The CIA has lots of better ways to get information. They are the Pros, let them do their job. One of the ways they (CIA) can get there info is with waterboarding. Its not torture its EFFECTIVE. We have done more waterboarding of our on military than we have on terrorist. Why? because its EFFECTIVE and it does not leave a scar. AH nuts!!!
You liberal wennies make me want to puke. John McCain was not for waterboarding because I think he was suffering from Stockhome syndrome, but I digressssss. I have two granddaughters and McCain is too liberal for me, so you can imagine how safe I think liberals are going to keep us.
By the way I agree with you liberals that the military should not be in charge of Gitmo. Military troops should be used for what they were intended not jailers. They should be training to KILL. The great Obama signs a executive order to close Gitmo. Like a typical liberal he has not thought through the consequences of that action. What are we gonna do put the terrorist into our free democratic judical system on American soil. Typical liberal answer to “can we all get along” THEY ARE TERRRRRRRRRORIST. And O by the way they have not rights under the Geneva Convention. THEY ARE TERRORIST. They do not play by the rules that a soldier must abide by. You be-little ourmilitary when you compare them in the same breath.
OOOO by the way our saviour Obama is going to make Leon Panetta head of the CIA. LEON has no has no Intelligence background. I watch with great interest Mr Panetta at senate intelligence hearing. He answer questions concerning Obama’s directive on torture and extraordinary rendition. What a DANCE, We call it the Panetta dance where he said we will not use torture ie waterbording except in extreme situations.
HELLO!!!!!!!! Thats what happens when a human being wants to kill Americans LOTS OF AMERICANS AT ONE TIME. I don’t see Mr Panetta lasting in the job very long. The realities that he will be exposed to will drive his liberal mind mad. Or, he will go off he deep end and believe he is above the law like Sandy Berger. All you liberals remember good ole Sandy, National Security Advisor to Bill Clinton (I did not have sex with that woman, Monica L) and we wonder why Muslim extremist call the US the great satan, but I digresss. Good ole Sandy Berger took top secret documents for what ever reason hidden in his shirt, pants and socks. What a guy, makes ya proud to be an American don’t it? If I would have done anything close to that when I was in the military I would still be in JAIL.
I’m glad I am old, I will not have to live with this crap long. BUT my granddaughters will and I want America’s intelligence professionals to do all they can to keep them from harms way.

Notice the article says that he was rendered to Pakistan and Morocco which is where the torture occured, not Gitmo. This sort of thing has been happening at least as far back as ‘95 when extraordiary renditions started.

It’s as if the Republican fuhrer worshippers want a STRONG military style government with a STRONG leader as opposed to our weak democracy and Constitution.
