Wait, did Bush not inheret a recession? The economy and GDP says yes, and after that, 9 11? Regardless of who you blame for 9 11 it had a real effect on the economy, yet his tax cuts did 100% lead to new jobs. Our economies plight today is based upon the Republicans supporting the ‘92 Fair Trade Housing Act, that made 2 Million Americans, who could not afford a home in the first place, credit to buy that home. It took us 16 yrs to realize a new GDP of $4 trillion more new dollars, that never existed. It was borne on bad loans forced on banks by our govt. It took us 16 yrs to catch this, so bad, “innovative” loans caused the stock market and housing values to soar. As soon as we caught up to the new GDP, we are where we are. Our wealth was a fraud and now we are readjusting. Pres Bush lied about a lot of things, and was one of the more misguided leaders we have had, but his economic policy did help Americans, and although he should have acted to stem the bank issue we are in, it was not 100% his fault, maybe 60%. He did protect us though.

Honestly, let’s legalize marijuana, regulate it, tax it, and balance our budget. Then we can protect all people who love each other, and leave “marriage” up to the Churches, as it is a Sanctimonous Process. Also must protect a womans right to choose, but not abuse that as birth control. Let’s assist people who do not have an education and want to better their place in society. Pay for their education and help them better themselves, not enable them for having 8 kids.

I am sick of the party politics and want to see someone out there who is Pro American and pro American Citizens, not Pro Democrat or Liberal. Any thoughts?

I think that Texas should open up a cultural center for failed political leaders(Bush),has been actors(Chuck Norris) and aging zoned out rockers(Ted Nugent). Now there’s a trio Texas can be proud of.

Again, as a Texan I apologize for the morons that we elect to badly govern our state. Governor Goodhair is a joke, our legislature is working on a non-existent problem, that of ILLEGAL voting so that everyone will have to have an id; all the while our idiot Attorney General spent millions of dollars investigating non-existent voter fraud. Members of the legislature have now introduced legislation to allow college students to carry weapons on campus. No, Mexico would not want us back.
I think Texans dreams of republicanism are coming to an end. Our urban areas are becoming more Democratic. The rural rednecks are now the problem.

… However, there is a fine line that the American Government MUST WALK and not cross.

If you are so willing to give up essential Liberties as interested to us by our Founders, then does that person truly appreciate the greatness to such Liberties?

The Bush presidential library at SMU will have a fountain at its entrance…one with red dye coloring the water to a proper blood-red tinge…in commemoration of all the people, men, women and children, the Bush presidency caused to die.

Or maybe, the fountain water will be yellow-tinged, as people visiting Bush’s presidential library piss in it, not only giving the fountain a proper coloration, but also reminding anyone within smelling distance (or downwind) why George W. Bush is viewed as the worst president ever.
