Cantor: The Public Is ‘Finally Waking Up’ To The Fascist ‘One-Party Government’ In Washington D.C.

C-SPAN’s Washington Journal hosted House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) this morning. During the segment, a caller phoned in to “thank” Cantor “and [Rep.] Michele Bachmann [R-MN] and all of the conservatives that are doing such a great job.”

The caller then said it’s “insanity” that there are “people” drinking “from the kool-aid” who “seem to think that there is a magical tree of money behind Washington,” adding that the country is descending into “fascism.” In response, Cantor said the public is “finally waking up” to this and that the GOP is trying to bring President Obama “back into the mainstream”:

CALLER: But what really is scaring the rest of us, the other half of us, is the fascism. I mean the true fascism that is happening in this country today. [...] The belligerent takeover of a one-party system. [...]

CANTOR: Now as far as a one-party government in here, I think what the public is doing they’re finally waking up and everybody is realizing that checks and balances are a part of the system and divided government is something that is beneficial to a balanced debate, and something that can produce a better outcome. Which is exactly why Republicans in the House have said, “Look, we want to work with our colleagues on the other side of the aisle. We want to try to bring this president back into the mainstream.”

Watch it:

Its not surprising that instead of denouncing the caller’s attacks, Cantor simply ran with them, as it appears that demonizing President Obama’s agenda is all the Republicans on Capitol Hill can come up with in opposition.

Indeed, shortly after Obama’s election victory, one GOP congressman compared one of Obama’s proposals to “what Hitler did in Nazi Germany.” In fact, Cantor’s colleagues in the Republican leadership have been fanning the flames as well. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) called Obama’s budget proposal “a new American socialist experiment” while Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), the third-ranking House Republican, denounced Obama’s economic agenda as “European-style socialism.”

Transcript:

CALLER: Good morning, Congressman Cantor.

CANTOR: Good morning.

CALLER: You are a breath of fresh air sir.

CANTOR: Thank you.

CANTOR: Sorry about all of the ignorance that has descended upon you this morning. But first of all, I would just like to thank you and Michele Bachmann and all of the conservatives that are doing such a great job. The people that drink from the kool-aid seem to think that there is a magical tree of money behind Washington and their theory is that if you want to go on a diet, you should eat more cakes and steaks. And if you want to stop drinking, you should fill your house with alcohol. I mean its insanity. But what really is scaring the rest of us, the other half of us, is the fascism. I mean the true fascism that is happening in this country today.

HOST: What do you mean by that, caller?

CALLER: The belligerent takeover of a one-party system.

CANTOR: Alright well let me respond to that caller. First of all, I think you are right about the fact that when people earn their own money, and they’re given a chance to have more control over how the dollars they earn are spent; you ultimately get a better outcome. So the attempt to tray and say “we need to take more money from the people who earn it, bring it into Washington and decide what the priorities should be from here,”
I think is misguided and at the end of the day you create a lot of waste, a lot of inefficiency and you don’t get economic growth. So we want to put incentives in place. You are absolutely right.

Now as far as what is going on in this town, and in this budget, and you say that the formula the president has adopted is “we need to spend more to produce an economic recovery,” that seems to be what this budget is about. Because you are right, this budget spends more and it represents a larger portion of government expenditure, a larger portion of GDP than we have had since 1945. So I agree with you, we need to make the same kind of choices here in Washington that working families are trying to deal with every single day. They have got to balance their budgets. We ought to be doing the same.

Now as far as a one-party government in here, I think what the public is doing they’re finally waking up and everybody is realizing that checks and balances are a part of the system and divided government is something that is beneficial to a balanced debate, and something that can produce a better outcome. Which is exactly why Republicans in the House have said, “Look, we want to work with our colleagues on the other side of the aisle. We want to try to bring this president back into the mainstream.” Because what you see about the budget document he has presented, is one that is so far out of the mainstream. Proposing this cap and trade scheme that frankly will produce a tax hike on every household in this country. Some estimates out MIT say that each household in America will play over $3,000 in taxes every year because of this cap and trade scheme that the president is proposing. That means if you pay an electric bill, you pay higher taxes. If you pay a gas bill, you pay higher taxes. If you buy anything manufactured in this country, you are going to pay higher taxes under this president’s. That is a job killer. And if we’re concerned about taxes right now, we cannot have that provision and we cannot have that plan go forward.

