That depends on your position; if you are a “pro-lifer” then you do NOT agree with this statement. But let’s be striaght — a fetus IS a parasite. We all begin as parasites. As such, the “host” does have the option to choose to continue to carry the parasite until it naturally completetes its parasite cycle, or to have it removed.

Ummmm… no. No “contract” is entered into at any point. This isn’t a business deal, and business analogies DO NOT apply to every situation there is. There is no contractual obligation between a human and a fetus. None. The fetus FORCES itself upon the human, and, like any other parasite, the fetus TAKES from the host whatever it needs without any “contractual obligations”, neither with any negotiations, nor even seeking permission. It just takes.

And UNTIL that fetus is outside the womb and existing completely on its own, it is still JUST A FETUS, not a human, and it is still a parasite ENTIRELY DEPENDANT upon the host body to survive. Whether it MIGHT be a ble to survive on its own is not relevant — it IS NOT DOING SO UNTIL IT IS BORN. As mentioned above, one can argue “mights” all day — that child MIGHT grow up to be a serial killer, mass murderer, rapist, etc. Might even grow up to kill its own mother. Might. The natural cycle determines when it will attempt to enter the world and exist independantly, but until that happens, evaluations of an ability to exist on its own are entirely speculative hypothesis, and in now way resemble FACTS.

If conservatives think that the real problem is aborting the fetus, they should support policies that reduce the amount of abortions. Abstinence ain’t it.
