“Are conservative talk-show hosts eager to go on the attack, after years of defending Bush?” asks the Louisville Courier-Journal’s Larry Muhammad. The answer is clearly yes.
Barack Obama has not yet taken office, and Rush Limbaugh is already rooting for his failure. On his radio show last Friday, Limbaugh said, “I disagree fervently with the people on our [Republican] side of the aisle who have caved and who say, ‘Well, I hope he succeeds.’”
Limbaugh told his listeners that he was asked by “a major American print publication” to offer a 400-word statement explaining his “hope for the Obama presidency.” He responded:
So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, “Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.” (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here’s the point. Everybody thinks it’s outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, “Oh, you can’t do that.” Why not? Why is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: “Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.” Somebody’s gotta say it.
It hasn’t taken long for Limbaugh to reveal his core hypocrisy. In July 2006, with conservatives in power, Limbaugh offered one of his common screeds against the left. “I’m getting so sick and tired of people rooting for the defeat of the good guys,” he complained.
During the Clinton presidency in the 90s, Limbaugh would begin his show with a gimmick, purporting to count the days America had been “held hostage.” In May 2007, Limbaugh recalled:
Back when Clinton was inaugurated in 1993 and we began our America Held Hostage countdown, the number of days left until Clinton was gone so we’d all be released from bondage, the joke, do you remember how mad the liberals got at that? Do you remember how mad the Drive-Bys got at that? Then they started running stories how I, Rush Limbaugh, was destroying the respect for the office of the presidency that the American people had.
A disastrous Bush presidency has come and gone, but some things haven’t changed a bit.
Please TP Let’s not spew this vile trash.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:04 amThe local newspaper’s letters to the editor this morning included a couple of dittoheads whining about how Obama snookered the electorate. Limbaugh and his sheep would much prefer the nation to sink into economic chaos and Depression than to concede that liberal policies can work. There is simply no way to reach them.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:10 amAnd continues today with the swearing in of OUR 44th president, Barack Hussein Obama!
Today, I will only entertain one negative thought, as even the likes of OxyContin breath will not distract me from today’s event.
So, here goes.
Dear Rush (and I mean this most sincerely):
As a true American that believes in unity, I suggest you pretend I’m a young Dominican boy, and SUCK IT!
There. That’s done. Hope everyone enjoys today. I know I will!
You know what I hope???

January 20th, 2009 at 10:11 amThe Coleman campaign provided just 20 precincts with anomalous voting errors, as listed in Exhibit C, but based upon my work there appears to be 351 precincts which meet the Coleman campaign’s classification, and likely the correct interpretation of double counted votes. I’ve compiled a comprehensive list of Minnesota’s 4130 precincts and the ad-hoc absentee ballot precinct into a series of tables, detailing these voting anomalies.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:14 amOf course he thinks this! It’s Rush Limbaugh, and the 3 million ppl that listen to his garbage on a daily basis. Liberalism is not the problem. Clear Channel should be boycotted, and any other station that carries his program. He is paid ungodly amounts of money to spew his vile comments. He’s a fat runaway train. Anyone who listens to him has some serious character flaws!
January 20th, 2009 at 10:16 amLimbaugh sits in his castle with his cat, with all of the money in the world, unable to make any of his marriages work, (how about those family values)and lives with the shame of becoming a drug addict that took away his hearing.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:19 amOf course Limbaugh hopes Obama fails, it’s the only, only way that the republicans could conceivably get any power back; to pray that Obama’s performance is as sucky as bush’s.
It’s the republican/corporate way of ‘competition:’ You don’t provide a superior product, you hamstring, discredit or wish ill upon the opposition’s superior product.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:20 amHe’s doing no more than articulating the strategic vision of the Con/Pukes.
If they want ever again to exert the kinds of influence they have for the past 8–and arguably the past 25–years, then the people HAVE to be worse off in 4 years than they are today (hard as that is to imagine, it is not only possible by likely, given the conditions–economic, international, global– prevalent at this time.
If the Pukes are to make a comeback–and they threw the election to ensure that they could–then the USofA has to fail. The Pukes are quite content that that should happen…they’ll pick up the wreckage of Obama/Dim efforts to repair the Bushit catastrophes…
It ain’t gonna be pretty, but I fear it’s damn near inevitable…

Today should be a celebration, not a day focused on the marginalized minority of people (and I use that term loosely) who will never be happy, and prefer that no one else is either.
Congratulations fellow liberals! America will remain a Democracy after all thanks to all of our hard work and refusal to cave into the insults, and threats.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:31 amI do think this is worth reporting on because too many MSM goofballs give Limbaugh a pass because of his influence, money and fame.
Showing the hypocracy of his supposed “patriotic” stance to support the president is on full display now as he wishes only REPUBLICAN conservative presidents well and all others to fail. No matter what that may mean to the United States.
January 20th, 2009 at 10:32 amWhy is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it?
First, I understand my fellow TP regulars who would rather not have today marred by the likes of this fat, pedophilic Republican water carrier, but he is the most-listened to Hate Radio Jock in the country, and to help our fellow citizens understand the errors in their thinking, it helps to know what they’re listening to. Remember, “Radical Right-Wing Agenda” is one of the things that TP is fighting against, so they have to cover it. And I, for one, am glad they did.
Limbaugh is trying to make his woefully ill-informed listeners believe that we are in the midst of: two wars being fought at great expense, and with little overall purpose or strategy; unemployment at the highest it’s been in most of our lifetimes, where even our major auto manufacturers are about to shut down; major financial institutions about to collapse owing mostly to lack of regulation on the part of the government; and somehow this is all because of Liberalism? We are at this precipice because of anti-Liberalism policies. We need to help people understand that.
January 20th, 2009 at 10:33 amEven on this day, we must not forget that these despicable people have not gone away. Almost one quarter of the public still supports George W. Bush. They are not blind. They understand the devastation Bush and his cabal have wrought upon our country, but they do not care. They care only for the power of their political party. These people are Republicans first, and Americans only in the sense that their Republican Party is located within the physical boundaries of the United States. As we move forward in this new era, we must not forget that the people who caused our current problems will continue to fight all progress. The struggle to save our country has only begun. It will be long and arduous, but we must prevail.

You know, even though many of us predicted that W would be a disastrous president, I don’t remember hearing anyone saying “I hope he fails.” I’m pretty sure that all of us really hoped to be proven wrong in our trepidation about an inarticulate, spoiled, already-proven-to-be-a-failure faux cowboy occupying the White House.

January 20th, 2009 at 10:42 am“Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here.”
What in the hell? LIBERALISM is to blame for our problems? Give me a fracking break.
Was it liberals who ignored the PDB entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the United States”?
Was is liberals who ignored the evidence about WMDs in Iraq, kicked out the inspectors before they were done working so that the attack could begin, and overthrow a government that posed no significant threat to the United States?
Was it liberals who have failed to capture Osama bin Laden after declaring that he’s wanted dead or alive?
Was it liberals who so deregulated the financial industry and other key sectors of the economy that a collapse was inevitable?
I could go on and on and on. If Limbaugh thinks that liberalism is to blame, then he needs to come up with some real examples. Try again, dittohead!!
January 20th, 2009 at 10:45 amThere is only one way back into power for the Pukes.
January 20th, 2009 at 10:46 amThat is if Obama and the Dims fail to get a handle on the clusterphucks that are the legacy of Bushism.
Power is the only thing that matters.
It is naive to think otherwise.
If “America” has to fail so that the Puke/Con axis can return to power, they will work to see to it the Obama/Dims fail.

Optimism isn’t naivete. No matter how you feel about the person taking office today – and I’ve been critical of him many times during this transition period – you have to at least be proud of the historical significance of this day.
On this day, for the 43rd time in our country’s 220+ year history, power will be transferred from one leader to the next – without a coup, without a shot fired, without a monarchic succession. That’s something to be proud of.
The fact that 80% of the population is optimistic about this transition of power – that’s something to be proud of. The fact that Americans are starting to feel good about our democracy again – that’s something to be proud of, and something the world needs to see.

_____________
And where did UBS and the other corporate interests get that money?
From us. The people. The consumers of this country and the rest of the world.
I fully agree with you that our current two-party system just enforces the status quo of the corporatocracy. But it’s ludicrous to expect the government to change that system, no matter who is in power.
If we don’t like what the government is doing at the behest of corporations, and if we don’t like what our corporations are doing with the permission of our government, then it is up to we – the people and the consumers – to petition, to peaceably assemble, to boycott, to lobby our government and our corporations to behave better.
January 20th, 2009 at 11:10 amDr.Matt, since you are the resident stats guy, isn’t it true that the majority of non-individual contributions to Obama came after he became the front runner? Corporations are certainly very involved in giving to campaigns and, thereby, attempting to gain influence. However, it would not surprise me that most of their contributions came late in the game to get into the game, as opposed to early as a means of controlling the outcome.

Optimism is the secular equivalent of religious faith: the anticipation of a promised but unlikely–even an impossible–end if only one thinks positively enough (prays).
I don’t do “faith” either…
January 20th, 2009 at 11:20 am
__________
No, it’s not. Optimism and faith are quite different.
Optimism is the recognition of a possibility of positive outcome, and at any given moment there is always a possibility of positive outcome, provable by the positive resolution of a collapsing singularity of possibility. Faith is by definition an ineffable belief in the unprovable.
The difference is that, with optimism, we can do something to tip the odds. Faith, by definition, is out of our hands.