I wouldn’t be paying any attention to anything else this moron caller had to say after that. Cantor is such a limp-d^ck. Fascism would be a better fitting label for your dream days under imperial Bush, moron.

It’s like listening to a bunch of children. They don’t know what they are talking about, but go on and on as if their imaginary friends are real… It would be funny if Cantor weren’t an elected Representative!

  4. Little Freep Goofballs says:

“We want to try to bring this president back into the mainstream.”

So to Cantor, getting a majority of votes means you’re out of the mainstream?

  5. buzzbomb says:

    “Checks and balances”
I love how all the Repukes remember all this stuff now that they’re not in power. How utterly pathetic.

  6. spencers mom says:

Let me understand – when the one party in control of all branches of government is the GOP – GOOD. When the GOP is out of the majority, and polls lower and lower each week – BAD.

When Cantor is the best they’ve got, they really are in trouble. And to truly understand fascism one need look no further than the last 8 years.

  8. unbelievable says:

Where was this outrage when Bush was spending $5 trillion on blowing up a third world country that posed no actual threat to us, tax cuts for rich people who have been proven not to pay taxes and not to share their money in Trickle Down or any other fashion, and to making his oil buddies wealthy at our expense? Hmmm?

  9. celtic cynic says:

Thanks Mr. Cantor, but we woke up to the fascist one-party government in Washington last year when we threw the bums out. Now get off your duff and start acting responsibly and doing what your electorate want rather than the mandates of the failed republican party.

I see. The Republicans purposely lost the 2006 Congressional elections because they wanted a divided government. That’s what I call putting country first. Thank you Republicans.

The belligerent takeover of a one-party system. You have got to be kidding me, for almost thirty years real Americans have been having to live with Fascism from Raygun, two Shrubs and a very moderate Clinton.Well I for one do want a belligerent takeover by the Left so we can have haelth care, roads and bridges, public education that works, college that is affordable, yes I will have a progressive takeover back from the REICH a$$hole that have ruined America. The last eight years of Authotarianism/ Bushco has terrified the hell out of people, class warfare has ruined many innocet families and the rich keep getting richer,PHUCK U REICH Wing nut jobs=HYPOCRITES

  12. the brown acid says:

and a word to the ever so wise republicans

You don’t want socialism in America?

Don’t subvert the market. Don’t trash the economy. Don’t hand out “no-bid” contracts to your incompetent, overpriced buddies. Don’t piss away money on worthless weapons systems and stupid quagmires. This “socialism” is damage control from 8 years of orgiastic spending and bad policy. All it’s doing is re-balancing a lot of aspects of our society that have been out of balance for a very long time. We needed clean energy 40 years ago – we’re just getting to it now. Just one example.

Apparently, the right doesn’t know its right form its left.

About once a month, some winger compares liberals to Nazis. They obviously think this is a brilliant intellectual ploy, based on all the Democratic Presidents who have turned into strutting tyrants.

  16. LeeHope says:

It never ceases to amaze me how these members of Congress who I dare say are supposed to be respectable people are allowed to get away with this sort of smut!!!! They are never taken to task or held accountable for what they say! They are just fanning the flames of the low-information kooks, like the ones who attended Sarah Palin rallies during the campaign fervor, out there. Just more proof that the GOPers have absolutely nothing to offer but cheap-shots and no answers or solutions to the problems facing this nation….pretty sad!!

Nope, they’re not. The DC Metro – which runs through the communist enclaves of Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Suburban Maryland, has been choked with delays the past few mornings.

So there we have it – proof positive that “liberal fascism” is yet another ridiculous mythical creature devised by the right. We’ll add it to “Islamofascism,” “intelligent design,” and “the free market.”

    They will make it happen.
Obama needs outspoken democrats to take to the airwaves, write op-eds and battle the repugs in every arena. He does a good job of appealing to the public, but he needs others in the house and senate to fight some of those battles with their peers.

  27. hussein toasterhead says:

Also, “one party rule?” Has Cantor even seen what his blue dog Democratic colleagues in the Senate are up to? The Democrats can barely rule their OWN one party!

These people are laughable on their face. They appeal to the backwash – the 20% dead enders that thought chimpy did such a bang-up job as dur chimpfurher.

What these people say is meaningless without the megaphone and echo-chamber of the mainstream media.

