I realize that cause and effect are not necessarily inter related, however, there is that tricky bit about unintended consequences. What is it about Christians that frightens you so? Their militant dedication to Abolition, Women's Suffrage or the Civil Rights movement? Christians are the finest people among us. they are the ones who work thehardest, pay the most taxes and volunteer, almost exclusively, in their communities and schools. We have a saying at our school. If you need volunteers, call the local Christian church. If you need to raise money, call your local Christain church. Joe, the dance and the ring would not be my choice, but I do recognize the parent’s attempt to protect their daughters from becoming sexually active too soon. Most people seem to agree that some girls are vulnerable because of lack of self worth and/or feeling unloved. I feel no need to disparage parents who are attempting to make their daughters feel special for who they are so they don’t feel the need to look elsewhere for approval. ;)