January 20th, 2009 at 11:39 amFor about 15 minutes President Botch has a new VP named Joe Biden. Why can’t Joe after saying “I do,” just confess the crimes of the Botch admin which he is temporarily a member of until Obama is sworn in. That would be nice.
January 20th, 2009 at 11:44 amThe Oxymoron is a disgusting piece of filth. Spewing hatred and bile like a marginally bright jr High bully is the only thing he has ever been capable of. It would be silly to expect any decency from the man. He doesnt have any

Honestly, I think we need to remember the face of hate as we welcome the face of hope…
January 20th, 2009 at 12:26 pmNow, to those of you, wherever you are, that think someone is setting off fireworks in celebration, that’s actually the sound of pointy little heads ’sploding all over the country.
I know, sounds like hail on a tin roof, or actual gunfire… but no… it’s just the sound of wingnut pinheads going off, left and right.
Kinda like music, innit?
Woo woo woo… listen to the music…
Woo woo woo… listen to the music…
January 20th, 2009 at 12:26 pmIT’S OVER! The obscene reign of terror by the Bushies is now officially DONE.

January 20th, 2009 at 12:45 pmRepublican hate democracy and want America to fail. This is news? Every Republican administration tries to destroy our greatness.
January 20th, 2009 at 12:48 pmLimpdick should get a visit from the Secret Service and be arrested for treason. This is my prayer.
If Limbaugh hopes that Obama fails, that means he hopes the country fails, because if Obama fails so will this country. I believe that makes Limbaugh a TRAITOR.
January 20th, 2009 at 12:49 pmMay George W Bush get the justice that he so richly deserves. Nothing more, nothing less.

January 20th, 2009 at 1:37 pmThis is Rush’s preemptive strike to gain listeners as February sweeps gets close.
Sure, he does believe the absolute crap he spills. But he doesn’t get paid millions of dollars to not stir the GOP stew, rat feces, carcasses and all.
Then again, he wants Democrats to fail just as much as he likes those investors tours through third world sweatshops in Miami and New York City.
January 20th, 2009 at 1:38 pmI hope Rush loses all his money and ends his sad life as a Wal-Mart greeter just to eat. THAT would be justice.

January 20th, 2009 at 1:48 pmI think it is time for TP and all progressives to put Limbaugh and all the trash that comes out of his filthy head in the loser/flake cabinet. Let’s move ahead and ignore this worm. His goal is to antagonize to people’s attention. Whatever comes out of his mouth will be irrelevant from now on.
January 20th, 2009 at 1:50 pmBooosh didn’t pardon any of his intimates because that would have negated their capacity to decline to testify on 5th Amendment grounds. Pardoned, they couldn’t decline to testify, should the ever be invited to do so–a likelihood to me of about .05%, in any event; better safe than testifying, though……
January 20th, 2009 at 2:00 pmWhy would you want your Country to fail?????? He needs to move away from America…..we don’t want Rush here! Go Away you fool!

Irrelevant
January 20th, 2009 at 2:12 pmMaybe someone at TP can explain why Rush Limbaugh’s talking points deserve a place on this site on this historic occasion.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:20 pmRush Limbaugh makes my stomach roll. What a truly unpatriotic thing to say. Our country needs to unite now, and comments like his are fodder for those who yearn to take us down.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:22 pmLimpballs can bite the big one.

Poor Rush he’s probably seeing his audience shrinking and therefore his revenues….
YAY!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:25 pmWell, well. Good to see the liberal socialist havent changed tactics since the election. I am not by any means a fan of limbaugh but, as usual the extreme liberal press twist the truth to make it work. I just reveiwed what he said and had co-workers listen as well. What he said was that he hopes president obama fails at getting the tax increases, closing the base in cuba, and generally not succeeding at certain policies. This irresponsible reporting, not telling the whole truth, is what is so disgraceful. While I am in agreement with the new president on many things, I also disagree with some.Does that mean that I hope he fails? Be responsible people. This is a very dangerous game your playing with the truth…
January 20th, 2009 at 2:27 pmUmm, folks,
I think its time to send former President George Bush along with his supporters and corporate lobbyists to the insane hospital for treatment. Limbaugh the Bushite needs to have his mind checked for he is looney. He has serious problems in his mindset. Besides, I am an multi racial. Limbaugh is a disgrace to the american people. I am so happy we finally waited to get George bush out of office. I am poor like everyone else trying to make ends meet. Please Rush Limbaugh, take your assets and dissolve them and return to the American people. To the companies, Come back to USA and help the american people to get this country back in shape. to the Feds, dissolved and let USA government print the money and come down as a citizen, name brand companies who born in usa, Please bring our good paying jobs back home. lets all nationalize the USA. This will bring a turnaround for the America. God bless America. Amen
January 20th, 2009 at 2:31 pmIM with you Rush I hope he fails too. I would rather have 12 years of Bush then 4 years of (obama) bin laden or what ever his name is. Yes 4 years, because thats all he’ll get. After impeachment
January 20th, 2009 at 2:33 pmWe shouldn’t WANT any President to fail! It’s sad that we have a media that is so one sided (each side!) that they want the other to fail so they can look better…..and gain more power. And who suffers…..AMERICANS!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:33 pmYou ignorant Obama worshippers, I’m so sick of you. Limbaugh has every right as an American citizen to state how he feels if you don’t like it too bad! Why do you worship Obama? He has no political track record, he’s used crack, he smokes..Why?? Because he’s black and you feel guilty? You’re pathetic if you people insist on worshipping Obama that’s your right but don’t put people down for NOT feeling the same way. You’re like hypocritical christians “We love you only if you believe in the same God we believe in” Put a sock in it you damn liberal whiners! For the first time in my life I’m ashamed of America. Obama is just another BUM looking for change!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:34 pmYou stare into the abyss long enough, Rush Limbaugh stares back.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:34 pmPersonally, I hate liberal democrats…
Especially the way liberal democrats can dish it out, but can’t take it.
Facts are:
1. The government cannot rescue the economy.
2. The government and the liberal democrats and AFL CIO and UAW destroyed this nation.
3. Democrats who passed the laws regulating the lending institutions to give out loans to people without real jobs destroyed thsi nation.
4. Democrats who forced the passage of hundreds of laws regulating USA mfg and saving snails in the desert have destroyed this nation.
Okay.. enough of that…
Mealer Companies is the way to get to where we are going.
I have the economic plan which was refused by McCain’s campaign team because i called him progressive as in teddy Rooslevelt progressive…
It’s all about jobs.
Saving the US economy will COME ONLY FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
Mealer American Motors Corp., Mealer Companies LLC, Mealer Electronics.. these are the neginning of the healing and we need much more USA mfg to cure the problem.
We do want to have and to work at good jobs, don’t we?
January 20th, 2009 at 2:36 pmEnjoy your new Amerika Comrades!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:37 pmshawnb sounds as if he has a double lip lock on the lard assed, drug addled, gas bag. He even speaks in all caps…a dead give away for reichwingnuts.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:37 pmSo much for the respect of the office that rethugs used to trumpet. Pig, I hope you clutch your fat chest, feel your bladder let go, fall on your ugly face and leave the world a better place.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:38 pmWhat a tool. Rush, that evil ho Ann Coulter, and that other evil snatch Michelle Malkin should all be put in a cage with rabid, hungry wolves..although Coulter is so anorexic they’d only have bones to gnaw..and they’d get a contact buzz from Rush’s pills..and burn their lips on Malkin’s acid filled body..ugh
January 20th, 2009 at 2:38 pmIN THE WORDS OF THE GOOD LORD…ONLY A FOOL SPEAKS HIS MIND!!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:39 pmThis entire thread is just dripping with hypocrisy.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:39 pmWelcome to your
January 20th, 2009 at 2:41 pmnew Amerika Comrades!
What a friggin idiot. I hope you fail…oh wait, you already have you effin loser
January 20th, 2009 at 2:45 pmSo…? What else did we expect from that very small man but ugliness and hatred?
January 20th, 2009 at 2:45 pmHow soon till Amerika comrades gets said again?
January 20th, 2009 at 2:45 pmComing back from my gym this morning, I ’scanned’ the AM band here looking for NPR and landed (LAST TIME) on a live R. Limberger analysis of the last few hours…. I have never heard such hate being beamed out over the AM radio airwaves – ever.
It’s clearly a time when Limberger feels the most vulnerable but this seemed a little over the edge.
I’m sure that his garbage will last for a while but there has GOT to be a way that we can rid ourselves of this kind of vile for good..This guy is out of control.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:48 pmCome on, folks. What can you expect from a person who harvests dog turds from his laws and puts them in his mouth?
January 20th, 2009 at 2:48 pmAMEN RUSH, AMEN!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:48 pmFor a bunch of “tolerant” liberals I see nothing but a bunch of intolerant hateful comments
January 20th, 2009 at 2:49 pmYou can open your eyes now, bush is gone.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:50 pmwonders if pv361 read the start of this thread?
January 20th, 2009 at 2:51 pmwhatever…
January 20th, 2009 at 2:51 pmDisqualified from rational discussions because you are an idiot.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:52 pmYou liberals are idiots!!!!
How many of you liberals could use about $500 dollars in your pockets right now, hmmmm? Well, why don’t you ask your new president why he is spending millions of dollars to “party”
while us commonfolk are stressing out in this horrible economy
(says your new wonderful president) trying to make ends meet!!
Wake up, how is he going to help you make ends meet!!
January 20th, 2009 at 2:53 pmSeems like the Liberals are already feeling the heat. A new but inexperienced leader has spoken to his supports and told them he is doing it his way and on his schedule. Maybe the Big Money poured into his campaign by the bankers who are using our TARP funds to support the Democrats, is now starting to float the Dems Boat and the leaks will eventually scuttle this Ship of State. So my vote goes to those in the House and Senate who have enough strength to do the “right” thing and block all the new Governmant welfare programs and get every one back to the real jobs that are begging to be filled. Miners, Truck drivers, Railroad equipment workers and train engineers just to name a few.
May God Bless our Republic….
January 20th, 2009 at 2:54 pmRush is back on pills. He needs to go to one of those Liberal drug rehab centers.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:56 pmpv361 Says:
For a bunch of “tolerant” liberals I see nothing but a bunch of intolerant hateful comments
I believe it was Bill Maher who recently observed, something to the effect of, being tolerant does not mean you have to tolerate intolerance. Rush Limbaugh, the King of Hate Radio, is the embodiment of intolerance. He and his ilk should be denounced at every turn, because they have nothing constructive to say about anything. They only know how to destroy.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:56 pmmy ends meet. The key is just to live a simple life
January 20th, 2009 at 2:56 pmObamasucks . .
ROFLMAO, President Obama smokes and that makes him unfit to be POTUS [you know, YOU'RE why some people should just go to the movies on election day]
Here SUCK on this Bubble ‘ARROGANCE’:
Bush’s final assessment: 34 percent approval
Gallup released its last poll on President George W. Bush’s approval rating today and the results, if you’re the president, aren’t pretty. Bush leaves office with just 34 percent of Americans approving of the job he’s done as president. 61 percent disapprove.
Bush doesn’t seem fazed by such math. In an interview that aired last night on CNN, he was asked by Larry King how he feels about his low numbers.
“I don’t give a darn,” Bush responded.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:58 pmI’m sure my right-wing buddy who listens faithfully to Limbaugh will be able to explain to me how Rush was quoted out of context and what he really meant.
January 20th, 2009 at 2:59 pmThe repub shills are in dire need of some rhetorical Viagra. Rusty the Steatopygic Junkie has become the proverbial butter knife brought to the gunfight. Adipose impotence embodied.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:00 pmQuit hate’n on a “Brother” You should hang out with Bush he’s the failure!!!!!!!! You look fat and tired with that cigar sticking out like that or is that Bush’s ***k your sucking…. Today is the day of CHANGE and a CHANGE has COME God Bless the OBAMA’S!!!!! Go ahead OBAMA do your thang… Show them how we get down…… My family is on your side…
ME
January 20th, 2009 at 3:04 pm~snicker~Even now! Even now that you’ve got the mulatto savior sworn in, you can’t stop hating anyone who holds a different thought than you do. Are you kidding me?! You’re worried what Rush said about NObama’s presidency?! For eight LONG years libs and the press demonized Bush and made sure that no one would ever see him in a positive light. The left has held open warfare on the right, on Bush, on America, on all things conservative, and refused to admit that hate is what drove your ideology. When an entertainer on the right openly suggests that he isn’t going to cave to the left’s demand that NObama be given some measure of support for his success, you squeal like the pigs you are. You won’t let yourselves enjoy your victory. It’s not in your nature to be happy. Fcuk NObama, fcuk you leftist idiots, and fcuk anyone on the right who wants to “just get along.”
January 20th, 2009 at 3:05 pmYou prople are stupid !!!!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:05 pmYour jerk or sorry Mr Hussein AKA president Of The U.S. could not even recite the oath of office. That shows that his heart is not with the american people. I hope you all know how to speak Chinse, or russian.
I didn’t vote for Obama, but doesn’t mean that I won’t suppose our new president. Like he said, there is hope for this country and we need to pick ourself up. Limbaugh, let hope your career will fail this year. Better yet, should be ended soon. You should be out of this country.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:06 pmaww, he’s suddenly concerned about out of control spending……too late loser.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:06 pmWell, because saying the most OUTRAGEOUS, INSULTING, thing gets a lot of publicity and attention. And he needs ratings and OxyContin. Was he high when he responded with this trash? If President Obama fails, we all fail. Stupid.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:08 pmI see they’re sending out the really classy trolls today.
You do your side proud, mrsnead.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:09 pmSeems to me, that for the last 8 years there has not a kind word been spoken of the Bush and republican administration, now you want everyone to be TOLERANT. Double standards as usual. You can dish it out but you can’t take it.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:09 pmOBAMA understands the world He’ll do good after the HOTT MESSES BUSH made everything will still be fine OBAMA has it… “we’re good at what we do” we never let you see us sweat… We’re strong people and we know how to handle business….