The real problem has nothing to do with the proclaimations buy a unpopular political party and their mindless backers.

The real problem is that the mainstream media amplifies everything they say far beyond its merits and popular support, “catapulting the propaganda.”

“The other half of us?” Is he refering to the 20% or so of the ideologue dead enders who will retain their beliefs no matter what the facts on the ground are?

I have to agree with the first comment’s description of Cantor as “limpd***”. The repub leadership and pundits have really devolved to that.
If they really believe in their ideology, why can’t they just say that “although currently unpopular they believe history will prove them right” without all the mistruths and petty b.s.?

Maybe it’s because recent history has consistently proved them wrong.

And it wasn’t just Bush — where was the outrage when the Republicans controlled all of Congress and changed the rules to effectively prevent the minority party from introducing any legislation? Back when the GOP had power, merely having control wasn’t enough. They did everything they possibly could to stomp out every last burning ember and spark of the Democratic Party.

But THAT wasn’t fascism. Oh, nooooooooooooo….

Cantor has a lot of gall. I’d be laughing my head off if it wasn’t that he’s absolutely serious about wanting America to believe this nonsense.

It is very clear that Cantor slept through History class, as did most of his fellow propagandists. And they are appealing to the section of the public they have worked hard to keep from getting educated.

Short course: Hitler was a fascist who used propaganda and lies to lead Germany into a war that also finished wrecking the economy of the country. He did this to stop the Weimar government from trying to rebuild the economy and reputation of Germany after the previous right wing government led the country into a war and destroyed the economy.

    ________________________________________________________

I’ve always believed the best thing we can teach our children is how to think. Schools have quit teaching this — now they just focus on test prep for the all-important EOG tests. Children graduate after a dozen years of conditioning through memorize-and-regurgitate “learning”, and enter the world as mentally absorbant automatons.

Which is what the Republican Party counts on to keep their membership up. And that’s why they want the schools to stay exactly the way they are. If we actually EDUCATE our children, teach them how to think, and give them the tools to do so, we would have a population of people who think instead of mindlessly absorb propaganda.

    _____________________________________________________________

See my post at #58 about education. Cantor is counting on young people not knowing what either term really means. This way, when he flings the words around randomly to describe the Democrats, he’s hoping young people will be left with a vague feeling of “I don’t know what it means, but it must be something really bad.” If people hearing Cantor understood what “fascism” or “socialism” meant, they would immediately know Cantor is full of crap.

Kind of like what Ronald Reagan did with the word “liberal” back in the 80’s.

And most importantly, maybe no 4000 brave men and women dead, and countless Iraqis.

But nooooo, we woke up too late.

  59. TheSilentPriest says:

The Republican party is collapsing faster than the economy. Conservatives are literally eating each other. You have Sarah Palin refusing Government money for programs that help parents with ’special needs’ children, when during her VP campaign, those same parents would’ve had a ‘friend in the White House’. Or Steele actually being the Republican Chair, but Rush taking all the spotlight.

I live amoung Conservatives that I am correcting constantly, because they are completely misinformed. Where many want to blame the economic issues on Democrats or Liberals, when it was actually Ronald Reagan that removed the very regulations, which has put our economic system in jeporady. An uncontrolled system is far more dangerous than a over-managed one.

In the end, no matter how badly Conservatives wish they were still in charge, America has spoken and they are officially the minority. The Liberal movement is upon us all, and Liberals should act accordingly. Speak loudly and often about the ‘reality’ of things. And if they choose to not move forward, we will push through them.

Hitler also organized book burnings. The constant attempts to replace science and empirical study with myth in the school curriculum is just one step behind book burning.

The constant dismissal of intellectualism by Republicans is exactly what the totalitarian regimes of Hitler and Stalin did.
That simple fact suits their simple minds, enabling them to claim that Democrats are both Fascists and Communists, because Republicans don’t want to learn about the quite different philosophies behind the labels–to do so would be an act of intellectualism and therefore ’socialist’ and therefore ‘communist’, and therefore simple absolutism is the ‘cure’—which is also a fascist trait, but it can’t be fascist because we fought Hitler! So there!

  77. Bullsmith says:

You gotta hand to Republicans, they know fascism and they know projection. Put the two together and you get Eric Cantor, already a shining star in the compulsive liar category that poses as leadership these days.

