Introducing a segment on Fox News Sunday this morning, host Chris Wallace began, “President Bush makes a big push for GOP support,” but then he caught himself, saying “Did I say President Bush? President Obama.” “Old habits die hard,” added Wallace, commenting on his mistake. Watch it:
The GOP don’t want to “support” anything because they have no new ideas and clearly have nothing for America. In their march toward the fringes of both politics and society, obstructing Democrats’ efforts to fix Bush’s Republican mess will be their only strategy.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:05 amChris Wallace is an airhead.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:05 am” “Old habits die hard,” added Wallace”
yup, i can imagine being a paid nuthugger for 43rd would be a hard habit to break since it’s his freakin’ meal ticket.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:11 amIt just reminds me of how glad I am that he is in Texas! Thank God!
February 1st, 2009 at 10:12 amI didn’t catch the show but I bet they didn’t mention this
GOP governors press Congress to pass stimulus bill
Saturday, January 31, 2009 3:20 PM EST
The Associated Press
By BETH FOUHY Associated Press Writer
NEW YORK (AP) — Most Republican governors have broken with their GOP colleagues in Congress and are pushing for passage of President Barack Obama’s economic aid plan that would send billions to states for education, public works and health care.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:14 ampersonally, i feel for the upcoming election cycle, the DNC should run clips of Faux news trumpeting how repukelicans are resistant to any overtures made by obama. Superimposed over the clips should be “non-partisan”? at the end have a voice over stating, “republican obstructionism and partisanship is rewarded. is this kind of behavior what we need in these troubling ecenomic times”?
February 1st, 2009 at 10:16 amWell, why don’t any of them do anything about mobbing and gangstalking? And why isn’t this ever on the news when there is so much information about it on the Internet? Even a book Mobbing in the American Workplace.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:28 amIs this really news? It’s like writing 2008 on things for the first couple of weeks of 2009. Happens every year.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:32 amoh boy… chinless mcconnel on face the nation…
bob schieffer wants to know what HE thinks about daschel’s tax snafu…
February 1st, 2009 at 10:32 amoh… and he doubts the senate will pass the “stimulus”…
still with the “housing problem”…
THAT’S WHAT TARP FUNDS ARE FOR!!!
they just ignore the facts… “honey bee insurance… hahaha”…
February 1st, 2009 at 10:35 amyea… paybacks are hell.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:37 amsenator gregg has promised chinless that if he takes the commerce job it will not change the seat in the senate…
so, a senator can direct a governor to do that?
appoint another repug?
now it’s schumer’s turn…
February 1st, 2009 at 10:40 amhey, proud to be a retard,
at what point did you and your assclown friends give up the premise of “support the president”, “repsect the office of the president” and “he’s everyone’s president”?
February 1st, 2009 at 10:41 amdelusion is quite curious… leads some to believe things that are just not true…
February 1st, 2009 at 10:41 ampoor little proud to be a retard,
the fact that the democrats in illinois impeached him and the democrats in the senate tried to block his senate appointee instead of covering up for blago like repukeliscums would have really fries your arse, doesn’t it?
you-have-nothing!
February 1st, 2009 at 10:46 am“the numbers are huge” – schieffer
“the economic mess we’re in is huger” – schumer…
i love it.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:46 amProud of what?
February 1st, 2009 at 10:46 amHi John Kerry:
February 1st, 2009 at 10:48 amStick around why don’t ya. I am just starting a crab corn chowders. It is hand pick real blue crab not that pasteurized crap.
actually, i love it when “proud” to be a retard shows up in “barack obomber” drag after i hand his arse to him on a silver platter, with a carrot as part of the presentation.
February 1st, 2009 at 10:51 amso, dbadass, do you ship?
my mouth is watering just thinking about fresh crab…
February 1st, 2009 at 10:53 amholy crap… schieffer is trumpeting the steele/gop …
February 1st, 2009 at 10:57 ami can’t… finish… too much b.s. to wade through…

barney frank is doing great on abc now…
February 1st, 2009 at 11:16 amwouldn’t let george brush off the “war” spending…
repugs hypocrisy – no spending for roads and schools but always want some for cold war weapons that are not needed…
Prod, you’ve got a loooooong way to go to demonstrate that you’ve got “sense”.
February 1st, 2009 at 11:21 amAnyone here think that Prod can explain what about Gov. patterosn’s process of selection Hillary Clinton’s replacement struck him as “bumbling”?