January 20th, 2009 at 3:10 pmWow, just Wow, the right wing nuts are out and the sour grapes are rotting…..
Yay OBAMA.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:10 pmWOW, LIBERALS ARE NASTY HORRIBLE PEOPLE. CHANGE IS WHAT WE NEED ALRIGHT BUT NOT IN THE DIRECTION OF THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE. I HOPE YOUR NEW PRESIDENT DOES NOT HAVE THE MINDSET THAT ALL OF THESE LIBERALS HAVE IN THESE COMMENTS.
I KNOW YOU ALL HAVE HEARTS USE THEM!!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:10 pmRush is going down….just tuned into a conservative radio station and found that Rush has been replaced. He can now only be found on one of the 4 stations in my area.
You do not have to listen to him too long to figure out he is back on the drugs… a problem which will escalate with every failure and station pull out.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:11 pmHey Limbaugh why you sit back with another big ol bottle of vicoden and relax cause that’s what George Bush and the republican party’s been doin for the last 8 years you fat ass moron

Did you say that about Bush in 2004? Of course not…IOKIYAR…
January 20th, 2009 at 3:12 pmThat’s kind of funny that a poster who refers to the duly-elected and overwhelmingly popular President of the United States as “the mulatto savior” accuses others of “hating anyone who holds a different thought than you”.
Of course, since NOBAMA SUPPORTER doesn’t hold a thought in his head, he doesn’t qualify as one of those who is hated.

I don’t know which inauguration you watched. The one I watched had the Republican Chief Justice of the United States screwing up, and the calm, patient Democratic President-Elect allowing him the chance to correct himself. I hope you learn how to speak English.

Even though I think Rush can be harsh at times, I am glad there is still a voice of reason in America. The libs may have won the election, but more people listen to rush than ANY other radio station.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
The left would rather dismiss you as a troll, then debate. A sure sign the leftists are losers and wrong.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:12 pm
Okay, LTdan. Let’s discuss your previous statement. You believe that Rush Limbaugh is a “voice of reason”? In what way is it reasonable to wish the incoming president failure? Please explain. Thank you.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:15 pmWhen you offer a reasonable thought as a topic for serious debate, and can conduct yourself with some dignity and respect, maybe you won’t get dismissed as a troll so quickly.
…and touting Rush Limbaugh as a “voice of reason” doesn’t really qualify as such a topic.
Nor does blaming our new president for a mistake by the Chief Justice.
Also calling our new president “scumbag” will get you branded as a troll quicker than almost anything.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:15 pmI don’t know which inauguration you watched. The one I watched had the Republican Chief Justice of the United States screwing up, and the calm, patient Democratic President-Elect allowing him the chance to correct himself. I hope you learn how to speak English.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:18 pmYa gots to love these folks defending America. The mightiest, strongest nation to ever exist on the planet has managed to keep these terrorists at bay. A country with a population of 250+ billion, one that used to have the strongest economy and military can contain a couple thousand third world folk.
Seven years of heightened concern and awareness. Billions spent, millions killed and the US has not experienced a 2nd terrorist attack. Ignoring the fact that the 1st happened on the last President’s watch.
Be very afraid, America. The camel may replace the chicken in every stewpot. And someday, the (used to be) richest nation on earth might actually give a rat’s derriere about how it treats its own citizens.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:24 pmSo he wants Obama to fail. Perhaps it is because he knows Obama has a chance to succeed. He hopes Obama fails, because his own party failed America. Typical for someone to spew negativity on a person who has a chance to bring on change for the good. Someone needs to super glue his mouth shut :-D This comment has nothing to do with this story but,his picture is just as annoying as his radio voice…AAaack!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:24 pmWow, look at all of the insightful, well-thought-out arguments these new visitors here are giving in defense of Saint Rush. They’re way too intelligent and eloquent for anyone to debate. /sarcasm off
January 20th, 2009 at 3:25 pmI would like to see someone hold rush saggyball’s feet to the fire. ask him point blank, “what ever happen to country first”?
January 20th, 2009 at 3:26 pmWhile I may not hope Obama fails, there does seem to be a double standard among the left. They seemed to have nothing but ill wishes for the Bush Administation from the start. They prayed for our failure in Iraq and Afghanistan simply because they did not want Bush to succeed. They criticized his every move during 911 and Katrina. The slanted media never missed an opportunity to report nothing but negative about Bush, while any positive accomplishments were either omitted or buried in other news with minimum coverage. I do hope Obama can succeed for all our sakes. I refuse to treat him as the Dems treated Bush for the past 8 years. Even if I did not like the man, I do have respect for the office he holds! I wish him well. As for Rush, he’s only after the ratings. Why do people fear him so much??
January 20th, 2009 at 3:27 pmFor ANYONE who wishes the a new President to fail, especially before taking office, is a complete and utter MORON; that, or makes money from the last president’s actions.
I, personally, don’t care what color, religon, sex, or mental capability the new Preisdent is/has, as long as he can correct the 8 years of HELL Bush put us through. If he can pull us out like Rosevelt did after Hoover ran, then all the more power to him.
I disagree with the Bush Presidential Rating given to him last week. It was a rating of 22%. I, personally, would now give him a 100%!!! I APPROVE THAT HE IS GONE!!!!

