George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).

George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.

Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

What I don’t understand is America has had an enemy to fight for years. Poverty, health care costs, an out of control president, loss of jobs, taxes just name a few.
Why don’t they focus on those items instead of focusing on the Democratic party.

The GOP has no idea what it stands for, and their leadership is totally devoid of fresh ideas to present to the American public. So instead they use the “shotgun” approach to politics–randomly attack Democrats and their policies, desperately hoping to hit something, anything.

So far, they’ve mostly just hit air.

Limbaugh told his listeners that he was asked by “a major American print publication” to offer a 400-word statement explaining his “hope for the Obama presidency.” He responded:

“So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, “Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.” (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here’s the point. Everybody thinks it’s outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, “Oh, you can’t do that.” Why not? Why is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: “Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.” Somebody’s gotta say it.”

“Liberalism is our problem”? When so-called ‘conservative’ policies got us into the mess we’re in, and which voters rejected in November.

So, yes, Rush Limbaugh said “I hope he fails” when asked about Obama. And his bullshite about ‘liberalism’ is just that, bullshite. And, yes, Rush Limbaugh is still a big fat idiot.

BTW, at this point, I’m just flagging JK automatically.

Levi, we DO understand that! TP gives us an opportunity to vent frustration in humor, lest that frustration turn to despair or hate. Jesting with our blogmates and jousting at trolls refreshes us: from our blogmates, we gain a sense of community across the nation; from the trolls, we gain an opportunity to vent through humor–and, in the venting, we progressives teach each other almost daily, as we’re an eclectic bunch.

My own already liberal horizons have been considerably broadened, have become better defined, and have gained an even more factual underpinning just in the couple of months I’ve blogged on TP. TP is an education!
