We are all people “of color” mostly of different shades off-white and most of us are happy to have whatever shade we have.
Most of the people that maintain the 11 homes of Sen. McCain probably got a pay raise by way of an apology. I don’t think McCain, or W. Bush, ever gave a verbal apology, for anything.
Pope John Paul II apologized 182 times, even for things that happened centuries before he was born. Reluctance to forgive implies a willingness to continue conflict -not smart.

I was once told “Hispanics”, you know, people from the land of “Hispania”, do not admit being “people of color”, not for lack of accuracy but, lack of reasonable meaning to the term. To acknowledge to be that which applies to everything on Earth or Mars, where everything is “of color” is too meaningless to include in a vocabulary. There may be other meaningless terms in life but I tried not to clog my memory.

Poor Sen. McCain is too old to notice he is too old to notice that he lost his temper much too often and we are left to wonder not the “color” of the Republicans but “what were they thinking” when they concluded Sen. McCain was the best Republican in the U.S.A. What does that say about their ability to know people, even their “non-colored” people? You know, people without color (my physics teacher would give me an “F” for using such a dumb and meaningless term).

I’ve enjoyed reading this site and decided to check in and joy in. I appreciate much of the insight of many you and your information is always looked forward to.

You people just don’t get it. You lost the election. You are free to try to justify McCain’s dismissive rhetoric if it helps you to survive. You people really do need to wake up and smell the coffee. If you don’t do that soon, all of you people will end up in an asylum.

I vote that we start referring to the Republican’t party as “you people”.

He won’t be able to walk the streets of Phoenix without a SWAT team, a couple of Blackhawks, and a bullet proof vest.

He is the military equivalent to the civilian brat born with a silver spoon in his mouth. That’s why, despite his actual shortcomings in average military officer characteristics, and who really knows what other transgressions besides destroying several multimillion aircraft, he made it to the point of almost manipulating his way to the POTUS.

Let him continue to rant. He exposes his true nature with every continuing blurt that is logically to be expected from him. He’s a sorry-assed, disgruntled loser.

Although I am not a registerd Democrat nor an Obama supporter, I hope he will elevate the status of the presidency and the USA to newer heights nationally and globally. I accept the fact, as should the GOP, that Obama is our nation’s leader and that we should look ahead to the next four years with a renewed hope for a better America. It seemed to me that in the last eight years our democratic form of government turned into a demagoguery with Bush and the GOP cronyism. Please Mr. Obama, show the world that we can progress into the second decade of the 21st Century and not regress to a past of global fear, turmoil and Armageddon.

McCain lost his temper. Obama has lost his debt-laden, fiscal fool mind.

Good try kwsventures, but your arguement doesn’t hold water.
1.) The debt being incured right know is an attempt to
perserve finanical infrastructures. The existence of
these orginizations is too critical and would take years
to re-establish. Lossing them would severely cripple our
long term economy. Not good for our children.
2.) The book keeping of the Bush adminstration didn’t
seem to bother your side. Keeping expenditures off the
books kept the publics eye off costs of the Irqi war.
This was dishonest and to Obamas’ credit, he stopped the
practice.
3.) The Republicans seemed to forget that any country need
to be taken care of. We have just witnessed 8 years of
neglect, and a federal government that is disfunctional.
These are expensive problems, and to survive as a modern
democracy, there is no choice, the problems need fixed.
4.) If you are trying to point to any recent Republican
presidents as fiscally responsible, you better turn off
the FOX news channel an read a little history.
5.) The country was handed to President Obama in very bad
shape. Bush was handed the country in great shape.

Don’t try to put this mess in Obama’s lap. You will look like an idiot and will get called on it every time!

I have no problem with hunting weapons or target weapons that are optimized for their purpose. What I object to is the loosely regulated purchase of military-style weapons which are optimized for killing people.

We had 4 (FOUR) policemen gunned down in ONE afternoon out here in the Bay Area 2 weeks ago. The shooter used an AK-47 to kill the last two.

As for reading this about McCain, he was definitely not presidental material.

That’s not a terrible idea. After all, cartridges(bullets) are weapons. However. I tend to look at the type of weapon.

As an example; there are weapons that are designed for a primary purpose of killing large numbers of people. The so-called “assault weapons” and high capacity handguns for example. Despite being a lifelong hunter, and shooting enthusiast, I can’t think of a legitimate reason for a civilian to posses an M16 or a handgun that holds 18 rounds.