Well last I heard in our REPUBLIC anyone was allowed to say almost anything they wished to.
While I do hope that obamas politics fail I hope the MAN suceeds in his life.
And anyway the Rep party has HISTORY behind them to say that obama will be a 1 term president. And in 4 yrs obama will most likely loose any reelection bid he may have.
Google it if you dont believe me. To date there has been 19 Rep presidents and 16 Dem presidents. This is not countig the Whig, Federalists, and the Dem-Rep parties. the pattrent shows that for every 1 terms of a Dem tere is at least 2 Rep terms. with a few exceptions of course such as FDR, Clinton, Bush1, and those who took office after a death of the sitting president.
Would sure be nice IF liberals would state FACT instead of histeronics…

January 20th, 2009 at 3:29 pmFirst of all this is my first time at this site. I am a moderate (really what is that?) with mild right leanings. I am a mom of three but I never vote party line…any party line. I vote for the man or woman I feel is the best for the job. I am ready for the end of the Bush dynasty I think he made a mess of things especially these last 4 years. I voted for him, but if there had been a better democrat last time I don’t know if I would of. Kerry seemed like such a pompous something or other. Obama I like, I think he’s more likely to understand what it’s like to struggle with silly everyday things like the rest of us. He came from humble roots and I like that part. I am not with Rush (who is a hypocritical fool). I WANT Obama to succeed because I give a crap about my country. If Obama succeeds WE succeed. If he fails we feel the pain (last four years). I think Rush hits a cord with a small minority of right wingers anymore. Most of the rest of us who thought he was interesting a billion years ago find him annoying and idiotic now. Congratulations to Obama I wish him the best. My biggest hope is that he listens to all sides when making decisions, which he says he will do.

Do you hate the name “Hussein” only because of Saddam Hussein? Did you know that King Hussein of Jordan was a staunch friend of the United States? So much so he married one of our citizens. Is your knowledge of world history limited to the last eight years?

January 20th, 2009 at 3:31 pmWTF? As I recall it was the LIBERALS that were making all the hate talk the past 8 years…
By the way the conservatives don’t hate America…it’s the liberals that seem to have a problem with the founding principles and want to “change” everything.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:32 pmI hope Obama fails too. I hope that God Almighty keeps his promise and shows this country what its going to take to take back this country from the destroyers ( Satan and all of his politicians, usurpers and corrupt souls….yes you Rush) and morally bankrupt leaders. This society is a cancer that needs to be destroyed before things can get better. At the very least I’d like to meet up with these individuals one on one when the lights go out. Hope to see you soon a!#holes.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:33 pmname a single public voice from the left who called for Bush to fail.
Most lefties that I know were bitter about the selection of Bush in 2000, but supported him as he took the oath of office. And after 9/11, virtually every one in the nation supported him, Left and Right.
It was his performance in office — pushing for an unjustified invasion, squandering our surplus, outing CIA officers as political retaliation, playing air guitar while New Orleans drowned, politicizing the Justice Department and approving of torture, but especially, calling “unpatriotic” anyone who didn’t agree with his policies — that generated the ill will that follows him out of office as he leaves in disgrace.

EVERYBODY seems to for get that it was the liberal democratic congress that VOTED ALL THE legislation in that damaged the economy ….. SOOOOOO lets hope that President Obama can reign them in until we get smart enough collectively to put term limits on the senate and the congress ….. My respect and Best wishes Mr. President … just don’t pull any of that leftist commie crap and guide and inspire this nation as well as you ran your campaign.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:35 pmOne might think that a poster, when insulting an entire political ethos, could make one’s case more forcefully if, when calling others “fools” he proof-read his post before clicking “Submit”.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:36 pmI say he is a very courageous man! And I am glad that despite all the hoopla, that we keep eye on the issue. Yes, we should not embrace outlandish liberalism which is dangerously becoming the norm. Of course Rush is referring to his disagreement with the policies and leanings of Obama and we as taxpayers and “real” workers should be wary of how money is being spent. Have you noticed how “urgency” is being used as an excuse of spending the money dubbed as “stimulus”. Of course once you flow the money, debates stop and accountabilities blur, thus corrpution and abuse gets unchecked. When Clinton promoted this kind of economy, he painted a false strenght of the economy becaus everyone seems to have strong purchasing power!…But not for long…taxpayers paid dearly to cover for bad debts that other people sustained thinking they have “money” forever from “credit cards”, line of credits, loans this and that. People getting stuff that they can’t afford. And now we are salvaging these spendthrifts with our own money and because that is not enough, we have to borrow because our government is printing money to bail them out so all our children and future generation can pay up for this massive spending. Now Obama is going to cradle the lazy, spendthrifts, lobbyists, unions and all who are responsible for the collapse of the economy just to secure more vote for the next election. That’s what ACCORN was about which he himself masterminded. People there have work but not real jobs. These are jobs to keep their hands outstretched to him all the time…because they don’t generate real revenue but keeps them in the payroll. That’s socialism which marks Obama’s economy. So thanks for the likes of Rush for getting it out there.

Wow, lots to discuss there. Let me start by asking you a hypothetical question. Suppose President Obama were to divert $700 million from the money Congress authorized for the war in Iraq to begin planning the invasion of Russia. Would that be legal?
January 20th, 2009 at 3:38 pmNot everyone is excited about the new president. In fact, according to the majority vote, I would say it is a split country. I don’t wish Obama any ill will or our country. But, I think you are ignorant to say that Bush is our worst President ever. The President does not have all the power. Study Government and you will understand that our Government has different bodies that all come together to govern. We had a Democratic Congress and when they became the majority the Democrats said they were going to make everything Great and they didn’t. They put down President Bush and his approval rating when the congress approval rating is the a lot worst then Bush’s and the economy started to collapse when they had the majority.
I also feel it is unnecessary to to use crewd language and say the nasty things you do. Instead of just going off about things with disgusting comments, you can make your feeling known in a better way.
I personally feel that Obama should not be our President, because per our “CONSTITUTION” you must be born in America to be President. He was not born here, it is a proven fact. Do you know, he cannot even pass Homeland Security because of his ties to terrorists? This is scary. I do not wish him ill will. I just hope he upholds the Constitution like he swore to today.
I think a lot of people commenting today, might want to look up NWO (New World Order). It is pretty scary. The NWO is getting stronger by the day and a lot of things are being put in place that we do not even know about. I feel Obama is a puppet and not experienced enough to get where he is on his own.
Well, enough said.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:38 pmHow dare any of you say Bush was the worst president ever, you’re noting but coolaid drinking idiots. First when Bush got in office he had to deal with a recession bone head clinton left and the current problem with our economy steming from Fanny & Freddy (thanks to clinton). Both Bush & MCcain raised red flags about Fanny & Freddy but Congress and the Dems blew them off, take a good guess why! plus it helped get their empty suit in office, they sure do care don’t they, fools! Speaking of the worst president ever its a close tie between Clinton and the peanut farmer, wake up people don’t believe everything the liberal media tells you its usually scued, DON’T BE PINHEADS! P.S. During Bush he not only kept all your sorry buts safe and foiled at least 35 other attacks in the works but had 32 wks of job growth and unemployment was down until the Dems allowed this mess to happen, don’t think so digin and find the true facts, put down the coolaid and do some thinking for your selfs and quit listening to lefts media. P.P.S. get ready to hand out some of your money to you know who SHARE THE WEALTH people, you know what I’m not working right now so I might as well do the same for awhile and take some of the wealth if you don’t mind WHERE’S MY TAX PAYERS CHEESE! lol.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:39 pmJust curious: did you say the same thing in 2004?
January 20th, 2009 at 3:40 pmThe most ironic thing on this whole post is the hatred in most of your responses. Limbaugh wants to see Obama fail just like most of you wanted to see Bush fail. What’s the difference?
For you to want Limbaugh to die and say some of the other things you people are saying…that just speaks more about your hatred than it does Limbaughs. I’d say from reading most of your comments which are filled with abusive language, wishes of death, and stupidity…our country isn’t going to change for the better if people like you live here.
Why don’t you come up with a good argument to why Obama is going to succeed? He needs all the help he can get. He’s already making excuses for why things aren’t going to work out like he promised you. They’re not going to be as easy as he originally made it sound. What’s the problem? Make big promises to get elected then start making excuses?
Don’t sound like change is comin’ to me. Sounds like more of the same…

January 20th, 2009 at 3:41 pmA few observations. First, John Roberts did make the mistake while reading the oath of office, NOT Obama.
Secondly, I must point out that Limbaugh was destined to go deaf. After all, human organs do atrophy and fail after a prolonged and deliberate lack of use. Heh…Heh…
Listen up, Limbaugh. The propaganda machine isn’t working anymore!