One thing I really don’t understand, is how Republicans manage to call their fellow Americans Fascists, Communists, Socialists, and traitors, and yet still claim to be wrapping themselves in the flag. As a party they glory screaming about how America is being destroyed, but are ever careful not to try and use their elected positions to save it.

You know, the perils of a one-party state can be terrible.
When I was a sprat way back when, the Republican Party had folks like Nelson Rockefeller, Chuck Percy, and even Dwight Eisenhower.
What happened is that all those folks have been chased out of the Republican Party. What’s left is a bunch of radical Randists, Rapture fans, and Stormfront readers. Eisenhower would be shouted down as a hard-left Democrat. It’s rather amazing.
The middle-class Republicans who were for a strong defense and fiscal responsibility? They’re gone, and the Glenn Back faction is left.
We have as one of our more eminent Democrats Ronald Reagan’s Secretary of the Navy. Where’s the place for him in the Republican Party?
American may be a ‘center-right nation.’ I don’t really think so, but you know where that ‘center-right’ is?
It’s somewhere to the left of Evan Bayh.
The Republicans have purged their moderate members, run hard to the right, associated with white supremacists, Birchers, end-timers, and Objectivists. An awful lot of people woke up and found that the Republican Party they remembered was no more. In place of a Republican party that stood for fiscal restraint, scientific research, and law and order, we have the Party of Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, Bill O’Reilly and Jonah Goldberg.
They’re so far from the mainstream they can’t even see the water.

I ran across this site while trying to educate myself on both sides of issues and cannot believe the lack of education many of you exhibit in your comments. How sad and how frightening for America’s future. This once great nation can be great again, but you are all going to need to be educated on both sides of the issues and quit believing everything you hear without any individual investigation. Think for yourselves and learn about our true history before you speak your mind. If you want to appear educated and knowledgeable, leave out the profanity which makes you appear boorish and stupid. I feel sorry for all of you. Far right ideology is no better and they need to get educated on both sides of the issues as well. If everyone would do that instead of drink their respective kool-aid and espouse idiocy, we would be much better off as a country. Maybe we wouldn’t have gotten in this financial mess. Our leaders are corrupt, especially those in the majority, but also many of those in the minority. Of course there are a few good ones in the majority, but they are prevented from using common sense by the pressure of the corrupt leadership. I did not want to believe it, but it is true. There is a lot of ignorance out there and you are prime examples.

Obama’s job approval ratings are still very high and have changed very little in the last month. On the other hand, the Republicans in Congress are tanking. One poll had them going from a 34% approval to a 28% approval in one month whereas the Democrats are at 47%.

You see didnot (can I call you didnot?), after eight years of criminality, lies, absolute secrecy and hyper-partisan party politics by the Bush Administration and their eager cohorts on the Hill even somebody less capable of reading intoo human nature would understand that progressives are more than a little pissed at the extreme Right Wing. Their continued misuse of words like “fascism”, “socialism”, “communism” and the like to anger people and strike fear against Obama’s policies are disingenuous at least and anti-American at best. “We want to try to bring this president back into the mainstream.”

I think this statement is the most telling. Republicans are so non-reality-based that they really do think they are the mainstream. It’s time they faced reality and accept the fact that they enabled and encouraged the most fascist administration in U.S. history (the last one, not this one) and as a result, the Obama Administration has to fix the enormous mess they left behind. Considering that 61% of the population is behind the President, it’s staggering that the Republicans have not realized that the winds have changed, they are no longer trusted, and the “fear” tactics only work on the 23%ers.

And what is it with them and projection??

  129. pbg says:

    didnotwanttobelieveit:
    1) There are not ‘both sides’ of issues. There are a vast number of aspects of an issue. More than one viewpoint is laudable to investigate, but thinking about ’sides’ of an issue means you have lost an important battle right at the start.
    2) Debating an issue, which is a rewarding thing, has become increasingly difficult in recent years because one of the prerequisites for a debate is that you agree on the facts. And there are an enormous number of media sources that simply lie, misstate facts, and leave out vital information.
There are people like Rush Limbaugh who get the facts wrong time and again, never correct themselves, and never appear in a neutral forum to conduct any sort of ‘debate’. As a result of all this bad information, most of what goes on in the public square is trying to get to the starting line.
I am firmly devoted to finding out the facts of the situation, and will go anywhere to find them. What I am appalled at is the willingness of what passes for conservatives to swallow lies because they reinforce their beliefs.
I remember William F. Buckley’s firing Line with fondness, and would love it if we could get to that point. But we simply can’t do it with people who get the facts wrong. There is nothing positive about a debate with people who believe that Saddam Hussein sent his WMD’s to Syria, that WTC7 was dynamited with explosives, or that Laetrile cures cancer. Debate about facts is worse than useless.
3)I share your concern about education in this country: If I ran the zo, elementary school children would be taught Rhetoric along with spelling and American history.
But obscenity is no flag of stupidity or poor education: it’s merely priggishness. Henry Miller was a great writer: so was Hunter S. Thompson. So was Henry James, who never so much as came near an expletive. So was Hemingway, who lived among them.
We live in an age without a high style: tough, maybe, but it’s a fact. We’re also surrounded by execrable writing–and it would be nice to be delivered from some of it. But obscenity is not a marker. It’s an excuse.
Grammar is a wonderful tool, and a lot of so-called ‘dignified’ writing ignores it, switching from “you” to ‘one’ to ‘I’ in the course of a single piece, and flapping around from the present to the past to the future like a loose wire. But someone who focuses on obscenity is like someone who rants about split infinitives: they’re only considered wrong arbitrarily and are beside the point.
    3) After your paean to becoming informed, you embark on a contentless diatribe. All our leaders are corrupt, especially those in the majority? Is that what you think educated insight consists of?
That’s not insight, that’s conventional mythology. Everybody Knows That. We libs are currently tearing our hair out over a Treasury Secretary who seems to be working for his buddies in the finance industry. We get it. When we find corruption and incompetence on ‘our side’, we try to root it out. But we also expect ‘the other side’ to do so as well.

As far as I can tell, you probably wrote your piece to make you feel better about yourself. That’s understandable. But as a famous lib once said, you should perhaps deal with the beam in your own eye before inveighing against the mote in ours.

fascism = A form of government in which the authority of the state derives its power from, and exercizes its authority on behalf of, those members of society who own the means of production and all other forms of economic activity within that society.

Alright, Cantor’s history is warped. Let’s review: if he hates fascism so much, then he must be a socialist. The country that fought the Nazis the hardest and lost the most was the Soviet Union. As has been said previously, fascism and socialism are exact opposites and blood enemies.

So, Representative Cantor, question for you: if you hate this one-party, “fascist” system in government, then you must be a socialist, no? If you are indeed socialist, why do you hate your country so much? Why would you let your poor mother down?

  135. biggreenpea says:

Fellow Americans, this is indeed an ideological battle we are in and these are two faces of the enemy, Beck and Bolten. I screamed when the FOX guy mentioned communist China and this story…holy wrist wringing Obama, how you gonna handle that? And why is it when Bush was up there pretending, imho, the news never mentioned such questions? Good thing Cantor was just responding to a caller right? I mean if he had had to actually bring up fascism that would have been a tad too political…but since its a constituent he must respond. Seriously, we need to start calling this what it is to understand our internal enemies. One sure cover of any fascist would be to tar your opponent as the fascist. Again, nobody ever called Bush fascist in the news this way during his demonstrably anti-Constitutional reign. Why is nobody in the news ever talking about why Obama keeps bringing up the need to create a better educational system to meet the future? World Class he called it. Educated citizens do not fall for such blatant disinformation.

As a regular “Joe” type person who understands basic human nature, I am absolutely amazed and saddened by the level of sheer ignorance exhibited in the poorly written comments on this website. I ran across this site while trying to educate myself on both sides of issues and cannot believe the lack of education many of you exhibit in your comments.

Sounds a lot like (from the last Amanda thread):

The irony is I never came here by watching Bill0, I actually read something about this story on one website which led me to another and ultimately gave me cause to catch the Bill0 segment on rerun. I then came here to get the Think Progess side of the story. I found nothing but attacks (many laced with NOTHING but profanity with no points) directed at people that wanted to engage in debate or offer a different perspective. Honestly I didn’t even know this website existed until I was led here via a MSNBC related site.

I think we have a sock puppet, folks.”

There has been a slew of these who supposedly are now “checking both sides”. And they are always so disappointed. As another viewer and listener to news and entertainment media my own critical skills tell me our media is being saturated with false messages. Again, why have a World Class public educational system?

