It’s not so hard to say goodbye to yesterday…

Alan Colmes and his radio show team put together this song to say goodbye to President Bush. Listen here:

That one about how “our enemy is innovative and rsourceful, and so are we; our enemy never stops thinking of ways to harm our country, and neither do we” has got to be one of my favorites. A Freudian slip if we ever heard one. They’ve spent eight years thinking of ways to harm our country.

  2. Zooey says:

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  3. Zooey says:

As a final goodbye to the Worst President Ever, please enjoy Wayne A. Schneider’s rock opera parody “Georgie.”

  4. cd says:

Screw Colmes he made a fortune by making liberals look like fools.

  6. Another Joe says:

    Saying goodbye is not enough.

We need to say HELLO to a special prosecutor and hold everyone accountable for their actions.

  7. Mathazar says:

Hmmmm,I just realized, I won’t have to mute my tee vee anymore. Well, except when whiney Sarah is on.

  8. ElBruce says:

Colmes has been gently tossing softballs to maniacs in the service of fascists.

But that clip is pretty awesome.

  9. Perry logan says:

It just makes you wish someone had thought of the “shoe-tossing option” years ago.

  10. Gary Herstein says:

Not a fan of Colmes, but its a decent piece. Myself, I rather like this one:

Loving all of these goodbye compilations, but the only time I want to hear or read about George W. Bush after January 20th is during the legal proceedings.

My wife and I have a rule that we generally follow and that is no alcohol during the week. This rule will be broken on Tuesday!

The TV will be on at work in the morning and party in the afternoon.
Our party is starting after the inaugural address -we’ll wear our tee shirts, drink a toast or two, and enjoy some food.

  14. livelongandprosper says:

Marie, we will be utilizing our TiVo as we both will be working during the day.

Notice when Bush says too many OBGYN’s are not able to practice their… their love with women across this country… the idiot audience applauds?

During the time frame of Aug. 02 until the beginning of our massacre in Mar. 03, Bush was out there, for 8 agonizing months terrorizing US with his constant phrase: Weapons of Mass Destruction..Weapons of Mass Destruction…Weapons of Mass Destruction.. But through this, he did get his congress and his invasion. Maybe WMD…WMD…WMD…WMD… could have bee a part of the song.

George W. Bush is responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

The American people would be profoundly misled if they subscribed to Goler’s view that Bush “inherited” the 9/11 attacks.

So when will the 11th hour pardons be official a.k.a. the biggest mass prison break seen outside of a comic book?

  18. jurassicpork says:

And I rewrote one to welcome the new administration.

Hell, I’ll cut the new President some slack. Why shouldn’t we, considering the tremendous challenges that await him? In fact, in the spirit of the inauguration, I even rewrote Mack the Knife. I think it’s a nice little ditty to hum while he takes the oath on Tuesday.

It is a mystery to me why Alan Colmes is not doing well on radio. He’s not very attractive, so the t.v. rating thing makes sense, but radio? He is bright, thoughtful, articulate, engaging, entertaining and helps shoot down right wing loons all the time. He is not a loony lefty either. As a conservative democrat I enjoy him. I really hope his show will catch on someday. Hannibaby and Thrush need to have a little competition in the arena of ideas.