January 20th, 2009 at 3:43 pmIt is a sad day to see President Bush leave office. Rarely do you see a politician with backbone, moral character and love of God. President Bush will be remembered as the sole leader of the Free World who fought against Islamic terrorist. For the democrats who booed President Bush as he left office, congratulations on displaying your true colors. George Bush had to face the “radical left wing” for 8 straight years. I have yet to see or hear the “radical right wing”. I hope President Obama is treated with the dignity and he respect he currently deserves as the President of the United States.

First off, he wouldn’t let the Cheif justice finish before he told the country what his true belief is.
It is common for the person administering the oath to say “I, Barak Hussein Obama” and then wait for the official taking the oath to repeat before moving on. That’s what Obama appeared to be expecting. I doubt they practice this thing.
“His true belief”????

I personally feel that Obama should not be our President, because per our “CONSTITUTION” you must be born in America to be President. He was not born here, it is a proven fact. Do you know, he cannot even pass Homeland Security because of his ties to terrorists? This is scary. I do not wish him ill will. I just hope he upholds the Constitution like he swore to today.
WOW!! It took 265 posts for that crazy comment to come up! What took the trolls so long????
Please, mom2, when you make idiotic comments like these, you need to provide proof, OK?

Ever hear of Freedom of Speech? The left always tries to shout down or shut down what it does not agree with. Say what you want about President Bush. We were not attacked again after 9/11. The fact is the Clinton administration was the leading proponent of Regime change in Iraq. He just didn’t have the stones to do it. Rush has a right to his opinion just like everyone else. That’s what Freedom of speech is all about. Get a grip and get over it. I wish our new President success. It’s an American thing to do.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:47 pmhey, its called free speech. thats an american idea. and blindly following a political group doesnt make you patriotic. not in rush’s case, and not in obamas case. but rush has the right to state his opinion. thats the glory of this country.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:48 pmPosters, I am a multi racial human being who wants to express thanks for them who voted Obama , ( change ) versus McCain ( Bush crapola), America will succeed without Bush at last. Lets remove Rush Limbaugh off the air waves. This guy gives me a headache. His voice causes me to have nightmares. last time I went to bed, I was dreaming, I saw a face like limbaugh, I almost crapped on myself. he leaned over to the mirror, he had dog pipes in his mouth. breathing in and out the stinch of the republican defeat. I bet he goes to bed and has to take tons of sleep aids, I think he is feeling some better. Just to let all here know, Please don;t bash Obama, he hasn;t even started work yet. Do not judge the book by the cover, I believe we will see prices falling for affordability. America will see good times come soon. Just hang in there.

EGADS!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:48 pmI wholeheartedly approve of Rush’s no-bull sentiments. I have heard the media, my family, and even some so-called conservatives spouting the “give Obama a chance” and “you better hope Obama succeeds” mumbo-jumbo ad nauseum, as if some generic, candy-coated concept of “success” is the highest good for our country. If you mean by “success” the implementation of his policies, then why would I as a fiscal and social conservative welcome that? I voted against Obama and his policies (though he managed to avoid actually articulating most of them in front of a camera), and I still find many of them anti-growth, anti-moral, and destructive. So if he “succeeds” in doing the wrong thing, that is what is known to most logical minds as “failure”. If he succeeds in failure, he fails to really succeed. Are your little liberal brains smoking yet? If, for example, in spite of his pre-election rhetoric about “dialogue” and “lowering” the number of abortions, he “succeeds” in his stated goals at change.gov, such as removing all present restrictions on abortion and dramatically increasing abortion funding, then he will “fail” to protect innocent life. I know too many people of good will in churches, crisis pregnancy centers, and adoption agencies whose time and energy is poured into saving little ones and meeting the needs of mothers in crisis, whose efforts will be directly thwarted and trampled by his “success”. Sadly, it is nothing new. Bill Clinton could barely wait for his first day in office to reverse the previous administration’s pro-life policies wherever he could. Obama is beholden to the same bunch of pro-abortion groups, who will hold his feet to the fire if he doesn’t act as soon as he takes the oath. With our economy crippled, and government spending out of control, the most pressing issue will be as with most any other Democrat, that not enough babies are dying. Yeah, get right on that, Mr. Prez! If any elected official’s “vision” lacks a moral imperative to protect human life at all its stages, I hold out little hope that they have answers to any of our nation’s predicaments, regardless of how “pragmatic”, “inclusive”, and “broadminded” they claim to be. So if Mr. Obama insists on pursuing the path he has staked out, I pray for his failure.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmfurthermore the congress has been controlled by liberals for most of bushes presidency. bush didnt make laws, he could only veto and pass them. congress was responsible for making the laws, and they were horribly inefficient most of the time, in large part because the dems didnt want to agree with the republicans on anything, thusly causing a stalemate.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmYou know there are those out there that think Bush sent Katrina to New Orleans as a form of genocide. Does the left actually think he was that powerful?
For the record, anyone who said that is a stupid idiot. Care to point out which ones said it?
I have, however, heard of some right-wing religious nuts say something similar, but no one from the left that I know of.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmThe Hawk Says: “We were not attacked again after 9/11.”

January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmGod really has blessed America. We can say whatever we want because of free speech. May God bless each of you the way you have blessed everyone whose opinions differs from yours.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmLimbaugh voices an opinion. He doesn’t bomb US buildings or register voters illegally. He voices an opinion. This does not make him a traitor, it makes him an American with a right to speak his mind. Why is it liberals are only for free speech when they are in agreement with what is being said? Limbaugh disagrees with the ideals of liberals. What’s wrong with that? Is that different from Olberman wanting Bush brought up on war crimes? Two opinions from two broadcasters. They have the right to speak.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmTHAT’s your defense?
“He had help”?
Sheesh.
(By the way, no one on the Left really thinks that Bush sent Katrina to New Orleans. We just know he stood by with his thumb up his ass while people drowned in attics and clung to their rooftops. We’re part of the Reality-Based Community, after all.)

January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pmHey does that really mean I DON”T KNOW WHO MY DADDY IS !!!!
What bothers me is everyone singing YAY change YAY change. I am for a positive change but not for change for changes sake. Nazism was a “change”. I would love for our country to go in the right direction, but I don’t want change made blindly and hysterically without long hard thought going into the life long repercussions that may affect my children and their children. I am very worried about all the promises made in Obama’s speech if he does fulfill every promise, we will have a huge price tag for it. I do not want my kids picking up the tab for bailouts for CEO’s and their cronies. I sincerely hope Obama does things differently. I am here sitting back giving him time and hoping for good to come out of it. I do not think things like socialized medicine will help a flailing economy, the tax burden for that alone would cripple most of us out here who are already on the razors edge of survival. That’s just one concern. I honestly don’t trust any politician to do what is in the best interest of me and my children’s future, but I am hoping and with holding judgement for now :D
January 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pmWhat he should have said…”I hope Obama falls down the stairs and breaks his neck.”
If Obama succeeds with what he wants to do, America will fail.
- More abortions is the first thing he wants to accomplish.
- More gay sex and aids perliferation
- Weakened military by negotiating and compromising with terrorists.
- More taxes on rich which means less investment and less good jobs
- Global warming is a scam! His goal will be high gas prices so people stop driving cars and ride their bikes. Of course he and the media will blame it on big oil.
I HOPE HE FAILS TOO…. BUT I THINK AMERICA IS TOO STUPID TOO LET THAT HAPPEN.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:51 pmMr. Limbaugh, that you would make such tasteless, callous, and selfish remarks about Mr. Obama on this historic and joyful day only reminds anyone with half a brain that you are, in fact, what you rail endlessly against: an anti-American crackpot who will say anything for money, and whose shockingly hypocritical lack of patriotism makes any true American want to vomit. Here’s a little Inaugural Day wish for you: I truly hope that YOU fail in your (supposed) recovery from addiction to prescription painkillers and once and for all overdose your obnoxious, obese self into oblivion. (Based on your comments today, you’re apparently well on your way.)
January 20th, 2009 at 3:51 pmNo…like all you commie/socialist liberals that think “Free Speech” means having to muzzle anyone who disagrees with you…i.e. the current movement by liberals to make it mandatory for any right wing news/radio to HAVE to have some liberal there to give equal time to leftist viewpoints.
Suck it up Air America failed and for good reason…no substance…just anger and hate.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:51 pmCan anyone explain why, when wingnuts shout down the Left, it’s “freedom of speech” but when the Left objects to anything a right-wing talking head says, it “censorship”?
Seems like a double standard to me.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:52 pmas for Katrina…why doesn’t anyone hold responsible in any sort of small way the governor of the state? She refused to declare a state of emergency even when the white house was asking her to. They were trying to follow the chain of command but she thought she had it all under control. If my govenor did that I would want her blood! Just think there is enough blame for that freaking mess for everyone in power… mayor, govenor, and president.

