drew3rd, your generalization is flat out wrong. You need to get out more. I have traveled extensively and while there are places around the world that would fit what you mention, there are a lot of those kind of places right here in the US as well. I have been to some very nice places in other countries and I am not talking about luxury resorts but everyday places.

As a union glazier I want to say that I agree with Mr McConnell and that, anecdotally speaking, he’s right. I know that at our Union, District 21, Local 252, the vast majority of the men don’t want to have their votes go public. We sometimes disagree with management and we don’t want them banging on our door when we vote against their agenda. Try avoiding “get out the vote” drives. This would be much worse than that.

See kids, ya gotta get your news from different sources and find the common thread in all. The detainees aren’t gonna be released to run free like gazelles, or republican cronies. They are going to receive something that I know is alien to you… it’s called “due process of law”. And while I know it’s a big word, you may want to also look up something called “Habeas Corpus”.

Time to relearnify… (have to phrase that in a language you can understandificate).

For the last 28 years wages have fallen as profits have gone through the roof,intimidation from management is running rampant,management is spending tons of money on union busting and our middle class way of life is in the shitter because of trickle down supply side economics that hasn`t worked, so now it`s time to give it a try our way,with good paying jobs,protectionist trade that works for all invovled and just go away Mitch and take your labor hating Reich Wingers with you.Also his wife was on the board for Northwest Airlines where we are currently going through unionizing with Delta labor since we merged and Delta is spending some serious cash on union busting instead of spending it on fuel hedging and other issues to save money and turn a profit.People educate yourselves about the EFCA.