Most observers gave Gov. Patterson high marks for navigating the treacherous waters of the Kennedy lobby successfully.
And Blago’s pick, while inappropriate to many, was conducted with lightning-fast efficiency, and resulted in a seated Senator for Illinois.
Y’know, I’m beginning to think Cattle Prod just isn’t serious when it posts…
February 1st, 2009 at 11:25 amkaty @24:
February 1st, 2009 at 11:35 amEver been to Crisfield?
Like so many other fisheries the days of the big jimmies of my youth seem to be gone.
John Kerry finally found a topic he’s not afraid of.
February 1st, 2009 at 11:40 amOnce in love, always in love. Thank you, JoeTheTraitor
February 1st, 2009 at 11:41 amWhoops, forgot to add Chris Wallace.
February 1st, 2009 at 11:43 amdbadass – i am landlocked here in s.central illinois… well, the Little Salt Creek runs through my neighborhood… at times…
have traveled to east coast, in ‘78 b.c. (before children), and love it… drove up the coast from outer banks to new york – final destination was sister’s home in poughkeepsie, then back to illinois…
love the seafood though…
February 1st, 2009 at 11:48 ami understand the supply is dwindling… imagine that, huh…
As much as I am not a fan of Chris Wallace, I actually don’t think this is a big deal, so early in the new presidency. Rachel Maddow actually caught herself making the same mistake on her show.
February 1st, 2009 at 11:57 amdbadass, my wife disagrees, but for me, Alaskan king crab, even Dungeness can’t compoete with the delectable flavor of freshly-taken blue claw backfin.
If Troll JK doesn’t want, I’ll have his portion.
February 1st, 2009 at 12:06 pmI agree with several others — much ado about nothing — and not such a biggie. If this happens in 6 months, then it’s a big deal, but not yet.
February 1st, 2009 at 12:09 pmProud Says:
Proud you are just an ignorant punk. Your trolling makes you look just as stupid and desperate as you are. No wonder decent people shun you. Do the world a favor and go play in heavy traffic
February 1st, 2009 at 12:17 pmProudMoron Says:
Thanks for agreeing with me katy, finally a wingnut with some sense.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
She doesnt agree with you moron. No reasonable person would agree with you. None of the reasonable people here are as stupid as you. None are as brainwashed and pathetic as you. Isnt it time for Rush to tell you what you think today?
February 1st, 2009 at 12:18 pmralph you indeed may be my doppelganger. I will admit though that up until recently I also had a ten pound case of king crab in the freezer. It is such a bummer when the cases break and we can’t ship them if you know what I mean…
February 1st, 2009 at 12:18 pmYOU CAN SHIP THEM TO ME!!!
February 1st, 2009 at 12:48 pmKaty, your sister’s in Poughkeepsie? If you ever head that way again, Wayne and I are close by…
dbadass, any leftovers, you know where to drop them off.
February 1st, 2009 at 2:00 pmBack on topic, I don’t think Wallace’s slip is a big deal either. I agree with jdkrheum, helen rainier, etc.
February 1st, 2009 at 2:02 pmOBA OBA HAS KEPT ‘REDITION’ WITH AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TWO DAY AFTER TAKING OFFICE!!!!! Have a looki on how ObamaShortChange is ‘CHANGING’ from pre-election to post election! Plus, he said he would have plenty to say about US-backed Israeli massacre of Palestinians, but the only thing he had to say was the same rethoric from Washington. He mentioned ‘Palestinian suffering’ in the same phrase he said ‘Israeli suffering’. Nothing about the MASSACRE!!!!!
February 1st, 2009 at 2:30 pmObamaShortChange!
How come I find Chris Wallace’s “live and let die” very hard to believe?
He really does need to go back to Journalism 100 and earn his degree. Obviously dad’s influence doesn’t go beyond the last name.
February 1st, 2009 at 4:11 pm.
Dear Mike Wallace,
Your son babbles much, NO?
.
February 1st, 2009 at 4:20 pmOld habits die hard, and old dumb asses fail to adapt.
February 1st, 2009 at 5:03 pmoops. sorry to leave you hangin’ jane…
no, my sister moved to texas… at least it’s austin!
but the move deepened her right wing nuttiness…
she’s a big palin fan now, too…. uuuuuuugh.
.
game time…
February 1st, 2009 at 6:08 pmThis is NOT news. He made a mistake. It would be the same as if he said 2008, while we’re now in 2009. It takes a while to get used to saying President Obama. Come on TP, you’re better than this.