January 20th, 2009 at 3:55 pmI don’t know where all of these trolls are getting the idea that ‘liberals wanted to see Bush fail.’ First of all, fail at what? He apparently succeeded in what apparently was his goals of making all of his rich friends richer, in gutting the Constitution, in politicizing the Justice Department, in indebting the U.S. to China to the tune of trillions, in lying America into an illegal war, etc. If you trolls mean ‘fail in Iraq’, I think that all of us would have been happy as pigs in shite if Bush had been successful in instilling a real and lasting democracy in Iraq with minimum bloodshed, REGARDLESS of how he got us in there. As we all know, he went about it not only illegally, but with no forethought or planning that was based in reality, nor with any accountability to WE taxpayers for the trillions spent.
No, we didn’t want to see Bush, and therefore America, fail, we were just stuck watching his failure in horror.

I don’t want to see it for the next four as well from the other side. Just sick to death of it. Even if you like Bush you have to say he was totally sleeping at the switch while our economy was tanking I am angry at him for being a little to late with a little too little.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:57 pmOh PULEEZE. He’s right, someone had to say it. “King” Hussein is not going to save this country. Grow up. He is not the Messaih. He’s just a man who was clever enough to get what he wanted. If we’re all supposed to be equal and race doesn’t matter then why, for the love of Pete, is this man being referred to as the “First Black President”, the “First African-American President”? Huh, got any answers to that one? He’s not both, he’s either American, or not, and it’s time he started claiming citizenship in the country he’s now going to rule. This country won’t be free until we have to stop pressing 1 to listen to English and as long as we have a “First (insert race) President in office that is never going to happen.
You all spout out about Limbaugh’s name calling and crap. Go back and read your own posts. A little of the pot calling the kettle black.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:57 pmRush meant he hopes Liberalism fails, if after all you might listen to the show he does explain what he means. And most of all he gets such a laugh out of getting a rise out of people. It’s actually funny. He’ll say something and then there will be a Liberal diatribe on how he needs to be muzzled. It’s hysterical. Libs can’t take their own dish, and that is just hysterical to watch you all have such hissy fits.
I think you all have been complaining about Bush for 8+ years, why is that not put under the same ‘Hate’ rhetoric that you are assigning to Rush?
And yes…there was a blunder in the oath, but it all got corrected, but why is it not Obama’s fault? If Bush had made the same error would it not have been his fault? I think you all need to stop being so one sided and start looking at things from both angles.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:57 pmwhat’s the matter hawk? gone all pissypants because i revealed you for the canary you truly are?
January 20th, 2009 at 3:59 pmThe thing that most disturbs me is that we insulted a true American hero who devoted most of his life to this Country and was by far the more qualified candidate, by electing a person only because he is black. Obama never even completed his first Senate term nor served in the military. He can never match McCain’s qualifications and experience. People in uniform today should pay careful attention to the message that we sent to McCain for his honorable service to the United States.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:59 pmRush actually said that he knows what Obama’s policies are and that he hopes that Obama fails as he doesn’t want the bad policies in place. I agree as I don’t want these liberal policies put in place. Government is already way to big and we need to a lot more conservative. Bush failed as he had to many liberal policies in place. Take all of these policies out of the government and get back to the government that our founding fathers put in place. I agree Rush and let’s just hope for our countries sake that Obama fails and that our country can withstand his bad policies.

Ralph, yes they did think this way, their actions proved it. As for the drowning people in N.O., they were told well in advance to get out! Their beloved, complacent Mayor of Chocolate City made no move to evacuate these less fortunate people. Hundreds of City buses and school buses were found parked in their respective yards under water after the storm. Yet, Bush gets the blame for all this misery. The Mississippi Gulf Coast was more devastated but better prepared due to local officials heeding the call to “leave”!
However, this is not a Katrina thread. N.O. was used as an example of how it was perceived from the local level, and how Bush received the blame. Did he make mistakes, yes. Is he perfect, no. Was the whole thinged mired in red tape, yes. All of us living along the coast were surprised by a storm of this magnitude. However, Bush was supposed to be flawless in his decisions. Love live Obama, and I do believe that history will eventually exonerate Bush.

I feel sorry for people who lost their homes, had food taken off the table so they cannot feed their kids, plus not to name repossessions of Automobiles. Right wingers Get a Grip on reality. We needed change for the fact that America had Enough. Change is on its way whether or not the conservatives or liberals like it. Poor people spoke out on election year of ‘08. Thank you Jesus for Bringing in change
January 20th, 2009 at 4:03 pm“I do not want my kids picking up the tab for bailouts for CEO’s and their cronies.”
Kats3sons, your kids have been picking up the tab for bailouts for CEO’s and their cronies ever since (and probably before) the Keating 5, of which John McCain (R-Arizona) was part. The failed Savings and Loans? Bush’s other criminal brother Neil? Remember? Do you remember Bush’s buddy Kenny Boy Lay and Enron, and all of the people who lost their jobs and savings and pensions? If you’ve only been paying attention for the last month or so, you’d better start studying a little more history. Informed discourse starts with the word “informed.”
January 20th, 2009 at 4:03 pmI reckon there’s a lot of people that don’t like Rush Limbaugh. I ain’t one of them. He’s one of the few with the balls to say what a lot of Americans are thinking but don’t have the airways or newspapers to say it. I for one think Obamy sucks and ain’t afraid to say it to whoever is around. I also hope Obamy fails as a president. The only reason most people voted for the ***hole in the first place is because he said vote for me and I’ll give you a stimulus check. In other words he bought your votes. I hope it doesn’t pass and then lets see where he stands with people.

So, you agree that what Bush did was illegal, but you think it’s justified because it was “with good cause”? I realize that this may take a while, but if I’m going to understand why you believe the things you believe, I have to know from where your views start.
What was the “good cause” that justified the president violating the law?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:13 pmBravo Pistolpete!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:13 pmNow it’s time for the whiney liberal Barack HUSSAIN Obama to take responsibility for his words and the actions of others.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:14 pmMay America never see another 9/11 or Katrina under his selection.
Is gitmo closed yet????? It’s been a few hours now.
How is Obama going to turn USA into a socialist state, geeze we are already socialist. Bush made it a socialist state when he was elected.
Eat some wheaties please. Quit acting like children everyone. Words to the wise, You cannot lead a Jackass to water to drink. Lets all get together in harmony.

….there they go again, trying to label Bush as a liberal, the ‘Stupid’ has hit boiling point today.
Wow look at who is calling somebody stupid. Read through a few of your posts here and you will read the definition of the word. Bush was one of the least conservative Republican presidents we have had in awhile. Look back to Reagon to see how things should be done. We need another candidate like Reagon to keep the liberals from spending money that they have no buisness spending. Let’s hope that 4 years from now we can get a truly conservative Republican in the office to clean up this whole mess.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:21 pmPay attention to what Rush L. is saying and quit calling someone who speaks the truth names. You people are like sheep if one goes off the cliff the rest will follow, you want liberalisim, bigger government taking more, telling you what to do, removing more of our liberty, more taxes eventurally one world government then keep closing your minds and keep talking stupid. Wakeup I say and truly listen and hear to what the left is trying to pull over our eyes.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:21 pmany one see this idiots quote, some one said if Obama supports socialism, he hopes for his failure too…. understandable if you dont like socialism
then buckey boy called him stupid for saying that…
January 20th, 2009 at 4:23 pmso we can only conclude that he supports socialism, unless he wants to defend himself……
It is now your turn liberals. You have the House, Senate, and Executive Branches of our goverment. You also have the media. I am hoping for great results, but not holding my breath.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:23 pmYes, yobama’s direction for America is straight down the toilet. Higher taxes, destroying riches, more welfare, forced volunteerism (slavery), less production, money going to other countries the list is going to be crazy.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:25 pmChange I don’t want.

