My prediction is the next attack will come from someone released from Guantamo whose record the pentagon has deliberately scrubbed, desantizated and cleansed of any link to terrorist activities, to trick the obama team into releasing him. They will then send him home and hook him up with the supplies and allies necessary to carry out an attack against our interests somewhere in the world, even if it only kills a few americans. Then this “false flag” will be used to try and make the country think it cant be safe with the torturing, unconstituional policies of the warmongers..

Sorry folks, wake up, do the statistics..your several million times more likely to be killed by a fellow american than you are by a foreigner, and your chance of being killed by a foreigner is roughly equal to that of winning the lottery then being struck by lightning on your way to collect your winnnings..

Maybe God is judging and punishing Cheney in afflicting Cheney with further heart problems in the here and now (15 October 2008) notwithstanding God’s fiery judgment against Cheney in the afterlife.

Maybe God is also punishing Cheney in having placed Cheney in a wheelchair for whatever period of time.

Cheney has absolutely no standing to comment on national security.

i love hearing people invoke the Incompetence Theory as an excuse against investigating 9/11… it’s clear that anyone employing this fallacy simply cannot imagine anyone more intelligent than themselves, which in itself is the hallmark of stupidity.

What would actually make America safer is to help the people that the Taliban is trying to recruit, the 963 million suffering from hunger. That is alot of people to potentially turn into American haters because we unfortunately are viewed to be a nation capable of helping them with the problems (and we actually pledged in 2000 along with 190 other countries to help eradicate global poverty), so it quite easy to be recruited into an organization that provides you with food, water, shelter and schools for the children. The Borgen Project (www.borgenproject.org) has some great ideas on how to help those in need and to change the image of America for the better.

Please give me a break, “Cheney’s view having merit.” As a direct result of Cheney/Bush jr’s policies, decisions and directives (like invading the wrong country after 9-11) terrorism has increased significantly world-wide every year since the 9-11 attacks.

Cheney’s arguments are based on total bushshit with absolutely no emperical data or facts to back them up. That ba$tard has less than zero creditability with any American who reads or thinks.

Every time Cheney speaks he shows more clearly how crazy he really is. He has no sense, no compassion and no belief in anything but money. Money may be able to keep him alive and comfortable, but not permanently. We must be patient. People like him and his whole cabal, do not last forever. When he dies, the only memories of him will be of criminality, hatred and power, and greed. A war mongering, fear mongering demi-god. That is his place in history.

The fact is Obama has class. And even if I do not agree with all he does, I can applaud his intelligence and his decency. Too bad the last administration had no one who was nearly as good.

If we avoid future attacks under Obama’s leadership, his vision for national security will be validated.

If we suffer significant future attack(s) that can somehow be linked to a relaxation in Bush policies, Cheney’s will view will have some merit.

Cheney…..just the mere mention of his name causes discomfort to the sane. His voice causes revulsion and aversion. If you combine sight AND sound, the reactions are understandably strong and violent. All repulsive. THAT is why he gets “more play”.
