nation is engaged in a war with terrorists of global reach. My principal focus as Vice President has been to help protect the American people and our way of life. The vigilance, diligence and unwavering commitment of those who protect our Nation has kept us safe from terrorist attacks of the kind we faced on September 11, 2001. We owe a special debt of gratitude to the members of our armed forces, intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies and others who serve and sacrifice to keep us safe and free.

As you grow, you will come to understand the sacrifices that each generation makes to preserve freedom and democracy for future generations, and you will assume the important responsibilities of citizens in our society. I ask of you as my grandchildren what I asked of my daughters, that you always strive in your lives to do what is right.

I’ve believe for a long time that during those few instances when Cheney was “acting President” while Bush was under the knife, he used that opportunity to issue pardons. Those pardons just have not yet been publicized because only he and the recipients know about them. And the only time the recipients will have to ever reveal the pardons is when they are threatened with legal consequences for their actions. At which point they will pull out the letters, signed by Dick.

Remember when Cheney “penned a letter” while “acting as POTUS” in 2007? The grandchildren letter was cute, but I’m sure he also penned a few more letters at that time.

Now the story can be told: Vice President Dick Cheney, who ran the country for a brief two hours and five minutes earlier this month while President Bush was sedated during medical screening for colon cancer, did do a bit of official work as acting president.

He wrote a letter to his grandchildren.

“A souvenir for them to have down the road someday,’’ Mr. Cheney said today, during an interview with Mark Knoller of CBS Radio.

During the 14-minute interview in his West Wing office, the vice president touched on a range of topics. On the felony conviction in the C.I.A. leak case of his former aide, I. Lewis Libby Jr., whose prison sentence was commuted by Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney said he disagreed with the jury’s guilty verdict. He also backed Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, saying he should keep his job. “I do. I’m a big fan of Al’s.”

Cheney has been described as a master of the bureaucracy.

Right, that’s why Toussie was a “Special Case”, just like Scooter Libby will be a “Special Case” too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cheney has giving the shrub a pardon for “Any actions past or present” while the shrub was having a colonoscopy looking for his brains. To reciprocate, the shrub gave Darth Cheney a meritious lifetime pardon for “Any actions past, present or in the future”. Because Cheney always wanted to be legally above the law.

Or maybe Cheney reviewed the pardon application with Bush personally.
