Marlow your such a twit. The Economy was doing fine until the Democrats gained power in 2006. The collapse of the Economy was due to Democrats like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. They began the collaps when their policies in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (House of Cards) fell apart. If you think that 900 billion dollars of expanded social programs are going to save the economy then you go down to the un employment office and save yourself a place in line.

President Bush tried to reign in those two in 2001 and again in 2005 but the Liberal Democrats squashed all efforts to change what was happening in the housing industry. You need to read what really happened not what the Liberals tell you happened.

They thought this amount was too low to stimulate the economy. You should know what your talking about before you spout off with your anit GOP rehtoric and anti Republican hate.