Democrats winning more elections than Republicans = one party rule = fascism. Got it.

  139. jlw771 says:

I do believe it is impossible for Barack Obama to be a fascist, considering he would have to move all the way across the political spectrum. Was that Joe the Plumber talking??

  140. Cleo says:

This sounds like a plant phonecall. I think Cantor had one of his aides call in the show, because he ran with it so fast. The whole thing stinks of being rehearsed to me.

  141. wiley says:

    Socialism or Fascism? Pick one.

  142. Rodeskawler says:

Yes, we did wake up. This is why Republicans no longer have the White House or majorities in either chamber of the legislature.

Can we project just a little more?

  143. flight says:

Clowns, Idiots, Dittoheads. Can this be the loyal opposition who is going to provide this President with some well thought out alternitives?
Cowards, arrogent, dishonest!!!!!!! These Republicans have been watching the store for 8 years, and where did they put this country? They will never own up to the bungled mess!
I want to laugh but what has happened to the Republican Party? They seem to attract every idiot with a big mouth!

  144. labman57 says:

Someone needs to inform the clowns in the GOP that fascism and communism are mutually exclusive. You cannot be both.

However, the GOP is proof positive that you can be both ignorant and stupid at the same time.

  145. questioneverything says:

Idiots aside, what people like Olbermann and Maddow, and for that matter, the Obama press people (Robert Gibbs, are you out there?) need to shout from the rooftops are the definitions of the words “fascism” and “socialism.” Then maybe many more uneducated Americans would actually wake up to what the “modern Republican Party” is projecting and what they are actually doing. Kantor and Rove and all of them want to destroy our government. They hate the American people, they despise the constitution. Tell your congress critters you know the truth.

  146. southrnbelle says:

These people are in serious need of psychological help.

    The projection is unbelievable.

  147. dropdeadcharisma says:

There is nothing positive about a debate with people who believe that Saddam Hussein sent his WMD’s to Syria, that WTC7 was dynamited with explosives,
    *****
    So what took down WTC7?

  148. Robt says:

    Wait wait wait,

But Obama is supposed to be a socialist librul. Rush and many others say so! Or was it a communist?

Wait, The most liberal in Washington was Kennedy. Or was it Kerry? no, Pelosi. No thats not it either. I can’t keep up with the Repubs.

One thing for sure and scientifically proven by republicans, Fascism is the domain of the Republican Party. Racism as well.

  149. truthseeker503 says:

You know you almost want to get in the mood to play this stupid game with these knuckle heads, but better judgments says rise above the childish antics of the hopeless REP. I am totally loosing any respect for so called conservative party. I can remember in the campaign, how President Obama tried to avoid the childish name calling and the kind of character attacks of the Rep. Party. Now here we go again–no substance, just character attacks. Not only is the party fairly weak the player are even worst. I consider myself to be a tough minded liberal. I would like to see us get back to a reasonable budget, but we need to get out of this present down turn now. We need to point out to others the methods that the REP are now using to attack President Obama’s character in an attempt to change public opinion. This kind of action only appeals to the so call base in the republican party which is still way behind the times, lacking many of the christian values that they claim to have. Christian can be judged by their works and you can see the REP. are getting further and further from the truth as they tell bigger and bigger lies. The one thing that the REP are afraid of is the possibility that this current plan might work. It has never been tried before and the concept is so far beyond the scope of the ideology of the REP. that they can only devote their time trying to change public opinion about the President. Now they claim that they have a plan. Let me guess it is the same old stuff that the American People got tired of in the last presidential election.

  150. tjirish34 says:

What some of you are missing is Cantor etc… They are talking to their base. Now you saw that base during campaign. Remember the McCain rallies that were beginning to look like lynch mobs? Those people are still out there. As for elections… Alot of Republicans left in office are in districts that are pretty much strong GOP. Only way they could lose is in GOP primary. So the GOP congressmen at least in House can come off as totally off base. GOP has no interesting ideas, no leadership. ook what they are doing. Forget Limbaugh… Bobby Jin was suppose be star, now they have propped up Cantor. Notice these guys are all younger. GOP seems think that’w why Obama won. Style over substance and they are wrong! What will be interesting is who runs against Obama in 2012.
