Fox henchman Jesse Watters reveals the tactics of the O’Reilly Harassment Machine.
Last night on The Factor, Bill O’Reilly announced that he sent his henchman Jesse Watters to stalk and harass Judge Rogers Padgett. The Hillsborough County judge released a sex offender on bail during the appeals process. So, O’Reilly sent Watters to extract a comment. As Padgett tried to escape into his car and drive away, Watters stuck his foot in the door, preventing Padgett from closing it. “I’m gonna hurt you, if you know, you don’t move your leg,” Padgett told Watters. If he had been convicted of 1st degree sexual assualt rather then the “less” serious charge of 2nd degree sexual assault, he could have locked him up and thrown away the key.
While I don’t support what this Judge did, I certainly do not support such attack dog tactics by O’Reilly.
If the prosecution and defense don’t like the ruling, they can get the Judge disqualified, and file a motion for reconsideration.

db, in my state you have one “freebie.” You can disqualify a Judge one time without explaining why — then the court will assign another Judge. That may work out to be good or bad, but it can be done.