January 20th, 2009 at 4:27 pmsomeone enlighten me as to who these
January 20th, 2009 at 4:28 pmtrolls are?
To allow the likes of Rush Limbaugh to incite the type of disdain that we are seeing in this thread is to allow Rush to have more power than our new President. President Obama’s message is to transcend the ways of ignorance and the only way we can do that is to respectfully call Rush’s message for what it is and then move on to start great, exciting new things for our country. I don’t rent space–in my mind and heart–to those who hurt me (or America). Not all Republicans are like Rush. And some of their challenges should be heard and critically examined. Gone are the days of demonizing any side. This is just a person without character’s way of making money… For the first time in a very long time I am PROUD TO BE AMERICAN and Rush cannot take that away!!!!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:28 pmYou know what, SM? Given the performance of you and your ideological brethren here today, you guys don’t get to complain about anyone else’s level of class, okay?
Act with some dignity and maybe you’ll have some credibility on which to draw. Right now, you have none.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:29 pmRush is on his pain killers again. He drugged out of his mind. Who in the world can take this a$$hole serious. He’s fat, ugly, bald, and stupid.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:29 pmIn my opinion he has already failed. With the economy in such bad shape here they are spending money like it was going out of style while the taxpayers are footing the bill. Too many people need help to keep their homes. That money could have been used to help a lot of them stay in their homes.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:29 pmSo much for the so called honest and caring politician
In the words of Red…..hey dumbass, where do you think we are right now and why do you think we are here?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:29 pmLet’s do a little analysis, Liberal Style:
Liberal version of Free Speech:
“I hope Rush dies”,
“Bush is an evil warmonger”,
Conservatives hate America”,
“Rush is fat and stupid”,
“Conservatives deserve to scream like stuck pigs”,
“Cons are a bunch of low-life trolls”,
“Cons are traitors”,
“Rush supporters are all druggies and drunks”,
“Rush should be taken off the air”
Liberal version of “horrible, anti-American, hate-speech”:
“I hope Obama fails”
Very odd to say the least.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:30 pmNo, Jane, it was not a racist comment. Those direct words came out of Mayor Ray Nagin’s own mouth. I actually thought you were embarking on an enjoyable, intelligent conversation until you injected racism. Enough of that already!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:31 pmAND WE HAVE A NEW RECORD!
It only took four and a half hours for someone to declare that Obama has “already failed”.
Damn, dude, you must have some steep expectations for your president.
How long did it take Bush before you declared his presidency a failure?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:32 pmGuess you’re gonna say bush didn’t deserve it right? I mean you’re comparing class acts, right?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:32 pmPlease fellow Americans don’t curse this man, have pity on his soul. If he had half the balls he pretends to have then why wouldn’t he do something to better the country which allows this free speech. In some countries, he would probably be hanged, tortured, imprisoned or all three. If we would all band together against the offenses of this person I’m sure his popularity would go away. He is a sell out, in that he says these things purely for the purpose of gaining some type of reaction which in turn garners him more money through more ratings. If you want to make him disappear…hit him where it hurts, his pockets. Look beyond him and look at the sources which pay him his nearly 38 million dollar a year salary. Hmmmm, Clear Channel and Premiere Radio. Check into who their sponsors are, dig deep then bury him. Time for us to think smart America!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:32 pmRush “Limberger” you are an complete idiot. You do realize that if the Obama Administration fails, the American people fail? You do know this right? You might not like “Liberalism” but even you can’t be that much of an idiot. What a freak show you are.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:33 pmHey, KRMS, I must have missed it when you cited a real liberal voice who truly espoused the notion that Bush sent Hurricane Katrina to New Orleans.
Can you point me to the comment where you left the link?
Just the time of the comment is good enough. The numbers sometimes switch around.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:33 pmliukas Says:

I wish Obama success. But the only way he will succeed is by throwing Liberalism overboard.Liberalism is the proble and all you that think otherwise are fools.
Really? So liberalism is the big bad scary word of the day. Let me help you out here bud, liberalism and progressive politics is what helped shape our country to what it became – and what it will continue to become as we all work together to perfect our union. Get out a dictionary, do a little research and try to stop reacting to the scary, scary words which you appear to not understand. Thank you.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:33 pmAs a conservative I hope Obama selectively fails. Limbaugh could have said that, but it wouldn’t catch the headlines he needs for his business. I think if you all look in the mirror you would agree that you don’t agree with 100% of what Obama says. The only person saying 100% of what I like is me. I am glad we are in a country where we are free to speak our views. The only surviving socialist countries out there don’t allow the freedom of speech. If we go that route, dissenting opinions will have to be choked off.
Frankly I’m surprised people get worked up about any comments from Limbaugh. He’s on one conservative station where no others seem to exist. You can’t censor him, but you can ignore him. I still have fresh batteries in my remote if you need to borrow them.
I’m glad some people pointed out the limited powers of the President and that the Dems were also busy writing laws and voting for laws over the past 8 years. Contrary to many of the opinions here, not all evil was born in the past 8 years. Many of the factors lead to the current situation existed during the Clinton administration. The housing bubble is one – politicians wanted everyone to have a house; 9/11 is another – hatred for the infidel predates Bush. There were many efforts made to reign in Fannie and Freddie that were blocked by the Democrats. That is an indisputable fact for those who want to do some research. I can write about it, but I know the first 3 words in my post will bias what you read. You’ll need to find it for yourself as I have.
We also do need to give Bush credit for having the spine to take the war to the terrorists rather than sit back and wait. Regardless of what you think of the man, he has protected us. If he attacked the Taliban before 9/11 people would scream. There are poeple out there sworn to destroy our way of life. They aren’t sworn to unconditional dialog or whatever Obama wants. I’m not sure how you negotiate down from total destruction and find a compromise that works. There’s ideology and there’s reality. I do hope Obama succeeds in blurring the line between the two and makes the world a bit more safe. I don’t mind if he fails in turning my health benefits into a DMV staffed program. Remember he can and will fail at some things – every President fails at something – and America can still be a better place. I’ll take the prosperity of Bush’s first 6 years however we got there.

Lowering the taxes for the rich was the one thing that he did get right and let’s hope that Obama wakes up and keeps them in place through his term. Brings in more revenue and creates jobs. Part of that plan was also to lower the taxes of lower class. Regulations such as the one that forced banks to offer home loans to people that couldn’t afford them were part of the liberal agenda. Look where that has taken us.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:38 pmSounds like a hit a miss for you big fella’. Conservativism works and had for many years after this country created the constitution. Then somebody got a hold of a peace pipe and decided that they wanted to change a few things. Such as giving the government control of our lives as apparently a lot of you don’t think you can make the right choices. Let the goverment control the borders and the police and move the rest to the private sector. It’s common sense but people like you have a little too thick of a head to get it.
FAIRNESS DOCTRINE =)
January 20th, 2009 at 4:38 pmI for one hope that the comedian’s ass cyst becomes terminal and he doesn’t have to watch the success of this President, or the comeback of the hardworking Americans that elected him.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:40 pmReally, trolls, what makes this a good day to be signed in? George Bush didn’t win a third term. Go play somewhere else. Ralph is signed in, you know.

January 20th, 2009 at 4:40 pmMy moniker is to mock these liberal folks who want to round up all us who don’t agree with them, take us off the airwaves and put us in “re-education” camps, I suppose – since according to them, we are all “idiots, traitors, a**holes, hateful” people.
Ahh censorship, the Liberal’s weapon of choice – it’s even “non-violent”!!!!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:40 pmHe’s in there so, I’ll give him as much a chance as the libs gave “W”.
Funny how he’s for change and immediately upon election lays down with the fleas the Clinton’s had in their bed. He talks of morals and ethics while already trying to cram an elitist Sec of Treasury down our throats. What’s worse is that we have a significant number of conservatives going along so they don’t get on the wrong side of the media. I guess we should expect that? No I know we should expect that.
If he’s worth his salt, I’ll ask him to earn my respect by pushing for the following;
*Term limits
*No raises for policians unless approved by the voting majority,
*flat tax, *
*line item veto
*no lifelong benefits to serve our country. It’s a job, not a free ride for the rest of your life.
In a time of economic crisis how many politicians get laid off?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:40 pmyobama’s speech sure did a lot for the stock market.

January 20th, 2009 at 4:42 pmLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think its great! Go Rush! I hope he fails too because he’s nothing more than a sham & a fake; full of empty promises that he’s already back tracking on.
And anther thing I want the media to start getting it right, HE’S NOT AMERICA’S FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT!!! He’s America’s first half black president! They need to get it right that he’s only half black; the white side should be counted too.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:43 pmSheeeeeeeeesh………where did all the idiots come from? And why are they so saturated with hatred and negativity? My message to the idiots (and you know who you are), relax, give our President some time to begin solving the problems Bu$hCo and his enablers (you?) created. Sit back, your lives will get better. Thank you.

You are right Wayne, in saying this will take much longer than we have to educate each other about our respective “opinions”. Bush could not have “illegally” diverted funds without approval. Apparently your source of news is slanted left, which just about covers all of them except Fox. Sadaam was clearly not our friend and was more than willing to assist our enemies whoever they were. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Surely you didn’t consider Sadaam to be our ally? As soon as he would have been able to obtain weaponry to accomplish it, he would have fired a missile into downtown Manhattan. He was too dangerous to be left out of the equation. So for now my friend, we will have to agree to disagree.

At a time like this, with all this new President has inherited, this man wants him to fail. In case you don’t catch it, he wants the country to go under. These people consider having a black, Harvard graduated professor worse then a country that has been devastated.
He loves the attention his BS gives him. I will love the day when these so called pundits lose their audience and no one even thinks to quote them. And why is it they are always so very physically unattractive?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:50 pmGo ahead and take my 401(k), it’s back to 1999 level. On that note, yobama’s gonna party like it’s 1999!!!!!!

You are right in that you are lost. You are lost in the fog with the rest of the liberals. Of course jobs are down right now as we are in the middle of a recession. Jobs were up before we entered the recession.A recession brought on by Bush not being conservative enough in spending money (which I will admit) and the Democrat ridden Senate spending their pork and earmarks. Obama and Biden were two of the worst rated Senators in that category. And now look as they spent over 100 million on an inauguration party in the middle of a recession. First day on the job and already showing their spending ways. Blame the regulations that the dem’s put on the banks that forced them to offer loans to people that couldn’t afford them.

I’m not as eager to abandon rational discourse as you. In the first place, Congress never authorized Bush to begin taking troops and equipment away from Afghanistan to begin fighting the war in Iraq. if you can prove they did, I would like to see the evidence.
Saddam had nothujing to do with 9/11. You do know that, don’t you? Congress authorized funds for the war to fight those who attacked us on 9/11. That did not include Iraq. Never did. So the diversion of the troops was illegal.
Second, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” is a dangerous and irresponsible basis for a foreign policy. What happens after your common enemy is defeated? Your new “friends” go back to being your enemy again. As to what Saddam might have done if he had the capability is irrelevant. He didn’t, and likely never would have.
So, I do not see any “good cause” for Bush to violate his oath of office, the law, and the Constitution.

I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants….
bwhahahahhahhahahhaaaa
Yo green,
You got it wrong again!!!! While the Federalists were busy growing the scope of the Federal Government, Jefferson, a Democrat-Republican, believed that the Government’s role should be small and limited. To infer that all change is liberal and that conservatives are opposed to all change is ridiculous and you know it.
Hitler brought about change in Germany in the 1930’s – so he was a liberal?
January 20th, 2009 at 4:56 pmJane, aren’t these trolls in good voice today?
Kind of a whiny, straight-men’s chorus, one that only knows one line of the song:
“WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
I’m enjoying the hell out of it.
Squeel, piggy! SQUEEEEEEEALLLLLL!
January 20th, 2009 at 4:57 pmrushisright Says:
Go ahead and take my 401(k), it’s back to 1999 level. On that note, yobama’s gonna party like it’s 1999!!!!!!
Troll: Mummy, they’re going to take my 401(k). Rush told me so!
Troll’s mom: Actually, child, the fat ass himself took your 401(k) and mailed it to an undisclosed overseas location.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:57 pmWell, I don’t hear conservatives saying things like:
“We can’t wait for Kennedy or Pelosi to die”
or
“Bill Clinton should be charged with War Crimes”
or
“All you Liberals are a bunch of idiots”
Do I need to cite more examples for you?
I will.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:58 pmWhich ReichWinger Site sent all you a$sholes here?
We sure are enjoying your total head explosions though, nice to see what you scum sucking, brownshirt, jack-boot, lemming, neanderturds are all about.
Makes us proud that we are not like you losers.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:00 pmNo matter how outrageously George W. Bush acted, I always hoped that he would be successful in making the world a better place. He, of course, failed miserably. Sometimes, events were outside of his control, but he, more often than not, acted and reacted in ways that simply made things worse. In many cases, his actions were immoral, unethical and unlawful. Still, I always hope that our president will successfully lead us to peace, prosperity, happiness and righteousness.
When Rush wishes for Obama to fail, he’s being unpatriotic and un-American.
Please, please please… Rush, if you want America to fail, please leave us. We don’t want you. We don’t need you. You are destructive. You are acting like an enemy of America. Disagreement and loyal opposition is one thing. Wishing failure on our president is simply unacceptable. If you are going to behave like one of our enemies, please leave and join our enemies.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:00 pmTappio, the “Democrat-ridden Senate” has been stopped in its tracks by a single Republican on many, many bills that they have tried to bring to the floor. Even after the 2006 mid-terms, they could get nothing passed without Republican cooperation. Not to mention that the trillion-dollar price tag for the “war” in Iraq has been kept out of the budget process by the Bush administration and the Republicans, not the Democrats. I blame the current Democrats for a lot, but not for the myriad earmarks that the Republicans fattened up on since 2000. Maybe some of them started out fiscally conservative, but greed got to them.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:01 pm- when I retire at 80 years old, that is.
Democrats aren’t for raising the retirement age on SS, Einstein. Your deposed nominee McCain proposed raising the retirement age, but what do you cons know about voting in your own interests? Dogfighting is on your mind when you vote.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:01 pmI haven’t heard one – not one – conservative say the following:
January 20th, 2009 at 5:01 pm“Obama is not MY President”
Now I remember the whiney liberals who are the worst losers in the history of the world saying that Bush wasn’t ‘their’ President.
Why the offsidedness?
Maybe because conservatives have values?

Yo – green,
In case you didn’t notice – the hatred is coming from the Liberal Trolls and directed at Bush, Cheney, Rush and Conservatives in general.
We are merely trying to set the record straight – and opposing the POLICIES that Obama wants to enact.
The name calling and hateful remarks are coming from your side, not ours
Hahaha…..pause, take a deep breath and look at the name you have yourself. Your attempts at projecting your violence and hatefulness on some ill-conceived “side” is telling. Just calm down – today we are all Americans. Now let’s all get busy and start working to heal our nation and start solving the problems we face. Thank you.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:02 pmI don’t see yobama being re-elected. He’s a one shot guy.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:02 pmTax the rich more? Is it fair to have less than 5% of the population pay half of the tax bill? The bottom 40% aren’t paying federal taxes. We need people to buy stuff to get the economy going. Pop quiz: Scenario 1) I make $12,500 a year or 2) I make $250,000 a year. In which scenario will I be able to earn more (taxed), spend more (taxed), invest more (taxed) and pass more on to my spawn (taxed). If you are pro taxes, you have to thank the wealthy for paying. If you have a job manufacturing, selling or servicing, you have to thank whoever benefits from your goods or services, not the president. As President I’d be happy to cut taxes for the lower & middle classes because it makes up such a small portion of the budget. If I put more money in the hands of the people that can afford to spend money, the economy picks up steam. Aside from the Madoff victims, which group needs to save less and can afford to spend more?
January 20th, 2009 at 5:03 pmThis has been fun but I’ve got to run.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:04 pmCarry on.
The tantrums being thrown by this handful of America-haters are giving me a good laugh on a good day.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:04 pmThanks Buckie Boy….
For showing the true “name-calling, hate speech” you liberals are capable of….
Wow, you left-wingers can’t handle any dissention, can you?
Get used to it – and get over yourselves!
January 20th, 2009 at 5:04 pmThe fog of victory….heh. Oh and that recession….you guys are responsible for it and it is tied to you just like the “recession” of 1929 was…..sucks to be you.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:05 pmTHIS IS A THINK PROGRESS WEBSITE IF YOU ARE NOT THINKING PROGRESSIVELY YOU NEED TO MOVE IT RIGHT ALONG — YOU RADICAL RIGHT WINGERS WHO THINK RUSH IS RIGHT. DON’T COME OVER HERE TRYING TO STEAL OUR JOY 4 TODAY!
January 20th, 2009 at 5:05 pmgood advice, I reccommend that you take it.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:06 pmPRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suck it, trolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 20th, 2009 at 5:08 pmGreen,
Kinda hard to hold hands and sing kumbaya with people who are calling us “idiots, pigs, fascists, hatemongers, a**holes, etc.” and wishing us dead, simply because we are voicing our opposition to someone’s politics.
I thought that was our God-given right that is protected in the Constitution that Mr. Obama swore to protect and defend today.

This is a false argument put forth by the anti-taxers. They claim that if you cut the taxes for wealthy people, they’ll spend more and spur the economy. Except it isn’t true because they don’t spend it, they save it. And they don’t create jobs with it, either, because that’s not what rich people do with their tax breaks. So if they do nothing with their exra money to spur the economy, then all you’ve accomplished by cutting their taxes is to make them even richer. Why is that a good thing? What do they need the extra money for?
January 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pmFred,
Please point out what I said that was hateful.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pmkilltheconnies
What do you have against Connies? My mother-in-law would sure take offense.
You do know you spelled your moniker wrong…right…tard.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pmYou didn’t see the economy going in the dumpster either while progressives did….so? You predicted that Iraqi’s would welcome us with flowers and that there were wmd’s, so?
got any more jewels to bestow upon us…….I mean turds.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pmRalph, I started out today laughing at some of the pathetic trolls – now someone seems to be sending in the real crazies.

Obama was fairly and cleanly elected. Not even a conservative can argue with that.
Bush wasn’t my president because he was initially installed in office by the Supreme Court. Illegally.
(Where did all these weirdos come from? Friends of Rush Limbaugh’s?)
January 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pmWhen you go to someone’s house and piss on the floor you get what you deserve……it’s a two way street, when will you get it through your head that we don’t like or respect you?

I can’t help but point out the irony of your hateful moniker, dingleberry.
How pathetic is this one, TP crew?
January 20th, 2009 at 5:12 pmYou don’t?
You sure you’re paying attention?
January 20th, 2009 at 5:12 pmHappy day, Nevar!!
January 20th, 2009 at 5:12 pmNevar,
And yet he won re-election in 2004…
But I’m sure that was rigged too, right?
January 20th, 2009 at 5:12 pmI have to second and third the sentiment that people should stick to attacking the issues instead of each other. Basic sticks and stones.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:13 pmThey own half the wealth, so yes, it is fair that they pay half the taxes.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:13 pmInteresting.
Is this just a build up of trolls over the months, spewing their hatred all at once to try and disrupt the joy and celebration of the historic occasion known as “CHANGE”?
Well, if I may reiterate:
THE 44th PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!
Trolls be damned.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:13 pmAmerica voted.
You failed.
You lose.
Have a nice day.
zooey, they have all been pathetic. It has been a good day. Barak inaugurated and the trolls have pissed themselves…..yay.

1) Don’t run, walk. Those basement walls are not made of Jello.
2) Did you drop that directive (”Carry on”) to pass yourself off as manly on the way out? Because we don’t consider chickenhaws manly, and TP doesn’t depend on trolls to pace the threads.
